DONNA MARIE BUZZA

Donna Marie Buzza, 74, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Bethel Park, on Monday, April 3, 2000. mother of Jeffrey Buzza of Pittsburgh and Richard Porter Buzza of the Florida Keys. Sister of Leanna Barclay, Gail Pfeiffer and Elvira Bost. Daughter of the late Thomas R. and Blanche (Swartz) Porter. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. Memorial contributions may be made to World Vision International, 79 N. Industrial Park, Sewickley, PA 15143.

JOHN P. DAVIS

John P. Davis, 81, formerly of Harrison Avenue, Greensburg, died Monday, April 3, 2000, in Hempfield Manor, Hempfield Township, after an extended illness. Born in Pittsburgh, July 26, 1918, he was a son of the late Franklin and Cora Elizabeth Cline Davis. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a certified public accountant by the Elliott Co. of Jeannette. He was a graduate of Jeannette High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the United Church of Christ of Jeannette, the Jeannette Masonic Lodge #750 F&AM, the Syria Temple of Pittsburgh and the Shrine. He is survived by two sisters , Mae Bezak of Brookville, Pa., and Estella Seslar of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; a brother, Edwin F. Davis of Harrison City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the LAWRENCE J. McCLURE FUNERAL HOME, 112 N. Second St., Jeannette, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Robert W. Jobe officiating. Private interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Penn Township.

MARILYN F. EDWARDS

Marilyn F. Edwards, 67, of North Versailles, died Monday, April 3, 2000. Daughter of the late Arthur J. and Nettie E. (Wilson) Hutchinson. Wife of the late Richard "Dick" Edwards. Beloved mother of Geraldine Kraemer, James and the late Ricky Edwards. Sister of Louise Ray. Nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the funeral home Friday at noon.

MARGARET E. ELLIS

Margaret E. Ellis, 78, of North Huntingdon, died Monday, April 3, 2000, in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was born July 14, 1921, in Athens, Ga., a daughter of the late George and Clara Holloway. She is survived by her son, Karl Ellis Jr. of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two daughters , Margery Pedder of North Huntingdon and Mrs. David (Carolyn) Moyer of Greensburg; three brothers , Raymond and Bruner Holloway, both of Vonore, Tenn., and Darriell Holloway of St. Augustine, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the SHIRLEY-KUKICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.

RONALD J. GLAMP

Ronald J. Glamp, 48, of Champion, formerly of Greensburg, died Friday, March 31, 2000. He was born July 14, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Dorothy M. (Daniels) Glamp of Greensburg and the late Joseph J. Glamp. He had been employed as a manager at Seven Springs Resort in Champion. He was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School, Class of 1969, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania , Class of 1973. In addition to his Father , he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Stella Pieszak Daniels; and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Glamp. In addition to his mother , he is survived by a sister, Marcia J. Glamp, and a brother, Gary J. and his wife, Mary Lynn Glamp, all of Greensburg; a nephew, Jesse Glamp; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in the Church of St. Paul, Greensburg, with the Rev. Leonard W. Stoviak as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.

RUTH A. (MOFFAT) HALLAM

Ruth A. (Moffat) Hallam, 54, of Munhall, died Monday, April 3, 2000. Beloved wife of James "Spike" Hallam. Beloved mother of James E. of Munhall and Kevin J. of Munhall. Beloved daughter of Nellie (Fullerton) Moffat of West Mifflin and the late Raymond Moffat. Beloved sister of Virginia Lesko and Retta Mizak, both of Whitaker, James P. Moffat and Thomas Moffat, both of West Mifflin, and Ralph Moffat of West Homestead. Beloved grandmother of Alyssa Hallam. Friends received Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3511 Main St., Munhall, where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gregory Golden officiating.

EDNA MARIE KING

Edna Marie King, 91, formerly of Scottdale, passed away Tuesday morning, April 4, 2000, in the Greensburg Nursing and Convalescent Center, Hempfield Township. Edna was born at Owensdale in Upper Tyrone Township, Fayette County, June 10, 1908, a daughter of the late David R. and Linnie Jacobs King. Edna was a former supervisor with National Distillery at Broadford where she worked for over 30 years. Years ago she was an active member of the Owensdale United Methodist Church and the church's Sunday school class. Edna is survived by her loving family: her brother, Howard L. King of Scottdale; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by four sisters , Hazel White , Mary King, Angeline Miller and Violet Swink; and six brothers , Harold, Lester, Russell, Norman and Woodrow King and Thomas Reese. Family and friends will be received at the ROBERT B. FRANCES McCARTHY

Frances McCarthy, of White Oak, died Monday, April 3, 2000, in UPMC Shadyside. She was a member of St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak. She was born Feb. 12, 1912, in Duquesne. She is survived by sons , Paul McCarthy of White Oak and Dennis McCarthy of North Huntingdon; daughters , Claire McCarthy Strouse of Williamsport, Pa., Jeanne McCarthy of White Oak, Patricia McCarthy Lutz of Dover, N.H., and Jacqueline McCarthy Kittel of Spokane, Wash.; seven grandchildren; sisters , Dorothy Gregris of West Mifflin, Mary Vockley of North Huntingdon and Rose Dubyak of Pittsburgh; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday 6 to 9 p.m. at the JENNIFER S. JORDAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, (412) 672-6322. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 11 a.m. in St. Angela Merici Church. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin.

