Stouch
Fredric and Rosemarie Stouch of Mount Wolf celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 18, 2003.
They were married at Faith United Church of Christ by the Revs. Norman Ort and Albert Robinson.
A family dinner, given by their daughter, was held at Friendly Farms in Mount Carmel, Md.
Fredric is the son of the late Stewart and Esther Stouch. He is retired from Topflight Corp.
Rosemarie is the daughter of the late Edward and Miriam Gallagher. She is retired from Weis Markets.
They have a daughter, Linda Raffensberger, of York.
They have two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Trout
George and Frances “Chi Chi” Trout of 33 N. Manheim St., York, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 26, 2003.
They were married at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in York by the Rev. Daniel Mahoney.
A surprise dinner, given by their children, was held Nov. 28 at the Accomac Inn.
George is the son of the late George and Helen Trout. He is retired from WORK Radio, Memorial Hospital and York County government.
Frances is the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy Grignano. She is retired from The Bon Ton.
They have six children: Lisa of Orlando, Fla.; George Jr. of Springfield; Matthew of Arlington, Va.; and Beth, Jason and Gretchen, all of York. They have three grandchildren.
Zimmerman
William H. and Lorraine Sue Zimmerman of York celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary with a dinner.
They were married in Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Harold Crouse on June 19, 1948.
William retired from D.N. Wolfe. Lorraine retired from Spurg’s Restaurant.
They have two daughters, Susan Bortner and Tina Beckley, both of York; a son, William Zimmerman of York; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Donnelly
Dolores and Thomas Donnelly of York celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner given by their children at The Embers restaurant. They also took a trip to New York City, followed by a gathering with friends and family.
They were married in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Brooklyn, N.Y., by the Rev. R.J. Cummings on May 16, 1954.
Thomas retired from AMF.
Dolores retired from York College.
They have three daughters, Lorraine Rauch, Patricia Roth and Maureen Garrett, all of York; three sons, Thomas Donnelly, William Donnelly and Sean Donnelly, all of York; and 10 grandchildren.

Earl and Eleanor Confair of York celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party hosted by their children at Jacobus Fire Hall.
They were married at Ball Mills Lutheran Church, Ball Mills, on April 22, 1954.
Earl is the son of the late Ortha and William Confair. He is a transporter at York Hospital and is a retired truck driver.
Eleanor is the daughter of the late Ester and Gordon Swank. She is an assistant manager at Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzels.
They have three daughters, Luann Coleman of Huntingdon; Wilma Payne of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; and Wanda Griffith of Columbia, S.C.; a son, Wade Confair of Dover; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Godfrey
Laverne and Doris Godfrey of Red Lion celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party hosted by their children at the Moose Lodge.
They were married in St. Joseph’s Church, Dallastown, by the Rev. Joseph Browne on May 1, 1954.
Laverne is the son of Beatrice Godfrey of York and the late Elmer Godfrey Sr. He retired from York Graphic Services.
Doris is the daughter of the late Albert and Lottie Herbst. She is self-employed selling Avon products.
They have two daughters, Lori Golihew and Susan Godfrey, both of Red Lion; two sons, Jeffrey Godfrey of Red Lion and the late Christopher Godfrey; and eight grandchildren.

Foster and Edna Trout of Stewartstown celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a party at their residence, hosted by their children.
They were married in Whiteford, Md., on May 4, 1939.
Foster is the son of the late Carrie and Foster Trout. He retired from PennDOT.
Edna is the daughter of the late Edith and Harry Krick. She is a housewife.
They have three daughters, Joan Kohler of Red Lion, Judy Mundis of Felton and Joyce Measley of Stewartstown; one son, the late Larry Trout; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Kotek
Jerry and Florence Kotek of York Township celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and champagne toast given by their children at Harrigan’s restaurant.
They were married at St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church, Little Ferry, N.J., on April 24, 1954.
Jerry is the son of the late Josephine and Frank Kotek. He retired from York International.
Florence is the daughter of the late Susana and Nicholas Matich. She is a homemaker.
