Lillian M. Morris, 77, a resident of Millcroft Senior Living Community, 255 Possum Park Road, Newark, Delaware died Thursday at her residence with her family present. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday. from the McCrery Memorial Chapel, Kirkwood Highway and Duncan Road Wilmingham, Del. where friends may call after 1 p.m. Interment will be in White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Newark. Mrs. Morris was a homemaker. Her husband Norman L. Morris died in 1976.
She is survived by a son, Donald S. Smith of Ft. Myers, Fla.; three daughters , Sandra S. Blake of Stroudsburg, Sharon L. Morris of Newark, and Bonnie L. Tatum of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one brother, Jay Albertson Jr. of Stroudsburg; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and her dear friend Margaret Johnson of Newark

Robert LeRoy Getz

Robert LeRoy Getz, 86, of RR 1 Kunkleton, and formerly of Kresgeville, died Sunday in Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elma (Barlieb) Getz.
Born in Meckesville, he was a son of the late Robert and Ursula (Meckes) Getz.
He had been an auditor and school bus driver in Penn Forest Township for 12 years. He and his wife had also owned and operated This Old House hotel in Star Route Jim Thorpe, for 10 years. He had been a mechanic at various area garages for 15 years. He had also owned and operated Getz's Saw Shop in Kresgeville for many years. He retired in 1980.
He was also an avid photographer.
He was a member of Salem St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kresgeville.
He is survived by one brother, Lawrence Getz of RR1 Kunkletown; and by one sister Orphelia, wife of James Murphy of RR1 Kunkleton. He was preceded in death by four brothers , Warren, Maurice, Luther, and Wilbur Getz; and by two sisters , Ella Philip and Minerva Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 22 from Salem St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kresgeville, with the Rev. Deborah Scheffey officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Kunkletown. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the church.

Maria T. Marino, 62, of Pocono Summit died Tuesday, April 20, at home. She was the wife of Joseph Marino.
She was born in New York City, the daughter of Josephine (Guardino) and the late John Fusco.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Marino was employed as a bookkeeper.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mount Pocono.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John O'Shea of Effort; a daughter, Jeanine Zelo of Long Island, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.
Monsignor Arthur Kaschenbach will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 23, at St. Mary of the Mount Church, Fairview Avenue, Mount Pocono. Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, April 21, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, April 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, Corner of Routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley.

Joyce O. Edney, 86, of Saylorsburg, died on Monday, April 19, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Arthur R. Edney.
She was born in New York City, a daughter of the late Normand and Beatrice (Millar) Olmstead. She had been a resident of Saylorsburg for the past 9 years. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Stroudsburg.
She is survived by three daughters , Isabel Hewitt of Monroe, N.Y., Elizabeth Nanovic of North Yarmouth, Maine, and Cynthia Holmes of East Meadow, N.Y.; a son, Robert N. Edney of Horseheads, N.Y.; two sisters , Beatrice Nichols of Saylorsburg and Faith Olmstead of East Stroudsburg; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Normand H. Olmstead.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 23, at 10 a.m. in the Christ Episcopal Church, 205 N. 7th Street, Stroudsburg with Father Joseph DeAscetis officiating.
Interment will be on Saturday, April 24, at noon in the Hillside Cemetery, Wilton, Connecticut. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg.

Blanche A. Cramer LaBadie, 83, of East Stroudsburg, died Tuesday in Stroud Manor, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of the late Wilmer Cramer, who died in 1965, and the late Robert C. LaBadie, who died in 1990.
Born on December 2, 1915 in Tobyhanna, she was the daughter of the late Howard A. and Lillian M. (Sebring) Strunk and had lived in the area most of her life. She had worked for the Acme Market in the meat department in East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg for twenty-five years, retiring in 1977.
She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, East Stroudsburg; a former member of the Beakleyville Baptist Church, East Stroudsburg; and was very active at the Loder Senior Center in East Stroudsburg.
She is survived by two sons , Douglas W. Cramer of Stroudsburg and Roger A. Cramer of East Stroudsburg; a daughter, Carol I. Hutson of East Stroudsburg; three step- daughters : Linda George, Elaine Paragino, and Debra Bush, all of East Stroudsburg; a step-son, Christian LaBadie of East Stroudsburg; three brothers : Samuel Strunk of Analomink; Carl Strunk of Stroudsburg; and Frederick Strunk of Delaware Water Gap; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence V. Cramer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg, with Rev. Lynn Lesoine officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Hill Memorial Garden, East Stroudsburg.
There will be a viewing on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Franklin D. Longenbach, 65, of Brodheadsville, died Tuesday in South Lake Hospital, Clermont, Florida.
He was the husband of Brenda (Shupp) Longenbach. They had observed their 11th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
Born in Danielsville, he was a son of the late Arthur Longenbach and the late Elda (Haydt) Longenbach-Greenzweig.
He had been a broker and president of Koehler-Marvin Realty in Brodheadsville for 25 years. He was also a real estate developer. Prior to that he had been a supervisor at the former R & R Toy Factory in Pen Argyl for 19 years and had owned and operated Frankie's French Fries in Kunkletown for 16 years.
He was a member of Zion United Lutheran Church in Brodheadsville.
A 32nd degree mason, he was a member of the Blue Lodge #594 in Pen Argyl, the Lehigh Consistory, the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Pocono Forest #124, and the Rajah Temple in Reading.
He had served on the Board of Directors of the 1st National Bank of Palmerton for 27 years. He was a past Director of the West End Fair Association, a member of the Pocono Mountains Association of Realtors and the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Frankie A. Longenbach of Brodheadsville; four daughters : Bonnie K. Keller of Gilbert; Maxine A. Scheller of Brodheadsville; Wanda J. Casella of Greeley; and Robin A. Snyder of Kunkletown; a step-daughter, Ronda L. Meitzler of Brodheadsville; a brother, Dale A. Greenzweig of Kunkletown; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Quillas Longenbach.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday from the Kresge Funeral Home, Route 209 Brodheadsville, with the Rev. William Zimmermann officiating. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville. A viewing will be held on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Masonic services will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday from the funeral home.

