WALTER F. JAMESON - Cumberland
WALTER F. JAMESON, 76, of 2065 Mendon Rd., a parts manager at the former Goldman Dodge of South Attleboro for 20 years before retiring in 1981, died Tuesday in Veterans Administration Medical Center, Providence. He was the husband of Gertrude (St. Onge) Jameson.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Maurice and Medora (Gauvin) Jameson.
Mr. Jameson was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Eugene T. Lefebvre Post 1271, VFW, the Military Order of Cooties, both of Central Falls, and a member of Redman Chapter, DAV.
He was also a volunteer with the Darlington Little League bingo games for many years.
He was a member of Barney Merry Lodge 29, a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite of Providence, and a member of the Palestine Shrine of Providence.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Walter E. "Skip" Jameson of Fort Myers, Fla., Kenneth R. Jameson of Pawtucket, and Ronald R. Jameson of Warwick; two sisters, Lena Welch of Jacksonville, Fla., and Doris Wilkinson of Louisville, N.C.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Paul Jameson.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the Mortuary of L. Heroux and Son, 20 Ledge St., Central Falls, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Notre Dame Church, Broad Street, Central Falls. Burial, with military honors, will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

THERESA B. LAUZON - Cumberland
THERESA B. LAUZON, 69, of 2065 Mendon Rd., Chimney Hill Apartments, a nurses' aide for the Visiting Nurse Service of Greater Woonsocket for two years, retiring in 1972 due to illness, died Tuesday at home. She was the wife of Bertrand V. Lauzon.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Euclide Theriac and Anna (Beaulieu) Theriac, she lived in Cumberland for 11 years, previously living in Woonsocket.
She previously worked as a nurses' aide at St. Joseph Hospital in Providence for two years, and as a stitcher at the former Woonsocket Falls Co. of Woonsocket for 10 years.
Mrs. Lauzon was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Cumberland. She was a member and past president of the Chimney Hill Senior Citizens for four years, and a former member of the Holy Family Choir of Woonsocket.
She leaves a son, Russell Lauzon of Woonsocket.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Lauzon Memorial, 85 Rathbun St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m in the historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass.

JERRY A. SOUZA - Dighton
JERRY A. SOUZA, 66, of 979 Oak St., an employee at Honey Dew Doughnuts in Seekonk for two years before retiring four years ago, died yesterday at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the wife of Alfred J. Souza Sr.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Gerald and Bertha (Sylvester) St. Gelais, she lived in North Dighton for 18 years.
Mrs. Souza was previously employed at Blackstone Webbing Co. in Pawtucket for 17 years.
Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Margaret Hendon of Pawtucket, Alice George of Rumford, and Ann Horton of North Dighton; a son, Alfred J. Souza Jr., of West Warwick; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence. Burial will be in Rehoboth Village Cemetery, Rehoboth.

MANUEL J. ANDREA - East Providence
MANUEL J. ANDREA, 73, of Wheldon Avenue, formerly of Wickenden Street, Providence, a security officer for several years before retiring in 1983 due to illness, died Tuesday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary (Fidalgo) Andrea.
Born in Cranston, a son of the late Manuel and Mary (Lima Carvalho) Andrade, he lived in Providence before moving to East Providence five years ago.
He leaves a son, Michael E. Andrea of Pawtucket; two daughters, Maureen Simonelli of Johnston and Janice O'Shea of Central Falls; three sisters, Mary Fratus of East Providence, Angie Figueiredo in Pennsylvania, and Anna Silva of Providence; four brothers, Anthony Andrea of Cranston, Michael Andrea Sr., of Providence, Frank Andrade of Warwick, and John Andrews of East Providence; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Rosetta Giramma and Joseph Andrade.
The funeral service will be private.

ELPHEGE F. ADAMS - East Providence
ELPHEGE F. ADAMS, 85, of Washburn Avenue, a weaver in textile mills before retiring 20 years ago from Cadillac Textile Mill in Central Falls, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. He was the husband of the late Mary E. (Heffernan) Adams.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Elphege and Evelina (Patenaude) Adams, he lived in Rumford for 50 years.
Mr. Adams was a member of Rumford Council Knights of Columbus, the VFW, and the American Legion in East Providence. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, and a member of the Rumford Senior Center.
He leaves two daughters, Sheila M. Rybak of Barrington, and Ann-Marie Woodside of Seekonk; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Monahan-Kelly Drabble-Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Margaret Church, Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

MARY L. MORAN - Providence
MARY L. MORAN, of River Avenue, a retired Providence school teacher, died yesterday at the Heritage Hills Nursing Center in Smithfield.
A lifelong Providence resident, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Elizabeth (Blessing) Moran.
She had taught at the Ruggles School in Providence for most of her 32-year career. She retired in 1960. She was a graduate of the former Rhode Island College of Education, now Rhode Island College.
She was a member of St. Xavier Academy Alumnae Association, the Rhode Island College Alumnae Association and the Rhode Island Federation of Retired Teachers.
She was a communicant of St. Pius V Church in Providence and a member of its Rosary and Altar Society and Club Domenicana.
She was also a member of the East Providence Senior Citizens.
She leaves several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Dr. James B. Moran, John H. Moran and Jane E. Moran.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 9 a.m from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius V Church, Eaton Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.

MARY L. SHARP, 76, of Judson Avenue, Mystic, Conn., died Tuesday at the Mary Elizabeth Nursing Home in Mystic. She was the wife of Lloyd M. Sharp.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Nora (Hayes) Hutzli.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Donald L. Sharp of Charlotte, Vt.; a sister, Frieda V. Sprito of Providence; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be private.

PATRICIA WRIGHT of 1715 Prince Albert Drive, Greensboro, N.C., died Monday at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. She was the wife of Robert A. Wright.
Mrs. Wright was born in Providence.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Timothy S. Wright of Virginia Beach, Va.; two daughters, Roberta C. Toshumba of Thomasville, N.C., and Felicia A. Wright of Greensboro; three sisters, Willielmina C. Stewart of Vallejo, Calif., Josephine G. Edwards of Milton, Mass., and Nadine L. Johnson of Warwick; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral and burial will be in Greensboro, N.C.

EVELYN M. AVERY of 19 Blanchard Ave. - Warwick
EVELYN M. AVERY of 19 Blanchard Ave., a retired worker in the payroll department for the state of Rhode Island, died Monday at home.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Murphy) Avery, she had lived in Warwick for more than 50 years.
She leaves three brothers, Frank Avery of St. Petersburg, Fla., Warren Avery of Hartford, Conn., and Norman Avery of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and a sister, Alice Lyle of Birmingham, Ala. She was a sister of the late Irvin Avery.
The funeral service was private. A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced.

JOHN P. CONNOLLY - Warwick
JOHN P. CONNOLLY, 49, of Country Club Drive, an insurance salesman for Allstate, died Wednesday at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Lawrence and Anna C. (Curley) Connolly, he had lived in Warwick for many years.
Mr. Connolly had previously worked in sales at Sears Roebuck & Co. for 30 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Paul Council, and the Pawtuxet Athletic Club.
He was a graduate of the Community College of Rhode Island. Mr. Connolly was a communicant and Eucharistic minister at St. Peter Church, and had taught CCD at St. Peter School.
He leaves two daughters, Dawn Marie and Tara, and a son, John L., all of Warwick; and two sisters, Maureen A. Petrocchi of Johnston and Joan E. Veltri of East Greenwich. He was the fiance of Margaret A. Clark of Warwick.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Home, 1895 Broad St., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Raymond Church, North Main Street, Providence, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
