Annabell M. Fultz
MILROY — Annabell M. Fultz, 80, of 57 S. Main St., Milroy, died at 3 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Lewistown Hospital.
Born July 10, 1923, in Milroy, she was the daughter of the late Harry I. and Eva V. (Johnson) Gonsman. Her husband, Irvin R. Fultz, preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 1976.
Surviving are: children, Alma “Sis” Bartlebaugh, Lock Haven, Mrs. Roy (Kay) Mateer, Jr., Dennis W. Fultz and wife Paula, Terry R. Fultz and wife Diane, John L. Fultz and wife Belinda, all of Milroy, Mrs. Michael (Judy) Hemberger, Altoona; daughter-in-law Betty A. Fultz, Potters Mills; siblings, Betty Walls, Naginey, Kathryn “Nori” Bowersox, Milroy, and Mrs. Norman ( Carrie Lee) Wert, New Lancaster Valley; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Irvin L. “Toady” Fultz in 1994; and sister Ethel M. Fink.
She was a homemaker and member of the Milroy Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
A viewing will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2 until time of service, at 11 a.m. at Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham. The Rev. Douglas D. Sabin and Captain Douglas L. Bartlebaugh will be officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.

Louise M. Dubendorf
OGDEN, UT — Louise M. Dubendorf, 79, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Crestwood Care Center, where she received excellent care.
Born on Dec. 24, 1923, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Lillian Watts. Surviving is her husband, Albert Dubendorf, whom she married on July 27, 1945, in Lewistown.
Also surviving are: two daughters , Bonnie Kise of Avondale and Vicki Goetz of Ogden, UT; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 333 W. 7th St., Ogden, UT.
Cremation was under the direction of Aaron’s Mortuary & Crematory, 1600 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT.
Mary E. Kerstetter
MILROY - Mary E. Kerstetter, 84, 228 S. Main St., Milroy, went to be with the Lord at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at her residence.
Born Dec. 4, 1919, in Reedsville, she was a daughter of the late John William and Cecilia (Sassaman) Bonson. Her husband, Clifford S. Kerstetter Sr., preceded her in death June 23, 1988.
Surviving are: three children, Clifford S. Kerstetter Jr. and wife, Kim, Reedsville, David Ray Kerstetter and wife, Cindy, Reedsville, and Mary Ann Fultz, Milroy; and two sisters , Florence Smoker, Milroy, and Ruth Price, Granville; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: a son, Gary Lee Kerstetter in 1939; a brother, Herman Bonson; and a sister, Zella Wagner.
She retired from Scotty’s Fashions, Lewistown, in 1979. Earlier in life, she worked at Fisher Electronics, Milroy, and was the owner/operator of Clover Farm’s Store, Milroy, Pa., for 16 years.
She attended Grace Covenant Church, Lewistown.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at Grace Covenant Church, 205 Washington Ave., Lewistown, with the Rev. Michael S. Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.
Her viewing will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the church.

Patricia L. Close
MILROY - Patricia L. Close, 74, 1310 Church Lane, Milroy, died at 4:31 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Lewistown Hospital.
Born Feb. 14, 1930, in Milroy, she was a daughter of the late Russell William and Mary Ethel (Henry) Pecht Sr. Her husband, James W. Close, whom she married on April 19, 1988, survives.
Also surviving are: two children, Mrs. Thomas (Candice June) Wagner, Lewistown, and Ricky James Collins, Milroy; two sisters , Betty Jane Wagner, Erie, and Mrs. Harvey (June) Karschner, Lewistown; two brothers , Russell William Pecht Jr., Lewistown, and Dennis K. Pecht, Cogan Station; four grandchildren, Gregory Wagner, Tami Yeater, Andrew Collins and Sarah Collins; five great-grandchildren, Kyle Yeater, Dustin Yeater, Hunter Wagner, Kayla Hetrick and Samantha Hetrick.
She was preceded in death by: a husband, James Franklin Collins on July 3, 1978.
She was a 1948 graduate of Milroy High School.
She had worked at UniMark Plastics, Milroy, and Arrow Shirt Co., Lewistown.
She was a member of Blue Bird Sunday School Class, Ladies Auxiliary Milroy Fire Co. and St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Milroy.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid Bingo player.
Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Milroy, with the Re. Kenneth Longfield officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.

LEWISTOWN - Alma Kendrick, 85, formerly of West Seneca, N. Y., died at 3:58 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare William Penn, Lewistown.

Lee O. Kilmer
TUSCARORA - Lee O. Kilmer, 85, RR1, Mifflintown and formerly of Tuscarora, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Brookline Manor.
Born Feb. 24, 1919, in Turbett Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late Phillip L. and Rena E. (Gingrich) Kilmer Sr. His wife, Loubrinton A. “Toots” (McMullen) Kilmer, whom he married on Sept. 16, 1941, of RR1 Box 603-1, Mifflintown, survives.
Also surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Brenda) Allen, of RR2 Box 980, McAlisterville; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Helen L. Seiber in August 2004; a brother, Phillip L Kilmer Jr.; and two sisters , Margaret Leister and Evelyn Ashton. He was the last of his family.
He was a retired custodian where he worked at the Tuscarora Elementary School, Port Royal. Earlier in life, he and his wife owned and operated the former Kilmers’ Restaurant, Port Royal.
He was a member of the Tuscarora Church of the Brethren.
His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Charles Sheaffer officiating. Interment will be in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
His viewing for family and friends will be held 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, until time of the service at the funeral home. There will be no evening viewing. The family will provide flowers.

