M. MARION MOORE - Pawtucket
M. MARION MOORE, 82, formerly of Stafford Street, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Moore.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Vara (Robinson) Crocker.
Mrs. Moore was a member of Darlington Congregational Church.
She leaves four daughters, Barbara P. Miguel of Lincoln, Lois R. Allsup of Charlestown, Marion E. Rylands of East Freetown, Mass., and Karen W. Bannister of Lincoln; a sister, Ruth Farnsworth of Pawtucket; a brother, Arthur L. Means of Vero Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Boulevard, Providence.

CHRISTOPHER W. LEE - Pawtucket
CHRISTOPHER W. LEE, 74, of 31 Eagle Drive, East Dennis, Mass., a supervisor at Hamilton-Standard for 43 years before retiring in 1984, died Thursday at Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, Mass. He was the husband of Madelyn (Daley) Lee.
Born in Rockville, Conn., he was a son of the late Christopher and Dorothy (McFarland) Lee.
Mr. Lee was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 80 in Enfield, Conn., and VFW Post 10274 in East Dennis. He coached Little League in Enfield and on the Cape. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Cape Church in Brewster, Mass.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Daniel C. Lee of Simsbury, Conn.; two daughters, Linda A. Lee-Bossert of Dennis, Mass., and Candace M. Bassett of Pawtucket; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Bernard's Church. Burial with military honors will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Broad Brook, Conn.

WILLIAM H. "WEBE" COSTELLO - Providence
WILLIAM H. "WEBE" COSTELLO, 47, of Warren Street, formerly of Woburn, Mass., a self-employed carpenter, died last Friday at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston.
Born in Woburn, a son of Harold J. Costello of Sanford, Maine, and Kathleen E. (Harron) Costello of Tewksbury, Mass., he had lived in Woburn before moving to San Francsico, Florida and to Providence in 1990.
Besides his parents, he leaves three brothers, Paul D. Costello of Mesa, Ariz., Robert E. Costello of Woburn and James D. Costello of Providence; three sisters, Linda L. DeVito and Joan R. Marte, both of Lawrence, Mass., and Kathleen A. Tighe of Woburn; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn.

DOROTHY A. GOLDSMITH JANSMA - Providence
DOROTHY A. GOLDSMITH JANSMA, Ph.D., 50, of Worthington, Ohio, director of the Central Ohio Special Education Regional Resource Center (COSERRC), died unexpectedly Thursday at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was the wife of Paul Jansma, Ph.D., a professor at Ohio State University.
Born in Providence, a daughter of James and Marion (Jagolinzer) Goldsmith of Seekonk, she moved to Ohio 15 years ago. She earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of Rhode Island, and her master's degree from the University of Connecticut. In 1982 she was awarded a doctorate in education administration from Ohio State.
An adjunct assistant professor at Ohio State University, and clinical professor at the University of Dayton, she was appointed chairwoman of the Ohio Department of Education Statewide IEP Taskforce, and was a reviewer for University Press of America.
As director of the Resource Center, Mrs. Jansma was responsible for overall planning and implementation of special education resource services in central Ohio. She was a teacher, evaluator, curriculum supervisor and compliance officer in special education. She presented frequently at conferences, including the Ohio Federation Council for Exceptional Children, the Coalition of Essential Schools and the Ohio Conference of Teacher Education Organization. She was an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society, the Northwest Counseling Center's Adult Outreach Program, and many other organizations.
Besides her husband and parents, she leaves a brother, David Goldsmith of Harmony; a sister, Barbara Goldsmith of Barrington; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Temple Beth-El, Orchard Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, Mass.

VIRGINIA C. MILETTA - Providence
VIRGINIA C. MILETTA, of Waller Street, died yesterday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. She was the wife of the late Thomas D. Miletta.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Bartholomew and Angelina (Verdi) Martone.
Mrs. Miletta was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, the Senior Citizens of Blessed Sacrament Church, and the Smithfield Senior Center.
She leaves two daughters, Ann P. Zarrella of Providence, and Virginia M. Peters of Glocester; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Guido Martone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Avenue. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

ANNA R. ANDREWS - Providence
ANNA R. ANDREWS, 68, of 225 Thurbers Ave., died Wednesday at the Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Wilbur A. Andrews.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Mary (Gomes) White, she lived in Providence for 52 years.
She leaves four brothers, Peter Amado of Coventry, Oliver White Jr. of North Providence, Warren Amado of Providence and Wilfred Amado in Georgia; a sister, Deborah White of Providence; a stepdaughter, Cecilia Alves of Wareham, Mass.; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Dianna Cioci.
The funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Bell Funeral Home, 571 Broad St.

