WILFRID J. LECLAIR SR. - Woonsocket
WILFRID J. LECLAIR SR., 88, formerly of 136 Transit St., a heating-oil vendor and owner of the former Leclair Oil Service for 30 years, retiring in 1971, died yesterday at the Holiday Nursing Home, Lincoln. He was the husband of the late Marie Rose (Cote) Leclair.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Wilfrid J. and Exilda (Robidoux) Leclair.
Mr. Leclair was an Army veteran of World War II.
He leaves a son, Wilfrid J. Leclair Jr. of Matthews, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Pauline Godin of Woonsocket and Jeannette Beauchemin of North Smithfield; a sister, Blanche Berard of Woonsocket; and 20 grandchildren. He was the stepfather of the late Normand Vary.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Avenue. Burial will be in Precious Blood Cemetery.

MANUEL DIAS ALBERT MEDEIROS - Fall River
MANUEL DIAS ALBERT MEDEIROS, 81, of Holly Hill, Fla., also of 70 Lakeside Ave., North Dartmouth, a former construction foreman, died Monday at home in North Dartmouth. He was the husband of Dianne (Gourley) Medeiros and the late Yolanda (Sarti) Medeiros.
Born in Portsmouth, a son of the late Manuel D. and Rose (Denniz) Medeiros, he had lived in Fall River most of his life.
Mr. Medeiros was a construction foreman for many years with various construction companies in the Boston area. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union Local 7 of Boston.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Glenda Ann Medeiros of Boston; a stepdaughter, Theresa Macioce of Ormond Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Helen Raposa of Sunrise, Fla., and Rose Sardella of Newport; and a step-grandson. He was the brother of the late Margaret Cardoza, Anna Almeida, Mary Betty, Joseph Medeiros, Louis Medeiros and Alice Raposa.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. from the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St., Fall River, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 in Holy Rosary Church, Beattie Street, Fall River. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.

GERTRUDE ROGERS - Fall River
GERTRUDE ROGERS, 89, of Beverly Manor Nursing Home, 19 Obery St., Plymouth, Mass., formerly of Fall River, a weaver for many years at the former Fall River Mfg. and the former Borden City Mills, died Tuesday at the home.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late John and Maria (Cabral) Rapoza, she had lived in Fall River most of her life before moving to Plymouth a few years ago.
She leaves a son, James J. Silvia of Arvada, Colo. a sister, Bella Sippen of Fall River; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was mother of the late Larry Rogers Jr.
A graveside service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Robeson Street, Fall River.

ZARO "SALLY" CALU - Cranston
ZARO "SALLY" CALU, of Mayfield Avenue, a saleswoman at the former Pauline's Dress Shop in Garden City, died yesterday at home. She was the wife of the late John Calu.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Martin and Agnes (Tootoonjian) Simonian, she lived in Cranston for 35 years. She had previously been a bookkeeper at Roitman's furniture and a saleswoman at the former Gladdings store.
She was a member of St. Sahag and St. Mesrob Armenian Church, Provi
dence, and was the church organist for 60 years.
She leaves a daughter, Gail Mastrati of Cranston. She was sister of the late Dan Simonian.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., with a service at 10 in St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Armenian Church, Jefferson Street, Providence. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

VINCENT J. "JIMMY" FORTE - Cumberland
VINCENT J. "JIMMY" FORTE, 76, of 23 Chestnut Grove Ave., employed at A. Crugnale Bakery of Providence for 15 years, retiring in 1987, died Monday at the Sunrise Medical Center, Las Vegas, Nev. He was the husband of the late Josephine L. (Mentell) Forte.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Domenic and Vincenza (Sabatino) Forte, he lived in Cumberland for 45 years. Mr. Forte also worked at the Pennacchia Bakery, Providence, and the former Owens Corning Fiberglas Co.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He leaves a son, Michael A. Forte of Cumberland; and a sister, Angie Michelette, and a brother, Pasquale Forte, both of Cranston. He was a brother of the late Michael Forte, Daniel Forte, Rafaela Taglione, Lucy Cunha and Tomasina DeSimone.
The funeral, with military honors, will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd., Route 122, Cumberland, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.