MARY RENEE PROSSER MILITZER

Mary Renee "Mrs. M" Prosser Militzer, 51, of North Huntingdon, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at home. She was born Sept. 27, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Mary Jane Werthman Prosser of Pittsburgh and the late Samuel Prosser. She was employed as a teacher's assistant at Chum Preschool, North Huntingdon, and was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Irwin. In addition to her mother , she is survived by her husband, Thomas Militzer; a daughter, Kari Dyer of Berwick, Pa.; two sons , Mark Militzer of Pittsburgh and Timothy Militzer of Akron, Ohio; three grandchildren, Michael L., Elizabeth M., and Samantha P. Dyer; two sisters , Jayne Danhires of Pittsburgh and Shana Seipel of Mt. Lebanon; two brothers , Samuel Prosser of Pittsburgh and Gery Prosser of Castle Shannon; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception.

JOHN F. MONTANI

John F. Montani, 50, of Manor, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, in the UPMC Presbyterian, Oakland. He was born Dec. 5, 1949, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Samuel A. and Ann Lawson Montani. For most of his life, he was employed as a novelty manager at Three Rivers Stadium, Pittsburgh. He was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission as a maintenance foreman for the Hutchinson Bypass. Served on Manor Borough council from February 1989, to Dec. 31, 1999, and served as president for most of those years. He was an active member and steward of the Teamster Local 250 of Pittsburgh and Local 30 of Jeannette. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife, Susan Wagner Montani; a daughter, Samantha Ann Montani of Annapolis Md.; two brothers , Roy Montani of Callery, Pa., and Rick Montani of Cranberry; and two sisters , Judy Porterfield and Debbie Montani, both of Pine Township. Friends will be received at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., Fifth and Oak streets, Irwin, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday in the funeral home chapel at a time to be announced. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Pine Township. John was a heart transplant recipient, and the family requests that memorials be made to C.O.R.E. of Pittsburgh.

KENNETH D. MOORE

Kenneth D. Moore, of Pittsburgh, quietly on Friday, March 31, 2000. Husband of Vivian Z. Moore. Beloved Father of Lane Shelby Moore. Brother of Leonard G. and Edward L. Moore, both of Philadelphia. Also survived by two sisters -in-law, nieces and nephews, and granddog, Reed-Ito. Memorial service Friday 11 a.m. at WHITE MEMORIAL CHAPEL OF POINT BREEZE, 7204 Thomas Blvd. at North Homewood Avenue.

MARTHA A. MROZENSKI

Martha A. Mrozenski, 70, of Latrobe, died Monday, April 3, 2000, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born in Latrobe, Dec. 15, 1929, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Steligo Buchek. She was a member of Holy Family Church, Latrobe, and was a self-employed laundromat operator. She was also a member of Good Friends Fire Co. 5 Ladies Auxiliary and was an avid bingo player. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Donald Buchek; three brothers , Frank, Walter and Charles Buchek; and five sisters , Agnes Cardarella, Helen Charlesworth, Veronica Smartnick, Mary Hite and Cecelia White . She is survived by her husband, Henry S. Mrozenski; a son, Michael H. Mrozenski of Latrobe; two daughters , Debra A. Conte and her husband, James "Queenie," of Latrobe and Lisa M. Felbaum and her husband, Thomas J., of Latrobe; two brothers -in-law, John Smartnick of Greensburg and Samuel Hite of Texas ; four grandchildren, Richard H. Felbaum, Stephanie N. Felbaum, Emily A. Conte and Renee M. Conte; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Unity Township.

ELMER F. MUCHONEY SR.

Elmer F. Muchoney Sr., 82, formerly of Calumet, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, in UPMC Passavant, McCandless. He was born Aug. 15, 1917, in Trauger, a son of the late John and Suzanna Kubina Muchoney. He was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Trauger. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by PPG Industries, South Greensburg. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Norvelt Senior Citizens, Musician Local 339, an honorary life member of the Calumet Fire Department, a member of the Hecla Sportsmen's Club, Norvelt Fireman's Club; the VFW Post 3368 and the American Legion Post 446, both of Mt. Pleasant, and the AMVETS Post 94 of United. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers , Joseph, Andrew, Michael, John, and Steve Muchoney; and a sister, Mary Kundla. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia "Sis" Albright Muchoney; two sons , Elmer F. "Al" Muchoney Jr. and his wife, Janet, of Warrensville, Pa., and James R. Muchoney and his wife, Joanne, of Wexford; five grandchildren, Mark Muchoney, Beth Groff, Julie, Justin and Jessica Muchoney; two great-grandchildren, Bryan and Sara Muchoney; three sisters , Sue Farzati of United, Ann Kowash of Mt. Pleasant, and Helen Krynicky of Carpentertown; a brother, Julius Muchoney of Norvelt; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Panachida will be held in the funeral home Friday at 9:15 a.m., followed by Divine Liturgy to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church with the Rev. Christopher R. Burke as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Trauger. military graveside services will be accorded. Parastas will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 7 p.m. Family and friends, if desired, may make memorial contributions to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, RD3, Latrobe, PA 15650, or L.A.S./Passavant, 401 S.
