DONALD RAUH
Donald L. Rauh, 71, of Murray Street, Forty Fort died Saturday at his home.
Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late John and Mary Thomas Rauh.
He attended Kingston High School and served in the Merchant Marines.
He resided on Murray Street, Forty Fort, for the past 41 years.
Before his retirement in 1984 he was employed as a truck driver for Friedman Express, Dorrance, for 35 years.
He was a member of King David Lodge #763, F & AM, Kingston, and Teamsters Local Union #401, Wilkes-Barre.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Claire Brokenshire Rauh, on Dec. 25, 1987.
Surviving are his daughters , Donna Cocking, West Wyoming; Joan Rukstalis and Marsha Evans, both of Forty Fort; son, Marshall T. Rauh, New Jersey; sister, Dorothy Shulzitski, Swoyersville; brothers , Wesley Rauh, Garden Grove, Calif.; James Rauh, West Wyoming; Paul Rauh, Kingston Township; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday from the Hugh B. Hughes & Son, Inc., Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. Carol E. Coleman, pastor of the Luzerne United Methodist Church, officiating.
Friends may call from noon until the time of service Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Robert Rauner

Robert C. Rauner of Riley Street, Old Forge, formerly of Springbrook Avenue, Moosic, died Tuesday at the Mercy Hospital, Scranton.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Peter and Catherine Werner Rauner.
He settled in Old Forge 15 months ago.
He was a 1928 graduate of the former Moosic High School and received a degree in accounting from the former Buckley College in Harrisburg.
Before his retirement, he was employed as a social worker for the Pennsylvania State Department of Welfare. Before that, he was the owner and operator of the Greyhound Bus Terminal in Wilkes-Barre. He was also employed as an accountant for the Greyhound Corporation.
He was a member of the Moosic Lodge F&AM and a former member and treasurer of the Moosic Lions Club.
He was a member of the Moosic Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Moosic.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doretta O. Billington Rauner, in 1994; a great-great-grandson, Mark A. Ferrett; eight brothers and sisters .
Surviving are daughters , Roberta Ferrett, R.N., with whom he resided; Muriel Smailes, Springbrook; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main St., Old Forge, with services by the Rev. Dr. Susan J. Ezell, pastor of the Moosic Presbyterian Church, Moosic.
Interment will be in Marcy Cemetery, Duryea.

Rava, Edward

Edward M. Rava, 73, of Cone Road, Leyden, N.Y., died Jan. 22 at his home.
Born Dec. 2, 1926, in Duryea, he was a son of the late Stanley and Stella (Lovendowski) Rava. He attended Duryea High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the Mediterranean Theater. He worked at the Gould Paper Co., Lyons Falls, N.Y. He later worked for the Leyden Highway Department and owned and operated a farm for 35 years. In 1983, he moved to a homestead farm and retired from his dairy farm several years ago.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Elks Lodge, all in Boonville; the Assessors of the Town of Leyden; the Board of Directors of the Boonville Farmers Cooperative; and the United Polka League of Mohawk Valley.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Charlotte; daughters , Deborah Hopps, Austin, Texas ; Denise Hawk, Umatilla, Fla.; Diane Rava, Atlanta; and Dawn Ernst, Boonville; seven grandchildren; brothers , Paul and Alfred, both of Duryea; Pete, Nanticoke; John, Duryea; and Leon, Oriskany, N.Y.; sisters , Dorothy Hizny, West Wyoming; Mary Ann Tigue, Avoca; and Theresa Salidas, Duryea.
He was preceded in death by brothers , Joseph, Frank, Stanley, Jr., and Charles; and sisters , Josephine, Anna, Stella and Helen.
Funeral services were from the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., and St. Joseph's Church, both in Boonville. Spring interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boonville.
Raykovitz, John
February 28, 2000
John T. Raykovitz, of Oaklyn, N.J., died Feb. 28 at home.
Born June 5, 1926, he was a son of the late John T. and Mary (Geffert) Raykovitz. He was a graduate of Kingston High School and attended Wilkes University. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving aboard the USS Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his brothers , Frank and Raymond.
Surviving are his wife, Stella J. (Nawrocki) Raykovitz; brothers , Stanley, Yardley; and Bernard, Bristol, Tenn.; sisters , Rita Galanti, Glendale, Calif.; Helen Bolacker, Hudson; and Mary Williams, Kingston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday in Oaklyn.
REBENNACK, WILHELMINA

