EDWIN A. KRUSEY

Edwin A. Krusey, 82, of Delmont, died Sunday, March 26, 2000, in his loving home. He was born July 1, 1917, in Monroeville, a son of the late Andrew and Minnie (Dombrosky) Krusey. He was the former owner of Krusey Block Co. in Monroeville. Edwin was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II, a member of the American Legion Post 247 and the AARP Murrysville Chapter 3066. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers , Gaylord and Ellwood Krusey. Edwin is survived by his wife, Ruth M. (Clark) Krusey; two daughters , Kathleen "Kathy" Smith and husband, James, of Little Genesee, N.Y., and Carol Krusey of Monroeville; two sons , Kenneth Krusey and wife, Kathy, of Greensburg and Howard Krusey and wife, Susan, of Florida; a brother, Kenneth Krusey of Monroeville; and three sisters , Dorothy Zimmerman of Harrison City, Erma Stelzl of Liberty Borough and Ruth Hill of Murrysville. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Amanda and Christopher Krusey; and a number of nieces and nephews. Entombment in Twin Valley Memorial Park was private. Edwin's funeral arrangements were handled by the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC. AT TWIN VALLEY, 463 Athena Drive, Delmont. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland Hospice, 532 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, in memory of Edwin A. Krusey. Kevin P. SAMANTHA A. MAJERCIK

Samantha A. Majercik, 10, beloved daughter of Joyce Stauffer of Jeannette and John Majercik of Indiana, Pa., formerly of Irwin, went to be with our Lord Monday, March 27, 2000, after a two-year battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 8, 1989, in Jeannette. Samantha attended Jeannette McKee Middle School. She liked to swim, ride her bike, play video games, watch the WWF on TV, and use her computer. She was the bravest little girl in the world. She was a junior member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She danced at Simply Nikki Dance School, and played soccer. She was a recipient of Make-A-Wish in October, when she went to Disney World. She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Thomas Stauffer and Joseph Majercik. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her stepfather, Thomas Griffen of Jeannette; her Father 's fiancee, Sandy Waite of Indiana, Pa.; her maternal grandmother, Norabelle Stauffer of Jeannette; paternal grandparents, Marcie and Norman Staats of Irwin; a great-grandmother, Theresa Morcheid; her best friend, Whitney Hayden; her dog, Casper; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends. Friends were received at the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette, with Father James Loew as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Jeannette Memorial Park, Penn Township. Memorial donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, or Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Fifth Avenue-Oakland, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.

WILLIAM A. MALCOMSON JR.

William A. Malcomson Jr., 87, of East McKeesport, went home with the Lord Monday, March 27, 2000. He was born April 19, 1912, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William A. Sr. and Bessie Marshall Malcomson. He was a retired employee of the Edwin L. Wiegand Co., Wilkinsburg; a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army; a member of the Monroeville Assembly of God; a volunteer for 17 years at CTV Channel 40, Wall; a member of the 700 Club; and a member for 15 years of the Park Terrace V.F.D. Survived by his wife, Margaret N. McKlveen Malcomson; two sons , William C. Malcomson of Fremont, Calif., and Kenneth L. Malcomson of San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Avis E. Wallenbeck of Rochester, N.Y.; and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the FORGIE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Monroeville Assembly of God with Pastor Lance Lecocq officiating. Please meet at the church for services. Private interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Ligonier.

JAMES R. MAXSON

James R. Maxson, 57, of Greensburg, died Sunday, March 26, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Feb. 16, 1943, in Greensburg, a son of Marie Pierce Maxson Thompson of Greensburg and the late Lester O. Maxson. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church. He was the owner of the Royal Pizza House and the Maxson Remodeling Co., both in Greensburg. He was president of the Greensburg Pool League for the past 10 years, and was an active member of various social clubs in Greensburg. In addition to his Father , he was preceded in death by his stepfather, David A. Thompson. In addition to his mother , surviving are his wife, Karen McCallen Maxson; children, J.R. Maxson and wife, Bobbie, of Greensburg, Jeff E. Maxson and wife, Cathleen, of New Stanton and John C. Maxson of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Dustin, Jonathan and Luke; brothers , Ronald Maxson and wife, Nancy, and Jack Maxson and wife, Elaine; and a sister, Donna Ruble and husband, Barry, all of Greensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends were received Tuesday and will be received Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. A blessing service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.

