MARYANNE E. PATRICK
Maryanne E. Patrick, 64, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, in the Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born June 12, 1935, in Export, a daughter of the late Lawrence G. and Anna M. Vargesko Watt. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by GTE of Delmont, and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. She is survived by her husband, Andrew P. Patrick; a son, Jeffrey P. and his wife, Lori Patrick, of Hollsopple; two granddaughters, Brittany Ann Patrick and Bethany Jane Patrick; and a brother, William E. and his wife, Margaret Watt, of Montgomery, Ala. Friends will be received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1 p.m. in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. Family suggests memorial contributions to the Our Lady of Grace Building Fund, 1001 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
RICHARD PAULSON
Richard Paulson, 79, of Ligonier, formerly of Bethel Park, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born July 22, 1920, in Donora, a son of the late Adam and Helen Paulson. He had been a school teacher for 30 years, having taught in the Mt. Lebanon School District. Richard was a member of St. Raymond of the Mountains Catholic Church, Donegal. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps on active duty from Oct. 1, 1943, to Jan. 13, 1946, having attained the rank of captain and had also served in the Reserves from 1946 to 1956. He was a flight leader and instructor having served in the China-Burma-India area with the 4th Combat Cargo Group and the 13th Combat Cargo Squadron. He received the following citations: World War II Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific with three battle stars, Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters and the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Paulson; and a sister, Alfreda Hokha. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Irene; two daughters , Cheryl and her husband, Ronald Robertson, of Ligonier, and Marianne and her husband, David Keck, of Erie; seven grandchildren, Nicki and Jessica Robertson, Tara, Dave, Michael, Ashley and Chrissy Keck; and a sister, Irene Schaefer of Pittsburgh. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the L. BOYD SNYDER FUNERAL HOME INC., Church Street, Donegal. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Raymond of the Mountains Catholic Church, Donegal, with the Rev. John Harrold as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Raymond Cemetery. JOHN J. PETRINI
John J. "Apey" Petrini, 84, of Trafford, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born June 13, 1915, in Trafford, a son of the late Louis and Antoinette Ferrero Petrini. He was a member of St. Regis Church, Trafford; the Sub-Alpine, Turtle Creek and was inducted into the East Borough Chapter of the PA Sports Hall of Fame. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Westinghouse, East Pittsburgh, as a cement mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers , Lawrence, Robert and Louis Petrini; three sisters , Mary Lawrence, Rose Petrella and Elizabeth DeAngellis; and a granddaughter, Anna Marie Richardson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mildred Bugajski Petrini; two daughters , Rosemarie Stewart of Indianapolis, Ind., and Carol Anne "Cookie" Richardson of Trafford. Also survived by three grandchildren, Jack and Doug Stewart and Russell Richardson; and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the DAVID A. RITTER FUNERAL HOME, 220 Edgewood Ave., Trafford. Harry A. Readshaw Jr., second-generation funeral director, 84, of Carrick, on Monday, April 3, 2000. Beloved husband of Ellen Joanne Webb Readshaw. Father of Blanche Woodruff of Southern Pines, N.C., Harry A. Readshaw III and Scott L. Readshaw, both of Pittsburgh. Stepfather of Jo Ellen Boyd of Virginia and Karen Hoover of Library. Nine grandchildren. Three great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Ernest J. Readshaw and the late Elizabeth "Betty" Hall. Louise M. Robbins, 84, of Latrobe, died Sunday, April 2, 2000, at the Loyalhanna Care Center, Derry Township. She was born Nov. 29, 1915, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Evan and Louise Gillson Moberg. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Latrobe. She had been an employee of the former Troutman's department store, Latrobe. Also she was a member of Latrobe Junior Women's Club, Latrobe Civic Club, and had been an avid bridge player with a close group of friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Michael Rafferty; and a sister, Ruth Gressing. Survived by her husband, Cassius R. Robbins; a son, Bruce E. Robbins and his wife, Kathleen, of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Bonnie L. Rafferty and her husband, Daniel F., of Latrobe; a brother, Dr. John Moberg of Marietta, Ohio; three sisters , Jean Frost of Indianapolis, Ind., Margaret McFeaters of Latrobe, and Carol Moberg of Pittsburgh; also survived by four grandchildren, Dan Rafferty and his wife, Shari, Lt. Tim Rafferty and his wife, Alicia, Paige Gross and her husband, Christopher, and Shanna Robbins; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Trent. There were no public visitations. Private services were held Tuesday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Frank S. Sorosky, 72, of Moon Township, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at Atrium I, Robinson Township. Beloved husband of Florence. Beloved Father of Edith "Penny" Jurchak and her husband, John, of Thurmont, Md., Frank D. Sorosky and his wife, Georgette, of Moon Township and David Sorosky of New Stanton. Annemary Foley, of Murrysville, died Sunday, April 2, 2000, in the Woodhaven Care Center, Monroeville. She was born in Forest Hills, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Murtaugh Foley. She was a retired executive secretary for Westinghouse Electric, Pittsburgh. She was a member of the mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville, and a past member of the Murrysville Women's Club. She was preceded in death by a sister, Helene M. Foley in 1986. She is survived by a sister, Mary Louise Foley of Murrysville. Ollie May Garland, 89, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Greensburg, died Sunday, April 2, 2000, at her residence. She was born April 12, 1910, in Hempfield Township, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Jane Garris Klingensmith. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Nappy" Garland, in 1985. Surviving are a daughter, Emma Jane Garland of Las Vegas, Nev.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. There will be no public viewing. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park with the Rev. E. Allen Scanlon officiating. Sandra E. Robinson, 44, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, April 2, 2000, at her residence. She was born Feb. 9, 1956, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Edward Blaine Sr. and Dolores Evelyn Walker King. She was a member of the Reunion Presbyterian Church, Mt. Pleasant. Sandra was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School, Class of 1974 and attended West Chester State University. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward B. King in 1998; and her grandparents, Oliver and Hallie King and Nathaniel and Evelyn Walker Davis. She is survived by her husband, James K. Robinson; a daughter, Kendra E. Galley and husband, Dwight, of Jeannette; a step-daughter, Jamie Robinson of Greensburg; two sisters , Sylvia King of West Chester and Cheryl L.