ROBERT L. STARKEY - Warren
ROBERT L. STARKEY, 79, of 28 Haile St., a heat treater for Ferguson Wire, Providence, retiring in 1985, died Thursday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Teresa (Galuppo) Starkey. Born in Bristol, a son of the late Henry W. and Isabel (Brechin) Starkey, he lived in Warren most of his life.
He was a World War II Navy veteran. Mr. Starkey was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons.
His wife is his only survivor. He was brother of the late Herbert W., Isabel, Harry P., William and Allan Starkey, and Carolyn Potter.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Bristol.

ALICE E. DiMEZZA - Warwick
ALICE E. DiMEZZA, of Bellevue Avenue, died unexpectedly Wednesday at Kent County Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Alphonse F. DiMezza.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edward F. and Elizabeth (Cullen) McKeon. She moved to Warwick 14 years ago. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Joyce A. Salisbury of Warwick; and a son, Dennis M. DiMezza of Johnston.
She also leaves a sister, Catherine A. Moran of Cranston; a brother, Edward F. McKeon of Warwick; and two grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Mary C. Smith.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the James J. Gallogly & Sons Funeral Home, 671 Broad St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Rose of Lima Church, Main Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

CONRAD P."CONNIE" FAHLMAN - Warwick
CONRAD P."CONNIE" FAHLMAN, 80, of Ticonderoga Drive, director of quality assurance for the industrial products division of Brown and Sharpe Manufacturing Co. where he worked for 45 years before retiring in 1982, died Thursday at Kent County Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Doris B. (Belmont) Fahlman.
Born in Warwick, he was a son of late Claes O. and Gerda (Johnson) Fahlman. A lifelong resident of Warwick, Mr. Fahlman was a World War II Army veteran, serving in the African and European theaters of operation. He was discharged as captain and received the Bronze Star.
He was a member of the Quality Control Association of Rhode Island. He was a member of Greenwood Presbyterian Church, where he was the former superintendent of its Sunday school. He was also an elder and advisor to the Church's youth fellowship and a member of the Church's 39ers Senior Citizens. He was a life member of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department and an avid sailor for 40 years.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Philip A. Fahlman of Robstown, Texas, Peter B. Fahlman of North Kingstown, and Paul C. Fahlman of Warwick; two sisters, Mildred Martin of West Warwick, and Gladys Curtis of Warwick; a half brother, Roland Anderson of Cranston; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was the stepbrother of the late Elmer Anderson.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a service at 10 in Greenwood Presbyterian Church, Main Avenue. Burial with military honors will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Route 5.

ALLEN J. HANEY - Coventry
ALLEN J. HANEY, 65, of Sunset Street, a machinist at Chase Machine Company before retiring in 1992, and former owner of Allen's Restaurant and Caterer in West Warwick, died Thursday at Brentwood Nursing Home, Warwick. He was the husband of the late Ruth E. (Piche) Haney.
Born in Paulsboro, N.J., he was a son of the late Charles and Edith (Wilcox) Haney. Mr. Haney was a Korean War veteran.
He leaves two daughters, Sylvia Haney of Warwick, and Carol Haney-Denton of Coventry; one brother, Kenneth Haney of Melbourne, Fla.; two sisters, Edith Ryan-Gasior of Coventry, and Marie Vedder of Melbourne; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service with military honors will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Frank R. Gorton and Sons, Inc. Funeral Home, 721 Washington St. (Route 117), Coventry. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

ABRAM J. LIPSITZ - Warwick
ABRAM J. LIPSITZ, 88, of 161 Edaville Court, a self-employed CPA and a jewelry manufacturer before moving to Rhode Island in 1974, died yesterday at Kent County Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Areen (Kahn) Lipsitz.
Born in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary (Farbman) Lipsitz.
Mr. Lipsitz was a graduate of Baltimore College of Commerce and Johns Hopkins University.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Richard Lipsitz of North Kingstown, and Glenn Lipsitz of New York City; a sister, Lillian Neviser in Florida; and two grandchildren.
The funeral and burial will be held Monday in Baltimore.