DeLeila Curcio, age 81, of Pen Argyl, died Fri., June 4, at Muhlenberg Hospital Center in Bethlehem. She was the wife of Domenic "Tommy" Curcio. They had been married 61 years.
Born in Pen Argyl, she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Lucia (DeNardi) Lorenzet.
She and her husband were Founders, and owned and operated Tommy's Highway and Curcio Ford in Pen Argyl, for many years.
She was a member of St. Roch's Catholic Church in West Bangor. She was also a former member of Sodality of St. Roch's Catholic Church.
In addition to her husband, Domenic, she is survived by three sons , Anthony "Skip" P. Curcio, Thomas M. Curcio, and Richard J. Curcio, all of Pen Argyl; three sisters , Norma Liero of Wind Gap, Mary Zanchettin of Pen Argyl, and Lena Celot of Easton; three brothers , Tavio Lorenzet of Baltimore, Md., Leo Lorenzet of Baltimore, Md., and Geno Lorenzet of East Stroudsburg; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters , Alda Masut, Gallie Arconti and Sophia Barry; and one brother, Angelo Lorenzet.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Tues., June 8, at Guerro and Ruggiero Funeral Home, 126 Pennsylvania Ave., Pen Argyl. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Catholic Church in West Bangor, with Msgr. Charles Moss as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Pen Argyl.

Edward Hamilton Calkins Jr., 87, of Gaylord, Mich., died Wed., June 2, at his home.
He was born January 8, 1912 in Stroudsburg.
In 1931, he graduated from high school and attended several colleges, universities, and industrial schools, including Washington & Jefferson , Muhlenberg, East Stroudsburg University, University of Hawaii and Wayne State University.
His professional life was extensive and included: office manager of Monroe County U.S. Employment Service from 1934 to 1935; store manager of B.F. Goodrich Retail Store, Stroudsburg, from 1936 to 1937; service engineer and service manager for General Motors, Rochester, from 1950 to 1961; owned and operated Ken Mar on the Hill Resort in Otsego from 1961 to 1970; and executive director of Gaylord/Ostego Chamber of Commerce, from 1970 to 1974.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 as Battalion Commander, and Captain. While employed by G.M., 1947 to 1948, he supervised and taught a W.W.II Veterans Rehabilitation Program in Auto Mechanics at East Stroudsburg High School.
Mr. Calkins was very devoted to his community and his accomplishments and memberships were many.
He received the Minute Man Award, the Certificate of Honor from Gov. William G. Milliken, and the Michigan Academy of Volunteer Leadership Award.
He was the chairman and on the board of trustees of Otsego Memorial Hospital; president of Gaylord Rotary Club; vice-president of Gaylord Chamber of Commerce; trustee for the Education Foundation of Gaylord Community Schools; and president and secretary of Gaylord Industrial Development Corp.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, on August 25, 1990. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Cynthia, wife of Joe Grigg of Harbor Springs, Mich.; one step granddaughter, Jennifer J. Grigg of Columbia, Mo.; one step great grandchild, Grace Grigg; one niece, Nancy Segar of Pa.; and two brothers -in-law, Henry Worthington of Shawnee-on-Delaware and John Chaffee, Md., of Girard.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sun., June 6, from the Nelson Funeral Home, 135 North Center Street, Gaylord, Mich., with the Rev. Gerald Rehagen and Rev. Pete Clapp officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Gaylord.
Visitation at the Nelson Funeral Home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sat., June 5, and at noon until time of the service on Sunday.

Emma E. Dunbar, 89, of Stroudsburg, formerly of Bartonsville, died on Thursday evening at Laurel Manor in Stroudsburg.
Born on August 22, 1909 in Tannersville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Nettie (Halstead) Dunbar. She was a lifelong resident of Monroe County.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Congregation Church in Bartonsville.
She worked for many years at Connaught Labs in Swiftwater before retiring in 1974. She was a member of the 20 year club at Connaught.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Pocono Township Fire Company and the Pocono Garden Club.
She is survived by a niece, Joanne Pirzer of Dunnellon, Fla., and two great nephews.
Funeral services will be held on at 11 a.m. Mon., June 7, from the Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North Fifth Street, Stroudsburg, with the Rev. James E. Griel officiating. Burial will be in Custard's Cemetery, Bartonsville.
There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Barbara A. Fisher, 74, of Pocono Lake died Wednesday, April 21, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. She was the wife of Robert E. Fisher who died in 1981.
She was born in Richmond Hill, N.Y., the daughter of the late Josephine and Herman Russell. A resident of the Pocono Lake community for the last four years, she raised her family in Elmont, L.I., where she lived for 46 years.
Before her retirement, she was employed as a confectionery chef.
Barbara was a wonderful, loving mother , a wise teacher, and a friend to those who touched her life. She will be lovingly remembered by many.
Barbara is survived by two daughters , Patricia Matthies of Long Pond and Adele Miller of Pocono Lake; a son, Robert Fisher of Lagrange, N.Y.; a sister, Joan Palumbo of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Peter Petrides and Tina Kallamni; and two great-grandchildren, Mathew and Tyler Petrides.
Friends may call on Friday, April 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, Corner of Routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley.
Monsignor Joseph Kelly will conduct a memorial prayer service at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 23, at the funeral home.
