Gainelle Elizabeth Wagner
HARRISBURG — Gainelle Elizabeth Wagner, 56, of Harrisburg, continued her spiritual journey on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007.
Born Oct. 25, 1951, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of Sarah E. (Elliott) and the late Roger D. Wagner Sr.
In addition to her mother , Ms. Wagner is survived by brother, Roger D. Wagner Jr and wife, Donna.; several nieces and nephews; companion, Marcella Jumper; and many, many friends who deeply loved her and will cherish her memory.
She was a member of St. Patrick’s and recently attended Unity Church of Harrisburg.
She worked as an Administrative Assistant for 31 years for Prudential Insurance Company and was an Administrative Assistant to Walter Sheets. She also was a distributor for Tahitian Noni Juice.
She was an avid shopper and party planner.
Memorial services will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 17, at Unity Church of Harrisburg, 927 Wertzville Road, Enola.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 4999 Louise Drive, Suite 104, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.

Annie M. Weaver
EAST EARL — Annie M. Weaver, 83, of Laurel Road, East Earl, Lancaster County, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at her home.
Born in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Annie (Martin) Shirk. Her husband, Reuben B. Weaver, survives.
Also surviving are: two sons and two daughters : Benjamin and Ruth Ann Weaver, of Mohnton, Esther and Ervin Martin, of East Earl, Enos and Dorothy Weaver, of Lewistown, and Mary and Ivan Brubaker, of Canandaigua, N.Y.; 23 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; two sisters , Lydia Brubacher and Eva Shirk, both of Narvon; and three brothers , Elias Shirk, of Elkton, Ky., and Menno and Titus Shirk, both of East Earl.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Lester Brubaker, a granddaughter-in-law, Meagan Weaver, and three brothers , Aaron, Samuel and Benjamin Shirk.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference. She enjoyed quilting.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Nov. 8, at her home with further services at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill, was in charge of the arrangements.
Paul F. Barton
MIFFLINTOWN — Paul F. Barton, 78, of Mifflintown, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at Lewistown Hospital.
Born Sept. 19, 1929, in Port Royal, he was a son of the late Robert Franklin Barton and Maude Ellen (Pannebaker) Barton Taylor and the step-son of the late William C. Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, LaRue (Coldren) Barton, whom he married May 16, 1952; two children, Thomas W. Barton and wife, Paula, of Annville, and Judy Kauffman and husband, Norman, of Penfield; two sisters , Mary Diven, of Chambersburg, and Betty Hostler and husband, Robert, of RR 3, Mifflintown, and two grandchildren, Tracy Rayadi and husband, Jerry, and Jennifer Kauffman.
He attended Milton Hershey Industrial School and graduated from Juniata Joint High School in 1947. He served in the US Navy from 1948 to 1952. He worked as a plumber and electrician and then as an Estimator Coordinator at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle. He was a member of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church and Union Lodge No. 324 F&AM.
His memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Pine Grove UM Church with Rev. Joy Hulslander officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, McAlisterville at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
The family will provide all flowers and requests that memorial contributions be made to Pine Grove UM Church, RR 1 Box 792, Mifflintown, PA 17059.

Ray H. McNaughton
LIVERPOOL — Ray H. McNaughton, 68, of RR 1, Liverpool, entered into rest, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at his home. His passing was sudden and unexpected.
Mr. McNaughton was born on Feb. 14, 1939, in Watts Township, Duncannon, the son of the late George and Mary Elizabeth (Page) McNaughton Sr.
He attended Greenwood High School in Millerstown, and was a US Army veteran. Ray was a former employee of Capitol Products, Mechanicsburg, and retired from True Temper, Mechanicsburg. Since his retirement he worked part time at the Weis Markets in Newport. He was a member of the Millerstown Moose Lodge and the Liverpool American Legion Post No. 364, the Oriental Sportsmans Association and the Liverpool Ambulance League.
Ray enjoyed hunting, four wheeling and raising turkeys. He was well known as a person who would help someone in need.
Surviving are his loving companion Jean Swauger, of 35 years; a son Keith E. McNaughton Sr. and his wife, Susan, of York Haven; a daughter, Debra E. Beaver and her husband, James, of Mechanicsburg; two step daughters , Jodie Kline, of Thompsontown, and Kristie Palomba, and her husband, Chris, of Lawrenceville Ga.; four brothers ; George McNaughton Jr., of Thompsontown; Palmer McNaughton, of New Bloomfield, Ernest McNaughton, of Hummelstown, and Robert Stahley, of New Bloomfield; two sisters , Linda Kile, of Mechanicsburg, and Kathy Beck, of Liverpool; six grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.
Ray was preceded by an infant son Ray McNaughton, Jr.; two sisters , Ruth Gish and Mae Comp, and two brothers , Carl McNaughton and Paul Stailey.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 9366 state Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, with a viewing from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Jack Roth. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Freeburg.

