Witkosky, Bennie

Bennie J. "Ben" Witkosky, 71, of Yardley, died Feb. 28 at Temple Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol Township.
Born Aug. 27, 1928, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Nellie Witkoski, of Plymouth. He attended Plymouth High School and was a graduate of Valley Forge military Academy. He was a resident of Lower Bucks County for 43 years.
Before retiring in July, 1999, he was the owner/operator of Ben's Deli, Morrisville, for more than 40 years. He was a member of St. Ignatius R.C. Church, Yardley.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Koval Witkosky; sons , Bernard J., Tokyo; Anthony, Morrisville; Martin P., Yardley; daughter, Louise E. Salinas, Levittown; brother, Edmund Witkoski, Ashley; sisters , Florence and Anna Witkoski and Rita Chervy, all of Plymouth; Lucille Teno, Enfield, N.H.; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday in Yardley.
WITKOWSKI, KEVIN

Kevin M. Witkowski, 25, of East Northampton Street in Wilkes-Barre died Tuesday from injuries sustained in an automobile crash.
Born May 18, 1974, in Hackensack, N.J., he was the son of Robert C. Witkowski and Barbara-Ann O'Connor Reggie.
For the past seven years, he was employed at Gratefully Yours in Wilkes-Barre. He was to start Luzerne Community College in the fall.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his sister, Elizabeth-Ann M. Witkowski, Kingston Township; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Lehman-Gregory Funeral Home, Inc., 281 Chapel St., Swoyersville. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery in the Carverton section of Kingston Township.

WOJCIK, ANN

Mrs. Ann Fedor Wojcik, 82, a former resident of Madison Street in the North End section of Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, with whom she resided for six years, after a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 9, 1917, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Dorko Fedor. She was a member of the Sacred Heart/St. John's Parish Community of North Wilkes-Barre, and was educated in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Slovak School.
Until her retirement, Mrs. Wojcik was banquet director for the former Master Hosts Inn in Wilkes-Barre. Prior to that, she was a receptionist for the Children's Show of Philadelphia. Donating much of her time to worthy organizations, she was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen, Jackson Street, Wilkes-Barre, for several years.
She was the fifth and tenth president of the Sacred Heart School Parent and Teacher's Association. Mrs. Wojcik was a member of the Lani Post, the North End Tax Payers Association, the Sacred Heart Altar and Rosary Society, and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and was a member and past president of the North End Senior Citizens Association.
She was predeceased by her husband, Mr. Michael A. Wojcik, on Nov. 5, 1969, and by brothers , John, Leo, Andrew Jr., Edward, Albert, Daniel and Joseph Fedor; and by sisters , Mrs. Eleanor Fedor Nerbecky and Mrs. Margaret Fedor Nerbon.
Surviving are daughters , Mrs. Jack (Donna) M. Delaney, with whom she resided; and Mrs. David (Mary Ann) King, of Arden, N.C.; grandchildren, Mr. Michael Delaney and Miss Lora Delaney, both of Wilkes-Barre; Miss Tanya King, Raleigh, N.C.; and Mr. Kevin King, British Columbia, Canada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wojcik will be conducted on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the John V. Morris Funeral Home, 625 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Monsignor John J. Sempa, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the parish Cemetery, Dallas.
Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Vigil Service will be conducted Friday evening at the funeral home.

WOLFE, PAUL

Paul H. Wolfe, 85, of Harveys Lake, formerly of Wyomissing Hills, died Tuesday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born April 4, 1914, in Lebanon County, he was the son of the late William and Sadie Wolfe.
He retired from Narrow Fabric Industries, Inc., in West Reading.
He was a member of West Wyomissing Chapel in West Reading, and was a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge 62 in West Reading.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June A. Wolfe.
Surviving are his son, Larry, of Kingston, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday from Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Interment will be in Kimmerling's Cemetery in Lebanon.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services Saturday.
Masonic services will be conducted at 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
Womelsdorf, Ryan

Ryan R. Womelsdorf, 21, of Wapwallopen RR 1, Conyngham Township, died Sunday.
Born July 28, 1978, in Berwick, he was the son of Wayne and Lorraine Sklaney Womelsdorf.
He was a graduate of Crestwood High School and Baron's Automotive Institute in Connecticut.
He was employed as a forklift operator for the Phillips Corporation in Mountaintop.
He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Dorrance and the American Motorcycle Association.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his son Brandon, Mountaintop; sisters , Renee Ross, Alden, Newport Township; Rochelle Scholl, Slocum Township; brothers , Ronald Ridzon and Randy Womelsdorf, both at home; his paternal grandmother, Irene Womelsdorf, Wapwallopen; aunts and uncles; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home, 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Dorrance.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Dorrance.

Woods, Lawrence

Lawrence E. "Larry" Woods, 65, of Wyoming Street, North End section of Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Leo and Nell (Siscoski) Woods. He attended Wilkes-Barre schools, graduated from the former Marymount High School, Wilkes-Barre, and attended King's College and Wilkes University. He was a member of the Sacred Heart-St. John's Parish Community, North Wilkes-Barre, where he was a lector and member of the Holy Name Society and Senior Choir. He was a former member of the Serra Club, Wilkes-Barre. He retired from the U.S. Air Force, having served as a radio-television specialist in the Vietnam War. He previously worked for WNAK in Nanticoke as an on-air personality.
Surviving are his wife, the former Nancy Toole, with whom he celebrated 46 years of marriage June 5; sons , Robert, Potomac, Md.; and Paul, Plains Township; daughter, Eileen Caffry, Fairfield, Conn.; five grandsons, one granddaughter, several nephews and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his brothers , Leo and Thomas; and grandson, Jason Woods.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the John V. Morris Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre, Monsignor John J. Sempa officiating. Interment will be in Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Wyoming. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. David Alexander Woods, 39, of Luzerne, died Saturday due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Forty Fort, he was a son of Joan M. Dennis and the late Thomas E. Woods.
He was a 1978 graduate of Bishop O'Reilly High School.
He worked for Trader Tom's Port, Wilkes-Barre, and Van-Heusen Direct, Hershey.
He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Jr.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 12 years, the former Judith Skibitsky; maternal grandmother, Genevieve Dennis, Kingston; sister, Judyth Barbose, Tampa, Fla.; brother, Neal, Mountaintop; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home Inc., 568 Bennett St., Luzerne, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Parish at St. Ann's Church, with the Rev. Robert Arnold officiating.
Interment will be in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
