EMELDA B. DUCHARME-LEONARD - Providence
EMELDA B. DUCHARME-LEONARD, 99, of Baytower Nursing Center, an assembler for the former Bulova Watch Co. for 20 years before retiring in the early 1950s, died Saturday at the center.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Bruno A. and Rose A. (Morin) Violette, she lived on Waldo Street for 38 years, and on Benedict Street for 15 years. Mrs. Leonard was a member of the Huntington Tower Senior Citizens Club.
She leaves a son, Joseph C. Ducharme of Providence; a sister, Albea Joyce of Anaheim, Calif.; a nephew and two nieces.
The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.

FREDERICK E. WILLIAMS JR. - Providence
FREDERICK E. WILLIAMS JR., 80, of Tenth Street, an assembler at the former Alumaline Co. in Lincoln for 25 years, retiring in 1984, died Sunday at home. He was the husband of Elizabeth J. (Wilcox) Cummings-Williams.
Born in Mt. Pleasant, N.Y., a son of the late Fred E. and Ada deWaeghenaire Williams, he lived in Providence for 25 years.
Mr. Williams studied ballet, danced professionally in ballets in Boston and New York, and later taught ballet and ballroom dancing locally. During World War II, he was a pullman conductor on troop trains.
Besides his wife, he leaves two stepdaughters, Linda Cummings Laxton of Pawtucket and Donna Cummings Gallant of Cupertino, Calif.; four stepsons, Dr. Stephen F. Cummings of Hope Valley, William H. Cummings of Smithfield, Robert L. Cummings of Swansea, and Gary L. Cummings of North Providence; a brother, George R. Williams of Dennisport, Mass.; a sister, Catherine Lindop of Brighton, Mass.; several nieces and nephews; 12 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Elsie Coughlin and Lillian Williams.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery.

AMERICO G. GRANDE - Providence
AMERICO G. GRANDE, 84, of the Carpenters Home Manor, Lakeland, Fla., a sales manager at Nationwide Insurance Co., died Saturday at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Elsie R. Grande.
Born in Lawrence, Mass., a son of the late Rocco and Carmella Grande, he lived in East Providence before moving to Florida many years ago.
Mr. Grande was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lakeland. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, and a member of Zephyr Lodge 198 F&AM, the Scottish Rite Bodies in Tampa, and the Egypt Temple Shrine in Tampa. He was a treasurer of the Florida Care Retirement Home Association.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Robert W. Grande of New Hartford, Conn., and David G. Grande of Clinton, Conn.; a brother, John Grande of East Greenwich; three sisters, Delia Peters of Columbia, Md., Theresa Giunta of North Providence, and Frances Fera of Providence; and four grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Gus Grande and Anthony Grande.
A memorial service was held yesterday.

HENRY RECORVITS - Rehoboth
HENRY RECORVITS, 85, of Barney Avenue, died Sunday at Harris Health Care Center in East Providence. He was the husband of Helen C. (Medeiros) Recorvits.
Born in Lincoln, a son of the late Joseph and Rose (Lessar) Recorvits, he moved to Rehoboth 28 years ago.
Mr. Recorvits leaves his wife. He was a brother of the late Anna Enowich, Mary Castello, Margaret Haddad and Michael Recorvits.
The funeral and burial will be private.

SAMUEL S. MOON - Scituate
SAMUEL S. MOON, 96, formerly of Peeptoad Road, an employee of Contract Specialties, Johnston, for four years, retiring in 1980, died Sunday at Brentwood Nursing Home, Warwick. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth V. (Glynn) Moon.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Albert A. and Ruth A. (Smith) Moon, he had lived in Scituate for many years.
Mr. Moon had also worked at Trifari Krussman Fisher Inc., East Providence, and the former Liberty Tool Co., Providence, for many years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Elks, and the Rhode Island Yacht Club.
He leaves a son, Samuel T. Moon of Providence, and a daughter, Elizabeth A. Moon of Cranston. He was father of the late Frank Moon.
The funeral will be private.

