HARRY WRHEL
Harry Wrhel, 59, of Swoyersville, died Friday at his home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Swoyersville, he was the son of the late John and Helen Orchak Wrhel.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Luzerne. He was a member and past president of the Eight Point Buck Club, Dutch Mountain Road in Colley Township.
He was employed by Acme Markets as a truck driver and warehouse worker for 27 years.
Surviving are his wife, the former Irene Marstell; sons , John, Swoyersville; Joseph, Bloomingdale; daughters , Mary and Nancy, both of Edwardsville; two grandsons; and a canine companion, Buddy.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Lehman-Gregory Funeral Home, Inc., 281 Chapel St., Swoyersville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Luzerne.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in the Carverton section of Kingston Township.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. A Wake Service will be conducted Monday evening.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice St. John, 1007 Oak St., Pittston Township.
WRIGHT, HELEN
August 21, 1999
Helen P. (Yeager) Wright, of East Luzerne Avenue in Larksville, died Saturday at her home, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine Yeager.
She resided in New Jersey for 25 years before moving to Larksville in 1984.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing and was formerly employed at River Street Manor and Bayda Nursing Service of Kingston, before retiring five years ago.
She was a U.S. Army nurse during World War II, assigned to the 236th General Hospital in France and at the Regional Hospital at Camp Blanding in Florida.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Larksville and the Larksville American Legion Post 655.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; brothers and sisters .
Surviving are her son, William Jr., Wyoming; daughters , Kathleen Barsh and Helen Wright, both of Larksville; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1 Wilson St., Larksville.
Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery in Pringle.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Community Care.
WYDOTIS, HELEN
October 28, 1999
Helen Joan Wydotis, 82, formerly of Miner Avenue, Wanamie, Newport Township, died Thursday at the Hampton House, Sans Souci Parkway, Hanover Township.
Born Oct. 17, 1917, in Murray, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late Michael and Amelia (Yaksta) Lochinis.
She attended West Virginia schools.
She was a resident of Wanamie most of her life and was employed by the Duplan silk mill and the General Cigar Company as a machine operator, retiring in 1979.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Wanamie and the Christian Mothers Society.
She was a church worker and helped her husband Leonard with the maintenance of the church.
She also helped with church dinners and bazaars.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Leonard W.; a daughter, Dolores Young; and a sister, Mildred Gause.
Surviving are a son, Leonard E. Wydotis, Brooksville, Fla.; sisters , Anna Ganarias, Valley Stream, N.Y.; Evelyn Schultz, East Meadow, N.Y.; Della Gartner, Independence, Mo.; and Jenny Ahrens, Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., Glen Lyon, Newport Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Wanamie.
Interment will be in the parish Cemetery, Wanamie.

Edward Yanulewicz
April 16, 1998
Edward Yanulewicz, 82, of RD 3, Wapwallopen, died Thursday at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Glen Lyon, he was son of the late Stanley and Antoinette Yanulewicz.
He served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
He owned and operated Eddie's Radio & TV Repair in Wallington, N.J. for many years.
He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Glen Lyon.
Surviving are his brother, Chester; sister, Helen; companion of many years, Mary Chado.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from the Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home, 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Adalbert's Church, Glen Lyon.
Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

MAGDALENE YEAGLE
Magdalene C. (Letowt) Yeagle, formerly of Lehigh Avenue, Frackville, and Hazleton, and recent guest of Carpenter Care Center, Tunkhannock, died Saturday at the Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock.
Born Nov. 25, 1913, in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Zigmont and Valerie Kobettiski Letowt.
She and her husband, Edward Yeagle, were the owners of Miles Flower Shop, Frackville.
She was a member of St. Ann's Church, Frackville, and the Union of Polish American Women.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1985; brothers , Bernard and Frank Letowt, Zigmont Letowt Jr.; and sister, Genevieve Yalch.
Surviving are her brothers , Alvin and Leo Letowt, both of Bethlehem; sister, Helen Forte, Tunkhannock; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Nativity B.V.M. Church, Tunkhannock.
Interment will be in Skyview Memorial Park, Tamaqua, on a date to be announced.
Arrangements are by the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.
YEDLOCK, GEORGE
August 10, 1999
George J. Yedlock, formerly of Old Ashley Road in Wilkes-Barre Township and Abbott Street in Plains Township died Tuesday at Balanced Care Nursing Center in Kingston.
Born March 12, 1912, in Wilkes-Barre Township, he was a son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Lutito) Yedlock. He attended St. Mary's Polish School in Wilkes-Barre.
He had been employed in the area coal mines for many years. He also worked for many years as a laborer with Laborers Union Local 215 in Wilkes-Barre, retiring in 1974.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Friary in Wilkes-Barre Township.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Anderscavage; sisters , Sister M. Benigna and Ann O'Conner; and brothers , Ralph, Joseph, Frank and Stanley.
Surviving are his daughter, Judith Wender, Plains Township; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Friary. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