Amy Jo Wagner
LEWISTOWN — Amy Jo Wagner, 38, of 14 Sara Lane, Lewistown, entered into heaven at 5:43 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born Aug. 28, 1966 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of James E. and Amy (Baumgardner) Price of Lewistown. Her husband, Steven D. Wagner, whom she married May 31, 1986, survives her.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by: daughters , Stephany Jo and Sarann A. Wagner, both at home, and brother James E. Price, Jr. and wife Wendy of Lewistown.
She was employed as a licensed practical nurse for Interim Health Care from 2000 until present.
She was a 1984 Lewistown Area High School graduate and a September 2000 graduate of the Mifflin-Juniata County Vo-tech Nursing Program class.
She was a member of the Maitland Church of the Brethren. She was an American Heart Association health care provider.
She liked to read inspirational books, crochet, do arts and crafts and spend time with family and friends.
Her funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Charles Eldredge officiating. Interment will be in Maitland Cemetery, Lewistown. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday, at the funeral home. Glenn O. Hawbaker Sr.
STATE COLLEGE — Glenn O. Hawbaker Sr., 86, of State College, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas .
Born June 24, 1918, in Welsh Run, Franklin County, he was a son of the late Daniel M. and Ada (Hege) Hawbaker. His wife of 66 years, Thelma (Benedict) Hawbaker, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Marie H. De Vinney and husband Charles of Petersburg, Daniel R. Hawbaker and wife Suzie of Port Matilda, Glenn O. Hawbaker Jr. and wife Barbara of Petersburg, and Alan G. Hawbaker of Port Matilda; stepson Robert Dressler and wife Clara of Mechanicsburg; sisters , Lois Wenger of Orlando, Fla., Rhoda Eberly Hartman and husband Richard of Greencastle; sisters -in-law, Vera Hawbaker of State College and Blanche Hawbaker of Mercersburg; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: brothers , J. Alvin Hawbaker, formerly of State College and D. Elmer Hawbaker, formerly of Mercersburg.
He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a Central Pennsylvania contractor, pilot, and a citrus grove owner in South Texas .
He was a founding member of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, a member of the State College Elks, Mountain Acres, State College Lions Club and a Free & Accepted Masonic Lodge 700 of State College and Consistery, Valley of Altoona and Jaffa Temple Altoona member.
He also was a member of the McVeytown Church of the Brethren. His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, at the State College Alliance Church, 1221 W. White hall Road, State College, with a reception to follow at 3 p.m. at the Toftrees Resort and Conference Center, 1 Country Club Road, State College. Interment will be in Centre County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College.

Lola M. Feese
SURPRISE, Ariz. — Lola M. Feese, 91, of Surprise, Ariz., formerly of Milroy, died at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004 in Peoria, Ariz.
Born Jan. 29, 1913 in Mapleton Depot, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert W. and Ethel P. (Ramsey) Wagner. Her husband, Howard W. Feese, preceded her in death Jan. 18 1994.
She was the last of her immediate family and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and member of First Southern Baptist Church, Sun City, Ariz.
Her graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Mount Rock Cemetery, with the Rev. Marshall Deckard officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
Alma R. Kendrick
WEST SENECA, N.Y.— Alma R. Kendrick, 85, formerly of West Seneca, N.Y., died at 3:48 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at the Beverly Healthcare William Penn Nursing Home, Lewistown.
She was born Nov. 11, 1919, in Tonawanda, N.Y. to the late John R. and Margarite (Myers) Davies. She was married to Bruce W. Kendrick, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Robin Kendrick, and a grandson, Michael Bruce Kendrick of West Seneca, N.Y. Mrs. Kendrick had been cared for by her niece, Mrs. Keith (Jean) Savitts of Milroy and is survived by another niece Mrs. John (Teresa) Johnson of Reedsville. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Glenda Davies of Milroy.
She was preceded in death by two brothers : Glen B. Davies in June, 1981 and Irving R. Davies on Aug. 14, 1988.
She was a 1937 graduate of Burnham High School. She was a receptionist for Drs. Matala and Cromwell in West Seneca, N.Y., and a cafeteria aide at Trinity Lutheran School-West Seneca, N.Y. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, West Seneca, N.Y. and had been a U.S.O. volunteer.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Trinity Lutheran Church in West Seneca, N.Y., with the Rev. Ron Habedank officiating.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the Hoy Funeral Home, 3855 Seneca Street, West Seneca, NY. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, West Seneca, N.Y.
Annie B. Stayrook
BELLEVILLE - Annie B. Stayrook, 94, Valley View Haven, Belleville, and formerly of Trella Street, Belleville, died at 7:10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2004 at Valley View Haven.
Born July 29, 1910, in Belleville, she was a daughter of the late Reuben and Arie (Yoder) Stayrook.
She is survived by sister Mabel A. Stayrook of Trella Street, Belleville.
She was preceded in death by: a brother, Joseph Stayrook; and three sisters , Bertha Yoder, Elizabeth Peachey and Ruth Stayrook.
She performed child care duties and domestic related tasks for individuals in the Belleville and Lewistown areas.
She was a member of Locust Grove Mennonite Church, Belleville, the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class, and the Women’s Sewing Circle.
She enjoyed quilting, embroidering, cooking and traveling.
Her funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. today, Nov. 29, 2004, at Locust Grove Mennonite Church, Belleville, with the Revs. Max Zook and Mayard Beitzel officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Belleville.
Her viewing for family and friends will be held 9:30 a.m. until time of the service today at the church.
