Bernard G. "Benny" Mongeau

Bernard G. "Benny" Mongeau, 83, of Butler Ave, passed Saturday at home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Theresa (Menard) Mongeau. They have been married for 61 years.
Born in Central Falls a son of the late Theodore and Arore (Poulin) Mongeau.
He had been employed for many years by the former Crompton Knowles and then worked for Carol Cable retiring in 1989.
He was a lifelong Communicant of St. Matthew Church, A member of the Knights of Columbus and the CYO of Woonsocket.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Ronald, Charles and Bernard “Bernie” Mongeau, brothers, Laurent and Rene Mongeau, sisters, Estelle Mongeau and Lucille Aubin, six grandchildren, a great grandson and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Maurice and Lucien Mongeau.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:15am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew Church, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends invited, calling hours Wednesday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Beacon Hospice Care Inc. RI, or the RI Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Andrew R. "Pete" Moreau

Andrew R. "Pete" Moreau, 74, of 466 Hunt St, died peacefully Saturday at the home of his son, Michael. He was the husband of Anzetta E. (Leighton) Moreau. They have been married for 51 years.
Born in Albion, a son of the late Esdras J. and Oglore R. (Descoteaux) Moreau.
He was the proprietor of Pete’s Barber Shop for ten years and had also worked for the Central Falls School Department and Housing Authority.
Andrew was a Navy, Korean War Veteran; he served aboard the USS Lake Champlain CV-39 and retired after 20 years of service in 1971. He was a former member of the Lefebvre VFW Post, American Legion, Post 14 Cumberland, the Blackstone Valley Fleet Reserve Association 132 and the Major Walter Gatchell Post 306.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Michael Moreau of Cumberland, Gregory Moreau of Lincoln, Stephen Moreau of Bellingham and Christopher Moreau of Pascoag. Three brothers, Charles E. Moreau of Cumberland, Gerard N. Moreau of Coventry and Robert E. Moreau of Smithfield. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Dorothy Clavet, Roland and Lucien Moreau.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:15am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew Church, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial with Military Honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, Relatives and friends invited, calling hours Tuesday 5-8pm. Theresa A.Wescott, 71, of Columbia Ave, died Tuesday at home with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Gordon W. Wescott Sr.
Theresa had dedicated her life to her family.
She is survived by her loving daughter and caregiver, Joanne M. Wescott with whom she resided. Seven sons, Gordon W. Wescott Jr. of Pawtucket, Gary T. Wescott of Pawtucket, Michael J. Wescott of Lincoln, Kenneth S. Wescott of Pawtucket, Joel P. Wescott of Pawtucket, Todd E. Wescott of Lincoln and Keith A. Wescott of Pawtucket. Two brothers, Harry Terrien of MA, and Raymond Terrien of Pawtucket, Four sisters, Elizabeth Listenfelt of Burrivillle, Ida Marshall of Central Falls, Laura Roe of Pawtucket and Marie Beaucage of Pawtucket, 16 grandchildren, a great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louis, Alfred, Janet, and Joseph Terrien.

Barbara L.Scofield, 82, formerly of Fales St, passed Tuesday at St. Elizabeth’s Manor, Bristol. She was the wife of the late James W. Scofield.
Born in New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Buckley) Hayes. She resided most of her life in Central Falls.
She had been employed by International Packaging for 20 years prior to retiring. Barbara was a longtime member of the Lincoln Congregation of Jehovah witnesses.
She is survived by three sons, James W. Scofield of Warren, David C. Scofield of Florida and Louis P. Scofield of Bristol. Two daughters, Gwen G. Brown and Amy A. DePina both of Pawtucket. 12 Grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Deborah Perez, and sister of the late William Hayes and Alice Molten both formerly of New Hampshire, and Ester Bailey formerly of Arizona.

Michael Graham

Michael Graham, 51, of Smithfield Ave, died Saturday at the Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.
Born in Florida, a son of the late George A. and Shirley (Brightman) Graham.
He had previously been employed as a Steeplejack before retiring due to illness.
He is survived by a son, Joseph M. Paquette of Pawtucket, A sister, Kathy Gorton and her husband Walter of Central Falls, a brother, Gary Furtado of Pawtucket, a granddaughter, Kayla Paquette and several nieces and nephews. Michael is also survived by his girlfriend and caregiver, Gail Hiatt with whom he resided.
Michael was the former longtime companion of Carolyn Paquette of Pawtucket, and the brother of the late Richard Furtado.

Pauline (Bernier) Mayo, 74, passed away peacefully Christmas morning at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence with her children by her side; she had suffered from Parkinson’s disease for many years. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Leo and Yvonne (Lacoste) Bernier, she lived in Central Falls for many years, and previously lived in Orrington and Sherman Mills, Maine.
Pauline was the loving mother of son Dennis Mayo of West Greenwich, daughters Diane Lieske of Richmond, Suzanne Brito and Donna LaBrie, both of Warwick, and Sharon Mayo of Central Falls with whom she resided; brothers Leonel Bernier of Florida, Gerry Bernier of Paxton, MA, and sister Rita Jarest also of Florida; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ernest “Lefty” Bernier, Texas and Cecile “Susie” Tetreault, Lincoln, RI.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, Dec. 29th from 5-8 pm at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, RI. Private burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI. George H. Marion Jr., 74, of Rosemont Terrace, passed Tuesday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lucille “Lu” (Doiron) Marion. They have been married for 48 years.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late George H. Marion Sr. and Yvette (Frechette) Marion. George resided the past 13 years in Lincoln and previously was a longtime Cumberland resident.
He had been employed for 35 years by Tech Industries, now Portala Tech of Woonsocket before retiring.
He was a Korean War Veteran.
Besides his wife he is survived by four sons, David P. Marion of Woonsocket, Alan K. Marion of Cumberland, Daniel T. Marion of Cumberland and Neal R. Marion of Georgetown, Texas. A daughter, Leslie Marion Desjadon, of Ballston Lake, NY. A brother, Paul Marion of Swansea, MA, 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Mahria, Dustin and Matthew Marion, Logan and Sergei Desjadon, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Ambrose Church, 191 School St, Albion at 10am. Virginia A. Weigner, 76, of Liberty St, died Monday at the Summit Commons Nursing Home.
Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Albina (Belisle) Makesh.
She had worked for 10 years at Alcraft of Pawtucket before retiring in 1994.
She is survived by a son, Walter T. Weigner Jr. with whom she resided. Four Daughters, Linda M. Gaffney of Central Falls, Denise King of Cumberland, Margaret Weigner of Lincoln and Kathleen Strom of East Providence.12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Robert H. Weigner and Michael Weigner and grandmother of the late Brandon M. Weigner and William S. King IV who passed on November 9, 2008.
Burial will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery.
