Stephen Chisarick, 90, of Lackawanna Avenue in Dallas, died Monday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Larksville, he was a son of the late Andrew and Anna (Fedor) Chisarick. He attended Larksville schools and had resided in Dallas for the past 49 years.
Before retiring, he was employed as a loom fixer in various textile mills throughout the Wyoming Valley.
He was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Church in Kingston and an associate member of the American Legion Post in Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne (Guida) Chisarick; and brothers , Andrew, Joseph and John.
Surviving are his sons , Richard T., Exeter; and Stephen R., Jr., Dallas; daughter, Diane Brennan, Williamsport; four grandchildren; brother, Michael, Luzerne, and sisters , Mary Gilroy, Wilkes-Barre; Anna Sundy, Courtdale; and Elizabeth Lo Verde, Zephyrhills, Fla.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Friday from the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 672 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with Requiem Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Byzantine Church. The Rev. Theodore E. Krepp will officiate.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Pringle.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Parastas services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Chismar, Sue

Sue (Rebovich) Chismar, of Susquehanna Avenue, Exeter, died Thursday at her home.
Born July 12, 1919, in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Anna Prebish Rebovich. She was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Church, Pittston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; brothers , Andrew and John; and sister, Helen.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan Chismar, Pittsburgh; son, Michael, Pittsburgh; sisters , Catherine Gima, Anna Rebovich and Sophie Kridlo, all of Pittston; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Church. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Exeter. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday. Parastas services will be at 7 p.m.
Chmiola, Ethel Bowanko

Ethel W. Bowanko Chmiola, 83, of Pocono Trailer Court, Plains Township, died Tuesday at ManorCare, Kingston, after an illness.
Born in the Hudson section of Plains Township, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Stella (Mahalski) Wasmanski. She attended Plains Township schools and lived in Wilkes-Barre most of her life and lived in Plains Township the past 10 years. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church, Plains Township; the Pennsylvania Council of the Blind and the Blind Association of Wyoming Valley.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Bowanko; second husband, John J. Chmiola; brothers , John, Frank, Stanley, Leonard and Edward; and sisters , Sophie Roller, Josephine Hannon and Anna Trebunak.
Surviving are her daughters , Rose Tarasek, with whom she resided; and Lillian Drahus, Laflin; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brothers , Anthony, Plains Township; Joseph, Hudson; and Clem, Plains Township.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from Mark V. Yanaitis Funeral Home, 55 Stark St., Plains Township, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Saints Peter and Paul Church. Interment will be in the parish Cemetery, Plains Township. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Joseph Chukinas

Joseph P. Chukinas, 66, of Ebb Drive, Altamonte Springs, Fla., died Tuesday.
He was employed by Omnifax Danka in Orlando, Fla. He retired from the Central Intelligence Agency in 1977 after 23 years. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the
Korean War.
He was originally from Dallas and graduated from Dallas Township High in 1950.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jean Kushner of Edwardsville; daughters , Dianne Chukinas-Dearing, Doreen Chukinas and Denise Chukinas; one grandson; sisters , Rose Mary Pensyl, Theresa Pavlick and Dolores Schwartz; a brother, Michael Chukinas.
Dorothy Ciannelli

Dorothy (Ide) Ciannelli of 420 Phoenix St., Duryea, passed away on Thursday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
She was born in West Pittston and lived in Exeter and Duryea. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Florence Howell Ide.
She was a 1959 graduate of Exeter High School.
Before she retired in December of 1996, she was employed for 24 years at Topps Chewing Gum Co., Duryea.
She was a member of Luzerne Avenue Baptist Church, West Pittston.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn.
Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Albert, at home; a son, Albert, Hughestown; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Brandon and Ryan; sisters , Evelyn Saltz, West Pittston; Shirley Dymond, Exeter; Mrs. Frank (Barbara) Lombardo, Pittston; Mrs. Edwin (Nancy) Lasoski, Avoca; Mrs. John (Linda) Tapia, Exeter; Mrs. Thomas (Sandy) Park, Exeter; brothers , Howard, Donald and James Ide, all of Exeter; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday from the Adonizio Funeral Home Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a service at 10:30 a.m. in Luzerne Avenue Baptist Church. The Revs. George Czar and Paul McDonnell will officiate.
Interment will be in West Pittston Cemetery.

Margaret H. Cimback, formerly of Moll Street, Kingston, died Sunday at Summit Nursing Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Plymouth, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Mayernick) Demko. She worked for the Hess-Goldsmith Silk Mill, Kingston, and in the dietary department of Wyoming Seminary, Kingston. She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Cimback; brothers , Joseph, John, Stephen, George, Paul and Michael; and sisters , Anna Demko, Julia Demko and Helen Skvarla.
Surviving are her daughters , Margaret Wiecezak, Greentown; and Helene Mendrzycki, Nanticoke; son, Michael; two grandchildren; sister, Mary Levitsky, Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Kopicki Funeral Home, Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Interment will be in the parish Cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Cistrunk, Infant Tevin

Tevin Jordan Cistrunk, infant son of Tara Rosengrant and Tracy Cistrunk, died at birth Saturday at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tristen.
Surviving are his brothers , T.J. and Demarquis; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Judy Rosengrant; and paternal grandparents, Leonard and Elizabeth Cistrunk.
Funeral services will be private.
Arrangements are by the Matthew T. Jacobs Funeral Home Inc., 47 Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre.
William Clarke

William F. Clarke, 42, of North Mont Villa Ave., Hagerstown, Md., died Monday at Washington County Hospital, Maryland, as a result of an automobile accident.
Born in Pittston, he was the son of Anne Marie Clarke and the late William F. Clarke.
He was a resident of Pittston and Pittston Township before moving to Maryland three years ago.
He graduated from St. John the Evangelist High School in 1973. He earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting and master's degree in business administration from the University of Scranton.
He was a certified public accountant.
He was employed by Zefer Operations Inc., Fairfield, as their chief financial officer.
He was a former member of St. John the Evangelist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, the former Mary Ellen Harned, Hagerstown, Md.; son, Dustin, Pittston; daughter, Megan, Pittston; brother, John, Newport Township; sisters Mrs. Thomas (Marie) Coyle, Old Forge; Mrs. Francis (Patricia) Cantafio, Pittston Township; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. today from the Adonizio Funeral Home Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.
Interment will be in the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston.
Clarke, Beverly

Beverly J. (Weidner) Clarke, of Lyndwood, Hanover Township, died Sunday at the Hospice Care Inpatient Unit, Heritage House, Wilkes-Barre.
Born Dec. 16, 1929, in Hanover Township, she was a daughter of the late Harry H. and Rose Ann (Farrell) Weidner.
She attended Hanover Township schools.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward H. Weidner; sister, Rose Weidner; and one granddaughter.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Malcolm; daughters , Beverly Black, Marysville; Sarah Good, New Bloomfield; Linda Clarke, at home; and Kelly Clarke, Middletown; son, Irvin, Harrisburg; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Williams Funeral Home, 114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Tim Hall of the Nebo Baptist Church, Nanticoke, officiating.
Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Margaret Cleary, of South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday.
Born in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theodous Sowa Arasimowicz.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Apostolic Tabernacle in Orange.
Surviving are her husband, Barry Cleary, at home; sisters , Carol Jenkins, Nanticoke; Barbara Bierdziewski, Nanticoke; and brother, Daniel Bierdziewski, Tilbury Terrace.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday from the Walter W. Lisman Funeral Home, 233 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Frank Chorba officiating.
Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
