Janet C. Sage, 61, of Kunkletown died Sunday at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Charles Sage.
Born in Middletown, Ohio, she was the daughter of Elsie (Friese) Mikaden of Kunkletown and the late Michael Mikaden.
She had been on the staff of the Carbon-Monroe-Pike Counties Drug and Alcohol Commission in Stroudsburg. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert.
In addition to her mother Elsie, she is survived by an aunt, Margaret Coyle of Metuchen, N.J., and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, at the Donald N. Gower Funeral Home Inc., Route 209, Gilbert, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert, with the Rev. William McCawley celebrant.
Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.

Grace C. Reynolds, 99, of Stroudsburg, died Sunday in Pleasant Valley Manor, Hamilton Township, where she had resided since 1985. She was the wife of the late Lloyd W. Reynolds, who died in 1988.
Born on Nov. 14, 1899, in Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Loretta (Miller) Spitzner and had lived in Stroudsburg all of her life. She had worked for the Monroe Silk Mills and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Berean Bible Fellowship Church, Stroudsburg.
She is survived by four sons , Lloyd H. Reynolds of East Stroudsburg, Kenneth E. Reynolds, husband of Lois of Gettysburg; Elwood J. Reynolds of Lakewood, N.J.; and Ralph M. Reynolds, husband of Nicole of Brodheadsville; a daughter, Marjorie L. Reynolds Erich, wife of Norman of Pen Argyl; one granddaughter, Jan Reynolds, wife of Eric Hagquist of Falls Church, Va.; a step-granddaughter, Deborah Griffin, wife of Swannie Griffin III of Bethlehem; a brother, Eugene Spitzner of Stroudsburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Siptroth.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Carl C. Cassel officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
A viewing will be Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Anthony R. "Bob Z." Ziolkowski, 58, of East Stroudsburg, died on Sunday at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Doris (Holimbowsky) Ziolkowski at home.
He was born March 31, 1941, in Trenton, N.J., the son of the late Francis and Peggy (Reinhard) Chiappetta.
Prior to his retirement in 1977, he was employed at U.S. Steel Fairless Works in Fairless Hills, as a motor inspector in the sheet and tin mill for more than 30 years. He was a member of the United Steelworkers of America Local 4889.
He was a 1959 graduate of Trenton Catholic Boys High School, Trenton, N.J. He was the Trenton Pro Single Dart League champion in the late 1970s. He also finished third in 1977 in the U.S. Open and also was the 1977 Washington Open Champion.
He was a friend of Bill W. for 13 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa A., wife of Joseph Armstrong of Chalfont; two sons , Robert A. Ziolkowski of Mertztown and Kenneth M. Ziolkowski of Trenton, N.J.; one stepdaughter, Stacey, wife of Kevin Bryan of Perkasie; three sisters , Bonnie Gorman, Theresa Hugg and Peggy Macheda, all of Trenton, N.J.; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 3, from the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, 23 N. Ninth St., Stroudsburg.
Burial will follow in the Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg. A viewing will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at the funeral home.

Wesley W. Smith, 73, of Winter Springs, Fla., and formerly of Gilbert, died November 3, 1998 in Winter Springs.
He was the husband of Ruth (Armbruster) Smith of Winter Springs.
Born in Gilbert, he was a son of the late John and Lizzie (Greenamoyer) Smith.
He had owned and operated his own excavating and construction business in Gilbert for many years.
He was a member of Salem St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kresgeville.
He was a member of Barger Lodge # 325 Free and Accepted Masons in Stroudsburg and the Irem Temple in Wilkes-Barre. He was a member of the BPOE in East Stroudsburg, the American Legion Post 927 in Gilbert and the Western Pocono Lions Club. He was a former director of the West End Fair Association.
He served in the Army artillery during World War II.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sandra L. Fehnel in Florida; a brother, James Smith of Kunkletown Road; two sisters , Myra Beck and Iva Nenscel, both of Gilbert; two granddaughters, Carey Wicks and Staci Unseth, both of Florida; and two great granddaughters, Tari and Danielle Unseth, both of Florida.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday from the Kresge Funeral Home, Route 209, Brodheadsville, with the Rev. Deborah Scheffey officiating. Burial will be in Gilbert Cemetery.

Russel A. Miller, 75, late of Dingman's Ferry, died on Sat., May 29, at home. He was the husband of Cecelia (Suchocki) Miller of Dingman's Ferry. They were married on July 10, 1965.
He was born in Waymart on December 25, 1923, the son of Lennace and Gwen (Terrel) Miller.
He worked as plant machine operator for John's Manville Corp. in Manville, N.J., where he lived for 35 years, before retiring in Dingman's Ferry.
He was a United States Navy veteran. He was a member of the Manville, N.J. Veterans of Foreign Wars, Tilgman-Angle-Smith American Legion Post #851 Dingman's Ferry, and the Moose Club in Bound Brook, N.J.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard W. and Lois Miller of Rohnert Park, Calif.; four brothers , Frank Miller of Alaska, Lester Miller of Indiana, Gordon Miller and Donald Miller, both of Honesdale; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Bridenstein in 1990.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wed., June 2, at Stroyan Funeral Home Inc., 405 W. Harford Street, Milford. Tilgman-Angle-Smith American Legion Post #851 will conduct services prior to the funeral service.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.