JOHN G. McLAUGHLIN

John G. McLaughlin, 79, of North Huntingdon, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at his home. He was born June 12, 1920, in North Irwin, a son of the late James and Anna Jeannette Lavell McLaughlin. Prior to retirement, he was employed as supervisor of security for General Motors Fisher Body Plant, Dravosburg. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church of North Huntingdon. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Biss McLaughlin; five sisters , Ann, Marie, Agnes, Rita and Emma; and two brothers , Jim and Owen. Surviving are his wife, Theresa Conroy McLaughlin; four sons , Richard "Mac" McLaughlin of Greensburg, Kevin and his wife, Cherly McLaughlin, of Washington , Pa., Keith and his wife, Cathy McLaughlin, of North Hills and Patrick and his wife, Mary McLaughlin, of North Huntingdon; two grandsons, Sean and Patrick "PJ" McLaughlin; three brothers , Patrick McLaughlin of Banning, Calif., Francis McLaughlin of Jeannette and Bernard McLaughlin of Liberty Borough. Friends were received at the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., Fifth and Oak streets, Irwin, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Entombment will follow in the Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon. Memorials may be made to the Westmoreland Hospice, 532 W. SCOTT B. McMICHAEL

Scott B. McMichael, 39, of Southwest Greensburg, died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at his home. He was born March 10, 1961, in Hershey, a son of J. Norman McMichael and Frances A. Meyer McMichael of Cleona. He was a former employee of Southwest Bank and presently working for the Mars National Bank. He was a graduate of Clarion University and was a member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren. Surviving are his parents; his wife, Judy Gongaware McMichael and children, Emily Ann McMichael and Hannah Lynn McMichael, all at home; and sisters , Lori K. Shyda and Susan K. Graves, both of Cleona. There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the First Lutheran Church, 246 S. Main St., Greensburg, with the Rev. E. Allen Scanlon officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall of the church. The family requests memorial contributions to the Greensburg Hempfield Library, 237 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg. KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME of Greensburg in charge of the arrangements.