MARY WHITE-VINCENT - East Providence
MARY WHITE-VINCENT, 92, of North County Street died Sunday at the Orchard View Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Antonio B. White and John M. Vincent.
Born in Seekonk, a daughter of the late Jose and Emilia (Maciel) Andrade, she lived in East Providence since 1924. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.
She leaves three daughters, Mary Rossi of Fresno, Calif., Anna Haught of Malin, Ore., and Carol Monteiro of East Providence; four sons, Anthony White of Fresno, Joseph White of East Providence, Lester R. White of Long Beach, Calif., and Francis White of Detroit, Ore.; three brothers, Joseph Gomes Andrade of Stockton, Calif., and Antonio Gomes Andrade and Francisco Gomes Andrade, both of Faial, the Azores; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Maria Emilia Maciel.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

JOAO F. DaSILVEIRA - East Providence
JOAO F. DaSILVEIRA, 86, of 320 Juniper St., a machine operator at American Insulated Wire Co. for 13 years, retiring 24 years ago, died Wednesday at the Waterview Villa Nursing Home. He was the husband of Angelica M. (Branco) DaSilveira.
Born in Praia do Norte, Faial, the Azores, a son of the late Jose F. and Maria A. (Faria) DaSilveira, he lived in East Providence for 36 years.
Mr. DaSilveira was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves four daughters, Maria M. Moitoso, Idalina M. Vieira, Emilia M. Faria and Maria C. Moitoso, all of East Providence; four sons, Manuel M. F. DaSilveira in Faial, Antonio M. DaSilveira of East Providence, Gilbert M. DaSilveira of Pompano Beach, Fla., and John F. DaSilveira of Narragansett; a sister, Maria deCastro of East Providence; three brothers, Estacio Faria in California, and Francisco Faria and Sergio DaSilveira, both in Faial; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

SEVARIO "KELLY" ALLIENELLO - East Providence
SEVARIO "KELLY" ALLIENELLO, 92, of Hull Street, a partner and vice president of East Providence Fuel Oil, retiring in 1965, died yesterday at home. He was the husband of Helen B. (Welch) Allienello.
Born in Rio Nero, Italy, a son of the late Vito and Rosa (Paolino) Allienello, he lived in East Providence most of his life. Mr. Allienello was a communicant of Our Lady of Loreto Church.
He had been a foreman at the former Glenlyn Print Works Co..
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Victor N. Allienello, a daughter, Rosanne Ryan, two sisters, Philomina Alianiello and Jenny DiLucchio, and a brother, Frank Alianiello, all of East Providence; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Pasquale "Pat" and Michele Allienello and Charles Alienello.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in Our Lady of Loreto Church, Waterman Avenue. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

JOHN H. BUSS - Lincoln
JOHN H. BUSS, 87, of Front Street, a sales manager for the former Arnold's Bakery of Lincoln, died Wednesday at home. He was the husband of the late Mary (Stevens) Buss.
Born in Lincoln, a son of the late Henry C. and Susan (Darcy) Buss, he lived in Lincoln most of his life.
He was a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, Cumberland.
He leaves a daughter, Suzanne Mills of Belgrade, Maine; three sons, John H. Buss Jr. and Stephen E. Buss, both of Cumberland, and Joseph F. Buss of Lincoln; a sister, Mary Krueger of Naples, Fla.; a brother, Francis Buss of Gretha, Va.; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was father of the late Francis Buss.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Front Street. Burial will be private.

JULIAN "DEDE" FRANCIS PECKHAM JR. - Middletown
JULIAN "DEDE" FRANCIS PECKHAM JR., 72, of Paradise Avenue, a contractor and owner of Peckham Bros. Co. Inc., died yesterday at home. He was the husband of Jean (MacDonald) Peckham. Mr. and Mrs. Peckham recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Born in Newport, he was a son of the late Julian Francis Peckham Sr. and the late Florence Emily (Smith) Peckham.
Peckham Bros. is a stone quarry and construction company that has been in Mr. Peckham's family since 1852.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, a volunteer firefighter for the Middletown Fire Department from 1945 to 1957 and a charter member of the Middletown Rotary Club, where he was its second president, in 1955 and 1956.
He was active in the Newport County Rifle Club for many years and was a honorary beret colonel in the Newport Artillery Company. He was a founder and chairman of the Middletown Sewer Commission, on which he served for many years.
Mr. Peckham was a member of the Preservation Society of Newport and the Middletown Historical Society. He was a lifelong member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, where he was a trustee. He was recently honored by the Middletown Historical Society for his assistance in the Boyd's Windmill Project.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Nancy Powers of Mansfield, Mass., and Elizabeth P. Wallace of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, Julian F. Peckham III, and a sister, Helen P. Tolderlund, both of Middletown; four grandchildren. He was brother of the late Edna Lyon, Martha Ward Sherman and Edward J. Peckham.
A service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Calvary Methodist Church, corner of Turner and Wyatt Road, Middletown. Burial with military honors will be in Middletown Cemetery.