Frances M. Glebocki, 61, of Tobyhanna, died on Monday, May 31, at Pocono Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Richard Glebocki.
She was born in Jersey City on May 23, 1938, the daughter of the late Nickholas and Betty (Licatese) Taglioreni of Tobyhanna.
She worked in Jersey City as a bookkepper for several years. She was a resident of Monroe County for the past four years.
In addition to her mother , she is survived by a daughter, Donna Marie Glebocki of Tobyhanna; a son, Richard Glebocki of Tobyhanna; and a sister, Mildred Stiles of Port Charlet, Fla.
A memorial service will take place at a later time.
Cremation will take place at the H.G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg.

Reba F. (Post) Treible, 83, of Olathe, Kansas, and formerly of Stroudsburg, died Tuesday in the Olathe Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Evan A. Treible who died in 1991.
Born on February 7, 1916 in Smithfield Township, she was the daughter of the late Reeder and Florence (Mosier) Bartholomew and had lived all of her life in Stroudsburg before moving to Kansas in 1996. She had worked for the Ronson Corporation in Delaware Water Gap for 21 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of the Stroudsburg United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Berry of Olathe, Kansas; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Benjamin Post of Kunkletown; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be held on Friday, June 4, at 2 p.m. in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.

Sarah M. Frantz, 78, of East Stroudsburg, died Monday in Stroud Manor, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of the late George L. Frantz.
Born on June 20, 1920, in White Plains, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Boise and Sarah (Brake) Marchman and had lived in the area since 1946. She had worked as a supervisor for Bell Telephone and AT&T.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, East Stroudsburg; the Telephone Pioneers; the Pocono Singles Club and a former member of the Society of the 28th Division Auxiliary. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross and a Gray Lady at Pocono Medical Center.
She was community minded and a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who were touched by her life.
She is survived by a son, Frederick Frantz of East Stroudsburg; a daughter, Sarah Ann Wilmot of Sterling; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two brothers , Comer Marchman of Macon, Ga., and Donald Marchman of Gray, Ga.; a sister, Shirley Bass of Lizella, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers , Raymond Marchman, Henry Sterling Marchman and Bobby Marchman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5, at 10:30 a.m. in the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg, with Rev. David Cornell officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
There will be a viewing on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

John Gurchak, 79, of East Stroudsburg, died Monday, May 31, at Stroud Manor.
Born in Pittsburgh on May 26, 1920, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Rose) Gurchak.
He was employed by Row Manufacturing Company of Texas .
He was a resident of Monroe County since 1984 and prior to that of New Jersey.
He was a veteran of the United States Army of World War II and served in the 1755th Engineer Treadway Bridge Company.
He is survived by two sisters , Katherine Bibick of Whippany, N.J., and Mary Walters of Morristown, N.J.; and a niece, Marie Waters of Lake Hopatcong, N.J.
A graveside service will be held on June 3 at 2 p.m. at the Sand Hill Cemetery in Middle Smithfield Township with the Reverend Raymond Poortstra officiating.
There will be no viewing.

Edith Pooley, 93, of Cumbria, England, died May 30 in Maryport, Cumbria, England. She was the widow of Cecil Pooley.
She was a community leader, member of the Crosby Flower Club and the Parochial Church Council in Crosscanonby, England, for many years. She was President of the Women's Institute for 50 years. She was a frequent visitor in East Stroudsburg.
She is survived by a son, John C. Pooley, husband of Carol, of East Stroudsburg; a daughter, Margaret Phillips, wife of Anthony, of Wolverhampton, England; six grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Virginia Pooley Dinnell.

Richard A. Bullock Sr., 51, of Saylorsburg, formerly of Cedar Knolls, N.J., died suddenly on May 31, 1999.
He was born in Morristown, N.J., and lived in Cedar Knolls, N.J., until moving to Saylorsburg nine years ago.
He was the husband of Sandra (Latella) Bullock; the Father of Richard Jr. and Diane M., both of Saylorsburg; brother of Jean Bullock and Edward Bullock, both of Cedar Knolls, N.J.
He worked for Sandoz-Novartis in East Hanover, N.J., as a warehouse foreman for 28 years, retiring in 1998.
He was a member of the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps and the Pleasant Valley Choral Society in Brodheadsville. He was an instructor with the Pleasant Valley High School Marching Band. He was also a former member of the Chieftains Drum and Bugle Corp. of Lehigh Valley. He was also a former member of the New York Skyliners Drum and Bugle Corp.
He was a member of the Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Brodheadsville.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 927 in Gilbert.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Road, Whippany, N.J., on Friday, June 4, at 10 a.m. with burial following at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, N.J.
