Lottie Pauline Coolick, of Venice, Fla., died Dec. 22 at her home.
She was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Swoyersville.
Surviving are her sons , Charles, Venice, Fla.; and Lawrence, Luzerne; sisters , Jennie Metro, Birmingham, Ala.; and Regina Ference, Carverton, Kingston Township; brothers , Stanley Ference, Springfield, Va.; and Anthony Ference, Carverton; and two grandchildren.
A private burial service was conducted Tuesday in the chapel of Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carverton. The Rev. Joseph Weber celebrated a memorial Mass Wednesday in St. Frances X. Cabrini Church in Carverton.
Local arrangements were by the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 672 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
Cooper, Lonnie

Lonnie C. Cooper, 59, of Harveys Lake, died Friday at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, after a four-year battle with lung cancer.
Born in New Hope, he was a son of the late William and Catherine (Hoagland) Cooper. He was a graduate of New Hope High School and LCI College, Philadelphia. He was an electronic engineer with Olivetti North American, Inc., Kingston. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, having served as an ammunition specialist. He was a member of the Dallas American Legion, the George M. Dallas Lodge, Irem Temple, Bloomsburg Consistory and the Harveys Lake Rod & Gun Club.
Surviving are his wife, Jude; daughter, Victoria Cooper, Hunlock Creek; and son, Jason Fetchack, at home.
Friends may call at the Prince of Peace Church, Dallas, for a memorial service at 7 p.m. on Feb. 18. Memorial donations may be made to the Jude Cooper Assistant Fund, c/o First Union Bank, Routes 118 and 415, Dallas, 18612. Arrangements are by the Corcoran Funeral Home, Plains Township.
Adele Coplan

Adele Coplan, 83, residing at 15D Heisz St., Edwardsville, died Sunday in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, where she was a patient for two weeks.
She was the daughter of the late Irving and Tillie Backer Green.
She was a native of New York City. She came to Wilkes-Barre 65 years ago when she married the late Charles Coplan, who died in 1996.
She was an Eternal Light member of Temple Israel and a member of its Sisterhood, Hadassah and other Hebrew ladies' organizations.
Surviving are her daughter, Judi Friedman, Wayne, N.J.; son, Larry M. Coplan, Seattle, Wash.; four grandchildren; sister, Roslyn Bochiaro, Tuscon, Ariz.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, 348 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre. Cantor Ahron Abraham will officiate.
Interment will be in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville.
Shiva will be held at the family home at 15D Heisz St., Edwardsville, beginning Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and continuing through Sunday at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Corbett, Mary

Mary T. Corbett, of Elizabeth Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Friday at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Halpin) Myers. She was a graduate of Meyers High School. She was a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre, and the Oinkers Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Corbett; and sister, Helen Myers.
Surviving are her sons , John, Wilkes-Barre; and Patrick, at home; daughters , Eileen Parise, Karen Fritz and Nancy Barker, all of Wilkes-Barre; sister, Margaret Myers, at home; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday from the Matthew T. Jacobs Funeral Home, Inc., 47 Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 71 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre; or to St. Therese R.C. Church.

Joan Cosgrove, of Wilkes-Barre, formerly of New York City, died Wednesday at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton.
Funeral arrangements are pending from the Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home in Nanticoke.
RUTH CRAIGE
Ruth Inez Craige, 89, of Rush Township, formerly of Meshoppen, died Thursday.
Born Dec. 20, 1908, in Towanda, she was the daughter of the late Harry Elmer and Flossie Gwendolene (Thurston) Palmer.
She graduated from Noxen High School, California State College and Pennsylvania State University.
Prior to her marriage, she taught in Noxen public schools.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T. Huston Craige II; sisters , Gladys Araneo, Sophia Hacking, Louella Eriksen, Esther Hackling; brothers , Paul Palmer and Edward Palmer.
Surviving are sons , Thomas Huston Craige, Snow Hill, Md.; Harold Craige, with whom she resided; five grandsons and nine granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday from the Bartron Funeral Home Inc., 74 Church St., Montrose, with the Rev. Ralph E. Christianson, pastor of the First Universalist Church of Brooklyn, officiating.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday.