MICHAEL RUSSIN

Michael "Mike" Russin, 82, of Rillton, died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at the Huntingdon Ridge Mature Living Home, North Huntingdon. He was born April 18, 1917, in Rillton, a son of the late Louis and Julia (Stehney) Russin. Prior to his retirement, Mike was employed by Westinghouse Airbrake in the shipping department. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II and being awarded the Purple Heart, a Distinguished Medal of Honor and two Bronze Stars. Mike was a member of St. Edward Roman Catholic Church, Herminie, and the church Altar Rosary Society and Sunshine Club. He was also a longtime usher at his church and was a life member of the Rillton VFW Post #8518. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Russin; and a sister, Mary Pekarsky. Michael "Mike" is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathryn (DeMichela) Russin; a daughter, Michelle Eisele and her husband, Mark, of North Huntingdon; two grandsons, Justin and Jonathan Eisele; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., Herminie, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Edward R.C. Church, Herminie, with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas as celebrant. Interment with full military honors accorded by the Greensburg VFW Post #33 Honor Guard will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery. A St. Edward Parish wake service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m., followed by a parish rosary in the funeral home. The Rillton VFW Post #8518 will meet for services Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. EDNA M. (MILLER) ALEANDRI
Edna M. (Miller) Aleandri, 70, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, in the Greensburg Nursing and Convalescent Center, Hempfield Township. She was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Earl and Gertrude Jackson Miller. She was a member of the Church of St. Paul, Greensburg. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. Aleandri Sr., in 1996; a brother, Earl Miller Jr.; and a sister, Dolle Lane. Survived by two sons , Michael A. Jr. and his wife, Nancy P. Aleandri, of Greensburg and Timothy E. Aleandri of Havelock, N.C.; three daughters , Victoria C. Aleandri of Hartford, Conn., Michele R. and her husband, Michael Conforti, of Monroeville, and Toni M. and her husband, Mark Winter, of Greensburg; six grandchildren, Kristin Burke, Michael Richard Aleandri, Elizabeth Conforti, Anthony Conforti, Matthew Winter and Nicholas Winter; a great-granddaughter, Lauren Bayura; a brother, Larry Miller of Greensburg; and three sisters , Helen and her husband, George "Poe" Leone, of Latrobe, Joyce and her husband, Kenneth "Popeye" Burke, of Derry, and Martha and her husband, Fred Taylor, of Oklahoma ; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 11:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at noon in the Church of St. Paul, Greensburg, with the Rev. MARY LOUISE ANDREWS
Mary Louise "Mandy" Andrews, 72, of Elizabeth Township, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000. Born Nov. 29, 1927, in Glassport, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Mae Passaro Sebastian. Wife of William N. Andrews. mother of Anita Kovalsky of Monroeville and Deborah L. Andrews of Reston, Va. Grandmother of Karen and Kristen Kovalsky. Sister of Odessa Petro and Joyce Dudik, both of North Huntingdon, Rose Gouker of Liberty Borough and Joe Sebastian of Clairton; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the DANIEL F. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, Elizabeth Township. WALTER W. COLDREN
Walter W. Coldren, 78, of Delmont, died Sunday, March 26, 2000, in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. He was born June 11, 1921, in Rockland Township, a son of the late Floyd E. and Gertrude Richey Baker Coldren. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Murrysville. He was a general sales manager at Beckwith Machinery in Murrysville, serving 44 years before retiring in 1981. He served his country during World War II in the South Pacific as a Marine corporal. He was awarded two Purple Hearts and the Silver Star during these conflicts. He was a member of the Delmont VFW Post 481, Syria Temple, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, F&AM of Bethesda, Ohio, a lifetime member, and the B.P.O.E., Clearfield, Pa. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Coldren; and a sister, Annabel Ritts. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Mary Jane Newton Coldren; a daughter, Polly Coldren Negich and husband, John A. Negich, of Butler, and grandson, J. Brandon Negich; a son, Roger W. Coldren, Dc., of Murrysville, his wife, Robin Vrudney Coldren, grandson, R. Shawn Coldren, and two granddaughters, Kelly and Brooke Coldren; a daughter, Lorie Coldren Bollibon of Murrysville, her husband, James C. Bollibon, and three granddaughters, Leslie, Alaina and Renae Bollibon; a goddaughter, Lesley Dexter Straw of Gibsonia, her husband, James Straw, and children Erin and Riley; two sisters , Mabel Woods of Emlenton and Carolyn Wyant of Cochranton; three brothers , Clifford Coldren of Forest City, N.C., Lewis Coldren of Alex City, Ala., and Clyde Coldren of Cochranton. THERESA MARIE LUCZKI CRAMER
Theresa Marie Luczki Cramer, 38, of Liberty Street, Scottdale, East Huntingdon Township (Thornwood), died early Wednesday morning, March 29, 2000, at her residence. She was born May 20, 1961, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Henry Luczki of Thornwood and the late Esther Lorraine Chambers Luczki, who died Dec. 11, 1985. Theresa was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Everson, and attended the former St. Joseph Parochial School, Everson. She was also a graduate of Southmoreland Senior High School, Class of 1979. Theresa was a former employee of Warehouse Groceries, Foodland of Connellsville, and McDonald's, Cross Roads Plaza. She was a former cook and caterer for the Scottdale Elks, where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Theresa will be remembered for her kindness, flowers, and delicious holiday cookies. She will be remembered for her cookie booth at the Heritage Festival. In addition to her Father , Henry Luczki of Thornwood, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Donald E. Cramer Sr., with whom she celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on Aug. 22, 1999; six children, Chad Cramer and Megan Cramer, both at home, Donald E. Cramer Jr. of Pittsburgh, Tracy Snyder and her husband, Matt, of Country Club Road, Sherry Cramer of Mt. Pleasant, and Douglas S. Cramer at home; two grandchildren, Miranda and Charles Mills of Mt. Pleasant; four brothers and a sister, Adam Luczki and his wife, Geri, of Scottdale RD1, Michael Luczki and his wife, Jhanna, of Dawson, Stephen Luczki and his wife, Lynn, of Flatwoods, Bernadine Bricker and her husband, Richard, of Scottdale RD, and Peter Luczki and his wife, Rhonda, of Mt. Pleasant; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to her mother , Theresa was preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole Cramer, who died Jan. 8, 1979; and a brother, Richard Terry Luczki, who died in 1955. MARY T. DeNUNZIO
Mary T. DeNunzio, 90, of Jeannette, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, in the Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 5, 1909, in Armbrust, a daughter of the late Angelo and Maria Zappone Fontana. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the former Jeannette Glass Co., and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church of Jeannette. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Anthony M. DeNunzio, in 1978; three sisters , Carmella Sanders, Rose Russo and Frances Hovaniec; and four brothers , John and Domenick Fontana and Ernest and Angelo Verdone. She is survived by a daughter, Antoinette Lancashire and her husband, James, and a son, Tony D. DeNunzio Sr., all of Jeannette; two sisters , Mary Fontana and husband, James, of North Huntingdon and Angeline Stuart of Cleveland, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends received at the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette, beginning Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church. FRANCES ZALAC FISHER
Frances Zalac Fisher, 79, of Latrobe RD2, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Aug. 8, 1920, in South Greensburg, a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Zalac. She was a retired employee of the Westinghouse plant in Youngwood and was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Latrobe and the Senior Citizens Groups in New Alexandria and at St. John's Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters , Mary and Genny; and brother, Millie. Surviving are her husband, Foster W. Fisher; a sister, Ann Curry of Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday. Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.

LYNN L. FREEMAN
Lynn L. Freeman, 87, of Greensburg, formerly of Latrobe, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, in IHS of Greater Pittsburgh at Greensburg. He was born July 3, 1912, in Mutual, a son of the late William A. and Sarah M. Patton Freeman. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Kennametal Co., Latrobe. Lynn was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army, and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg, Loyalhanna Lodge #275, F&AM, the Latrobe 515 Veterans Home Association, and the American Legion Post 515 of Latrobe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel Kemerer Freeman; his second wife, Dorothy "Betty" Bossart Freeman; and the following brothers and sisters : William and Edward Freeman, Ruth Ackerman, Jane Weldon, Eleanor and Thomas Freeman. Surviving are two sisters , Virginia L. Baker of Mt. Pleasant RD1 and Laurabelle F. Lavish of Trauger; his special and loyal companion, Buffy; four stepchildren, William E. Bossart of Hillside, Pa., Donna L. Morgan of Pittsburgh, Ruth Jeannine Furlong of Odenton, Md., and Charles E. Bossart of Pittsburgh; eight stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gene R. Stuckey Sr. officiating.