Wilhelmina Rebennack, 91, of Hi-Meadows Apartments in Dallas died Tuesday at her home.
Born in Larksville, she was the daughter of the late August and Anna (Underkite) Walters.
She was a graduate of Lehman Township schools and the Chicago School of Nursing.
She resided in Loyalville for many years before moving to Dallas 11 years ago.
Before retiring, she was self-employed as a private duty nurse.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Shavertown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl T.; brother, Albert; and sister, Ruth Shouldice.
Surviving are her son, Albert J., Arnold, Md.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, August, Dallas; and sisters , Anna Covert, Shavertown; Edith Martin, Plantsville, Conn.; Emma Matthews, Plainville, Conn.; Bertha Ehret, Lehman Township; and Margaret Robertson, Forestville, Conn.
Private funeral services will be conducted from the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 672 Memorial Highway, Dallas. The Rev. Charles Grube, of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park in Dallas.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
Rebovich, John

John Rebovich, 67, of Webster Street, Pittston, died Monday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township.
Born March 31, 1932, in Pittston, he was a son of the late Stephen and Anna (Prebish) Rebovich.
He was a 1951 graduate of Pittston High School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
Before his retirement, he was employed at Celotex Corp., Harding, Exeter Township.
He was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Pittston.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew; and sister, Helen Rebovich.
Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Liskosky; son, David, Eynon; daughter, Donna Dudish, Pittston; sisters , Catherine Gima, Sophie Kridlo and Anna Rebovich, all of Pittston; and Sue Chismar, Exeter; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home, 134 Church St., Pittston, with a Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Pittston.
Interment will be in the parish Cemetery, Pittston.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Parastas services will be at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Robert Kemeter officiating.
Redline, Frank

Frank A. Redline, a former resident of the Wyoming Valley, died Friday in San Diego, following an illness.
Funeral arrangements are pending from the H. Merritt Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 451 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
FRANCIS REGAN

Francis I. "Pete" Regan, of Duryea died Tuesday at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Oak Bluffs-Martha's Vineyard, Mass., he was a son of the late Peter and Mary (Mills) Regan.
He was a graduate of Oak Bluffs High School.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, retiring as a staff sergeant. He served during the
Korean War and the Vietnam Era. He was employed at Tobyhanna Army Depot before his retirement.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Duryea, the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion Post 585 in Duryea, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1227 in Duryea and numerous Korean and Vietnam organizations.
He resided in Duryea for most of his life.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jane Kojtek; son, Kevin; brother, Peter, Martha's Vineyard; one niece and two nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home, Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, with the Rev. Charles Rokosz officiating.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Duryea.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services Thursday.
The American Legion and the VFW will conduct services Thursday morning. Services with full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by a detail from McGuire Air Force Base.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
Margaret Reich

Margaret M. Reich, 82, of Oplinger Towers, Nanticoke, formerly of West Ridge Street, Nanticoke, died Thursday at Mercy Health Care Center, Sheatown, Newport Township, where she was a guest for over two weeks.
Born Feb. 17, 1916, in Nanticoke she was the daughter of the late Otto and Bertha Rahn Reich.
She attended the Nanticoke public schools.
She resided at Oplinger towers since June 1990 and formerly at West Ridge Street her entire life.
She was last employed as a dresser at Holly Dress Factory, Nanticoke, for 10 years. She was previously employed by J&R Dress Factory, Nanticoke.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, State Street, Nanticoke, and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by brothers , William and August Reich; sisters , Augusta and Gertrude Reich and Hedwig "Ada" Walti.
Surviving are two nephews, including Donald Reich, Nanticoke.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday from the Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. Carla Tappert, her pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Nanticoke Cemetery.