CRANE, HELEN

Helen A. Crane, of Reynolds Street, Kingston, died Sunday at Dorrance Manor in Kingston.
Born in Salem, Mich., she was the daughter of the late William B. Crane Sr. and Edith (Perkins) Crane.
She graduated from Wyoming Seminary and also graduated with a degree in education from Smith College in Northampton, Mass.
She was a guest at the Dorrance Manor for the past three weeks and resided on Reynolds Street for most of her life.
She was a school teacher and taught math and English in private schools in Maryland.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Kingston and the Wyoming Valley Motor Club.
She also trained as a floral judge and was a judge at many flower shows.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Crane, and a brother, William R. Crane Jr.
Surviving are her nephew, William B. Crane, III, New Canaan, Conn.; and a niece, Catherine Crane, New York City, N.Y.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Fern Knoll Burial Park, Midland Drive, Dallas, with the Rev. Robert A. Nagy officiating. Interment will follow the service.
Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the Grace Episcopal Church, Kingston.

Crawford, Robert

Robert James Crawford Jr., 51, of Soldiers Court, Scranton, died Sunday at his home.
Born Dec. 9, 1948, in Fort Knox, Ky., he was the son of Robert James Crawford Sr., of Laceyville, and Marion (Iddings) Fogarty, of Charlotte, N.C. He was a self-employed plumber.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his stepmother, Shirley Crawford, Laceyville; stepfather, Claude Fogarty, Charlotte, N.C.; sisters , Roberta Criswell, Parrish, Fla.; Eleanor Krissel, Anaheim, Calif.; and Patti Ann Fogarty, Charlotte, N.C.; stepsisters, Sandy Walker, Rummerfield; Rosialine Brooks, Watkins Glen, N.Y.; and Elsie Brotzman, Laceyville; stepbrothers, James Fogarty, Utica, N.Y.; James Crawford, Scranton; Archie Crawford, Towanda; and Jerry Crawford, Black Walnut; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Lacey Street Cemetery, Laceyville, with the Rev. Mark King officiating. Arrangements are by the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Laceyville.
HARRY CRISPELL
Harry E. Crispell, 89, of Fairgrounds Road, Dallas, died Monday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after he was stricken ill at work in Shavertown, Kingston Township.
Born in Forty Fort, he was the son of the late Edward and Eldora Smith Crispell.
He attended Forty Fort schools.
He was the supervisor of maintenance at the former Deposit and Savings Bank, Wilkes-Barre, for 40 years. He was later employed as a mechanic at Clyde Birth's Exxon Station, Spurlin's Dallas Exxon and Back Mountain Automotive Specialists, Shavertown.
He was preceded in death by his sisters , Edna Burgess and Minnie Lamoreaux.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, the former Helen Wancho; son, Truman, Edwardsville, Ill.; daughter, Patsy Hines, Westerville, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 672 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Rev. Jackson H. Cox, pastor of the Carverton United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Beaumont Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
CROOP, FRANK
July 21, 1999
Frank Croop, formerly of Plymouth, died July 21 in Tampa, Fla.
Born June 19, 1917, in Plymouth, he was the son of the late George and Amelia Oates Croop.
He attended Plymouth schools.
He was employed in Plymouth and Downingtown before moving to Florida several years ago.
He was preceded in death by brothers , George, Howard, Ted, Russell and Harry Croop; and sister, Cora Lamoreux.
Surviving are his children, Frank Jr., with whom he resided; Beverly Conrad, Northumberland; Sandra Hoffman, DeMotte, Ind.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Tampa.
Arrangements were by the Florida Mortuary, 4601 Nebraska Ave., Tampa.
