KARLEEN M. MANCHESTER - Warwick
KARLEEN M. MANCHESTER, 37, of Curry Place, an inspector for Swarovski Jewelry of Cranston from 1980 to 1987, died Sunday at Women and Infants Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of Robert A. Manchester.
Born in Providence, a daughter of Alain R. and Beverly A. (Rapoza) Normandin of West Warwick, she had lived in Cranston before moving to Warwick 13 years ago. Mrs. Manchester was a baby-sitter for many families in her community.
Besides her husband and parents, she leaves two daughters, Michelle A. Manchester and Katelyn M. Manchester, both at home; and two brothers, Alain R. Normandin Jr. of Palm Coast, Fla., and Brian E. Normandin of Coventry.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. from the Carpenter-Jenks Quaker Lane Chapel, 659 East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Benedict Church, Beach Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.

ANGELINA V. LEVESQUE - West Warwick
ANGELINA V. LEVESQUE, 95, of New London Turnpike, died Monday at the West View Nursing Home. She was the widow of Wilfred G. Levesque.
Born in Canada, a daughter of the late Rudolphe and Marie (Lamothe) Blanchette, she had lived in West Warwick most of her life.
Mrs. Levesque was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of St. John the Baptist Church.
She leaves five sons, Marcel Levesque of West Warwick, Normand Levesque of Ocala, Fla., Julien Levesque of Johnston, Rheal Levesque of Naples, Fla., and Guy Levesque of Cranston; four daughters, Lillian Levesque, Gisele Colozzo and Carmel Baron, all of West Warwick, and Claire Melancon of St. Eugene, Canada; two sisters, Gilberte Ochs and Yvette Desjarlais, both of West Warwick; 30 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Alfred Levesque, grandmother of the late Kevin Colon, and sister of the late Ernest, Edmond, Hector, Julien, Victor, Eva and Sr. Lena Blanchette, and Rose Cloutier.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the R. Potvin & Son Funeral Home, 45 Curson St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. John the Baptist Church, Washington Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

ROMEO P. LAMBERT - Woonsocket
ROMEO P. LAMBERT, 76, of 44 Merida Ave., owner of the former L & L Construction Co. for 14 years before retiring in 1978, died Monday at Landmark Medical Center after being stricken.
Born in St. Cuthbert, Quebec, Canada, a son of the late Oscar and Marie (Turcotte) Lambert, he had lived in Woonsocket most of his life.
Mr. Lambert was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Rhode Island Air National Guard and served during the Berlin Crisis. He was a member of Amvets Post 12, Sad Sacs; Leclair Kozlik, Logan Bassett VFW Post 6342 of Forestdale; and the St. Joseph Veterans Association of Woonsocket. He was a member of the Woonsocket Lodge of Elks 850, the Cercle Laurier and the Par-X Club of Woonsocket.
He was a graduate of the University of Ottawa and attended Rhode Island College and Boston College. He was a member of the Woonsocket Police Commission in 1951, deputy city clerk in 1953, and director of public welfare from 1953-57. He was a youth counselor at the Rhode Island Training School from 1957-58, and assistant superintendent of custody from 1958-59. He was a Vista Volunteer and a member of the Peace Corps.
Mr. Lambert leaves his wife, Edeonne (Desautels) Lambert of Woonsocket; a son, Andre F. Lambert of Harrisville; two daughters, Diane Terranova of Harrisville, and Celeste Beauparlant of Woonsocket; a brother, Jean Paul Lambert of Woonsocket; three sisters, Marie Anna Champagne of Woonsocket, Clara Richards of Blackstone, Mass., and Emelienne Drainville of Glocester; seven grandsons and a great-grandson.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from The Lauzon Memorial, 85 Rathbun St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Ann Church, Cumberland Street. Burial will be in Precious Blood Cemetery.

TAILYCE JADE CAMARA - Woonsocket
TAILYCE JADE CAMARA, of 110 Louise St., infant daughter of Souleymane and Crystal (Cote) Camara, died Friday shortly after birth at Women and Infants Hospital, Providence.
Besides her parents, Tailyce leaves her paternal grandparents, Alioume and Bineta Camara of Senegal; and her maternal grandmother, Anita Cole of Woonsocket.
A graveside service was held yesterday at St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery in Bellingham, Mass.

ANNETTE F. LALIBERTE - Woonsocket
ANNETTE F. LALIBERTE, 84, of 645 Diamond Hill Rd., a winder for the former Masurel Mills for 37 years before retiring in 1976, died yesterday at Landmark Medical Center after an illness.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late James and Rose Anna (Champigny) Laliberte.
Ms. Laliberte leaves a daughter, Muriel C. Dubois, a brother, Normand Laliberte Sr., and two sisters, Cecile Auclair and Rita Sevigny, all of Woonsocket; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Lauzon Memorial, 85 Rathbun St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Louis Church, Rathbun Street. Burial will be in Precious Blood Cemetery.