MARIE M. WHITE - Cranston
MARIE M. WHITE, 75, of D'Evan Manor, 1214 Cranston St., an employee in the packaging department of Catamore Jewelry Co. for four years before retiring in 1984, died Sunday at the home of her daughter in West Warwick. She was the wife of the late Clifford R. White.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late George L. and Annie M. (Bannon) Merritt, she moved to Cranston 30 years ago. Mrs. White was a member of the D'Evan Manor Seniors Association.
She leaves a daughter, Christine M. Proulx of West Warwick. She was a sister of the late Charles and Raymond Merritt, and Catherine Devine.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Road. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

LAWRENCE CROMPTON - Scituate
LAWRENCE CROMPTON, 78, of Oak Crest Manor, Chopmist Hill Road, an employee at the John E. Fogarty Center, Providence, died Saturday at the manor.
Mr. Crompton had lived at Oak Crest Manor for 33 years. He had also worked as a chicken farmer in Foster. He was an avid sports fan, and he bowled in the John E. Fogarty Bowling League. He was a devoted member of the Faith Tabernacle Church for 25 years.

ALBERT R. LEVESQUE - Tiverton
ALBERT R. LEVESQUE, 72, of East Beardsworth Road, terminal manager at the former Green/Bowler Moving Co. in Fall River for 45 years before retiring, died Sunday at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. He was the husband of the late Fleurette G. (Dufresne) Levesque.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Antone and Bernadette (Singster) Levesque, he moved to Tiverton 25 years ago.
Mr. Levesque was a member of Holy Ghost Parish, and a former member of St. Anne's Parish in Fall River. He was a Marine Corps veteran of both World War II and the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion.
He leaves a son, Wayne G. Levesque of Portsmouth; a daughter, Darlene Zielinski of Tiverton; a brother, Louis Levesque; and five grandchildren.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, South Main Street, Fall River. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.

AMANDA ERIN DULUDE - Warwick
AMANDA ERIN DULUDE, 21/2, of Point Avenue, died suddenly Sunday at home.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Paul J. Dulude Sr. of Foster, and Misty M. Scott, with whom she lived.
Besides her parents, she leaves her brother, Paul J. Dulude Jr., and two sisters, Joan M. Scott and Brittany V. Scott, all at home; her paternal grandmother, Joyce Sartini of Pawtucket; and her maternal great-grandparents, Henry and Marjorie McCarthy of East Providence. She was the maternal granddaughter of the late Joan P. McCarthy, and the paternal granddaughter of the late John Sartini.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will follow.

VERONICA A. PIRES - Warwick
VERONICA A. PIRES, 62, of Elmwood Avenue, died Saturday at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late James and Amelia (Mercier) Brothers, and had lived in Providence most of her life before moving to Warwick a year ago.
She leaves a daughter, Norma J. Pine of Providence; three sons, Thomas Gattone of Cranston, and James Wendoloski and Vincent Wendoloski of Providence; four sisters, Helen Marcello of Coventry, Mary Pafume of East Providence, Irene Sweeney of North Providence, and Anna McCormick of Warwick; and 10 grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Diane L. Lambino and the sister of the late James and Joseph Brothers, Mildred Carvalho, Louise Law and Gloria J. Villani.
Her funeral will be tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence.

KARLEEN M. MANCHESTER - Warwick
KARLEEN M. MANCHESTER, 37, of Curry Place, an inspector for Swarovski Jewelry of Cranston from 1980 to 1987, died Sunday at Women and Infants Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of Roger A. Manchester.
Born in Providence, a daughter of Alain R. and Beverly A. (Rapoza) Normandin of West Warwick, she had lived in Cranston before moving to Warwick 13 years ago. Mrs. Manchester was a baby-sitter for many families in her community.
Besides her husband and parents, she leaves two daughters, Michelle A. Manchester and Katelyn M. Manchester, both at home; and two brothers, Alain R. Normandin Jr. of Palm Coast, Fla., and Brian E. Normandin of Coventry.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the Carpenter-Jenks Quaker Lane Chapel, 659 East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Benedict Church, Beach Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