Craig A. King
LEWISTOWN — Craig A. King, 32, of 4646 state Route 103 North, Lewistown, died at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, on Route 103 North as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Born Aug. 3, 1975, in Lewistown, he was the son of Robert E. and Denice (Sowers) King, of Milroy. His wife, Mindy J. (Hetrick) King, whom he married Sept. 14, 1996, survives.
Also surviving are children Colby M. King, and Evan S. King, at home; and a paternal grandmother, Jean Kennett, Lancaster.
He graduated in 1993 from Indian Valley High School and worked as a carpenter at King Quality Builders, in Milroy, from 1997 to the present.
He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Burnham.
His funeral will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. John S. Walters officiating. Interment will be in Birch Hill Cemetery, Burnham.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Blaine R. Leister
MILLMONT — Blaine R. Leister, 95, of Centre Hall, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at Rolling Hills Manor, rural Millmont.
He was born June 19, 1912, in Potter Township, a son of the late Philip and Clara Burris Leister.
On June 30, 1931 he married Alta H. Cummings, who preceded him in death on May 13, 1998.
He is survived by his daughter Janet B. Dutrow, and her husband, D. Ray, of Mifflinburg; two grandchildren, Dr. Timothy R., and his wife, Deborah A. Dutrow, of New Columbia, and Sandra J. Cresswell, and her husband, Ted A., of Mifflinburg; five great grandchildren, Renee St. Clair, Megan Dutrow, T. J. Cresswell, T. Drew Dutrow and Mark Cresswell.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Nicole Cresswell.
Mr. Leister was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Centre Hall, and the Centre Hall Fire Company.
Mr. Leister owned and operated a company which provided white washing services to dairy farmers throughout the area, and also did agricultural spraying, especially fruit trees.
There will not be a public visitation. Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA, with the Reverend Ron Warfle officiating. Burial will be in the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, West Church St. Centre Hall.

Lesa A. Bailey
LEWISTOWN — Lesa A. Bailey, 44, of 4153 U.S. Hwy. 522 N., Lewistown, went home to be with the Lord at 9:21 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at the Hershey Medical Center.
She was born May 5, 1963, in Lewistown. She was a daughter of Gloria L. (Wetzel) Harshbarger, of Lewistown, and the late Harold C. “Butch” Harshbarger.
She is survived by her husband, Robert M. Bailey, whom she married Sept. 26, 1987.
Also surviving are: her sisters , Brenda Harshbarger, of Lewistown, and Debra Boyer and her husband, David, of McVeytown; paternal grandmother, Martha Ruth Harshbarger, of McVeytown; and two nieces, who were the light of her life, LeeAnn and KayLynn Boyer.
She was preceded in death by two sisters , Darla and Tammy Harshbarger.
She was a 1982 graduate of Lewistown High School. Afterward, she attended South Hills Business School.
She worked as a secretary for Overhead Door Corp. She later worked as an account supervisor for J-Wood Corp.
She attended Windy Hill Bible Church and formerly taught Sunday school at Fellowship Baptist Church.
Her funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Pastor James Everly officiating. Interment will be in Mattawana Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Chester William Bodley
NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Chester William Bodley, 85, of Naperville, Ill., formerly of Patterson, N.Y., and Lewistown, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at his home.
He was born Nov. 25, 1921, in Lewistown.
He is survived by daughters , Gwen (Fred) Ross, of Naperville, and Pamela Bodley, of Patterson; son, Thomas Bodley, of California; grandson, Bryan Ross, of Naperville, Ill., and sister, Kathryn Wertz, of Lewistown.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Dorothy (nee Margritz) Bodley, in 1990, parents, Ida (nee Delbaugh) and Chester W. Bodley, and sister, Melissa Shoff.
Mr. Bodley graduated from Lewistown High School and Delehantey Institute of Electronics, New York. He served in the Navy in the Pacific during World War II and upon his return, married his wife, Dorothy (nee Magritz) Bodley, July 27, 1946.
Mr. Bodley worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Penn Central, Conrail and Metro North Commuter railroads as a Signal Engineer.
He also had a part-time radio and TV repair business in the early days of TV.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will be at Juniata Memorial Park in Lewistown. Graveside military rites will be by VFW Post 7011, Lewistown.

Ralph E. Brechbiel
MAPLETON — Ralph E. Brechbiel, 79, of 16082 Barneytown Road, Mapleton Depot, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 15, at J.C. Blair Hospital.
Born March 4, 1928, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Howard and Myrtle (Vanderau) Brechbiel.
He married Vera Grace (Hamman) Brechbiel, who preceded him in death on May 15, 2003.
He is survived by: his son, Mark E. Brechbiel and wife, Christina, of Mill Creek; a granddaughter, Kara Brechbiel; a sister, Gladys Laird, of Mill Creek; a brother, Ronald Brechbiel, of Martinsburg, W. Va.; and a companion, Lenora G. Adams, of Mattawana.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Brechbiel, and a sister, Mae Flory.
He retired after 30 years of service at Harbison-Walker Refractories in Mount Union.
Mr. Brechbiel served with the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the VFW Post in Mount Union, and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post in Mapleton.
Mr. Brechbiel enjoyed country music, and he loved to dance.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mt. Union, with Pastor Jeanette Mater officiating. Interment will be in the Bowman’s Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and after 9 a.m. Monday until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
David R. Hufnagel Jr.
GLENSHAW — David R. Hufnagel Jr., 35, of Etna, died suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007.
He was the beloved son of Norma J. (Welker) and David R. Hufnagel Sr.; loving brother of Lisa (Tom) Stalnaker; loving grandson of Lawrence Hufnagel Jr.; dear uncle of Christopher Roscoe, and Caleb and Carisa Stalkner.
Also surviving are aunts and uncles.
Family and personal friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of a Blessing Service at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bock Funeral Home Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw.