WILLIAM W. SMITH - Woonsocket
WILLIAM W. SMITH, 60, of 22 Wells St., a warehouse worker for Ames Stores Inc. of Mansfield, Mass., for 15 years before retiring in 1997, died yesterday at Miriam Hospital, Providence, after a long illness.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late William W. and Margaret (Montville) Smith. Mr. Smith was a 1955 graduate of Woonsocket High School.
He leaves a brother, George E. Smith, and a sister, Lillian Pulver, both of Woonsocket. He was a brother of the late Margaret Detannoacourt of Cumberland.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m. from the Kilcline Funeral Home, 304 North Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Charles Church, North Main Street. Burial will follow.

C. ROBERT HUGGINS SR. - Block Island
C. ROBERT HUGGINS SR., 75, of Corn Neck Road, vice president of marketing at Manchester (N.H.) Savings Bank for 17 years before retiring in 1970, and a marketing officer for Manchester (N.H.) Banks for many years before retiring, died Monday at home. He was the husband of Alice (Mott) Huggins.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Charles H. and Beatrice (Doeg) Huggins, he had been a Block Island resident for many years.
Mr. Huggins was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a transport commander, with the rank of captain, in campaigns in Rhineland, Rome-Arno, southern France and the Asia-Pacific Theater. After his military service, he was assistant chief of staff at the Port of New York. From 1950-53 he was a director of the Chamber of Commerce in Manchester. In 1979, he founded, built and operated The Ice Cream Place.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mary Alice Huggins and Susan Huggins, both of New York City and Block Island; two sons, William P. Huggins of Peace Dale and Block Island, and Charles R. Huggins Jr. of Portsmouth and Block Island; a brother, Donald G. Huggins of Block Island and Charlestown; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 4 p.m. in St. Andrews Church, Chapel Street. Private burial will be in the Island Cemetery.

ANITA M. FILION - Burrillville
ANITA M. FILION, 55, of Jackson Schoolhouse Road, Pascoag, former owner-operator of Anita's Book Store for 1 1/2 years before retiring because of illness, died Monday at home. She was the wife of Roland R. Filion.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of Anita (Turgeon) Dufault and the late Raymond C. Dufault, she had lived most of her life in South County before moving to Pascoag five years ago.
Mrs. Filion had been a planner at Electric Boat, Quonset Point, for 15 years before retirng in 1995. She was a recent graduate of the entrepreneurial program at Bryant College. She was a member of Glad Tidings Church.
She leaves a son, Gary C. Cook of Narragansett; three daughters, Lee Ann Cook DeRita of Hope Valley, Tracy L. Cook San Antonio of Pascoag, and Sue Ann Cook Votta of North Providence; a brother, Raymond C. Dufault Jr., and a sister, Barbara Brown, both of Wakefield; and five grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow at noon at Forbes Funeral Home, 28 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.

MARTHA NURI - Central Falls
MARTHA NURI, 78, a stock clerk for the former Coates Field and Warwick Shoppers World before retiring, died yesterday at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of the late Duro Nuri.
Born in New Bedford, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Harry and Lale (Isuf) Dino.
Mrs. Nuri was a member of Lonsdale Baptist Church.
She leaves three sons, Ali Nuri of Cranston, Duro Nuri of Prague, Czechoslovakia, and Donald Nuri in New Hampshire; a daughter, Geraldine Cordeiro of Pawtucket; two brothers, William Dino and Victor Dino, both of Stoughton, Mass.; two sisters, Mary Lenzini in Maryland, and Eva Belgarde of Lincoln; and two granddaughters. She was the sister of the late David Dino.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln, with a service at 10 at Lonsdale Baptist Church, 1570 Lonsdale Ave. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.

CYNTHIA A. (BONES) DAWSON - Cranston
CYNTHIA A. (BONES) DAWSON, 51, of Rose Hill Drive, died Saturday at Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Dorothy Bones, she had lived in Cranston most of her life. Ms. Dawson was a member of the Rhode Island Wild Plant Society and the Butterfly Society of Rhode Island. She was the former treasurer of the Environmental Council of Rhode Island.
She leaves a son, Eric P. Marseglia of New York City; and a daughter, Christine K. Marseglia of Warwick.
A memorial service will be held Friday at noon in Shepherd of the Valley Church, Seven Mile Road, Scituate. Burial will be private.

ROBERT R. GIORGI - Cranston
ROBERT R. GIORGI, 60, of Frankfort Street, a custodian for the Providence School Department for 25 years retiring in 1995, died Monday at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Adolfo and Rachela (Aiello) Giorgi, he had moved to Cranston four years ago.
Mr. Giorgi leaves a brother, Louis Giorgi of Danville, Calif.; a sister, Anna James of San Marcos, Calif.; a niece, Candy Golding of Cranston, with whom he made his home; and several other nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Daniel and Anthony Giorgi.
The funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the Mariani Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Ann Church, Hawkins Street. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Pawtucket.
