Deborah Sue Schlier, 30, of Tannersville, died Tuesday. She was the wife of Jim Schlier, at home.
Born on March 26, 1968, she was the daughter of Alfred and Phyllis Jones of Mount Pocono and had lived in the area all of her life.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Jimmy Allen Schlier II, and a daughter, Jamie Sue Schlier, both at home; her twin sister, Rebecca Heller of Stroudsburg; a brother, Burton Jones of Mount Pocono; her mother -in-law and Father -in-law, Vernon and Nobuko Schlier of Mount Pocono; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Margaret Ann "Margy" Wilson, 53, of Middle Smithfield Township, died on Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998 in her home after a long illness with cancer.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late David Carden and Margaret Blanche (Mitchell) Wilson, Sr. She was a resident of Monroe County and also a part-time resident of Key Largo, Fla., where she resided at times for the past 15 years.
She had a career as a registered nurse, working for Preferred Payment Systems in East Stroudsburg for six years and formerly for Pocono Medical Center for 10 years. She was a 1966 graduate of West Chester Nursing School in West Chester.
She is survived by a daughter, Merya Kagatci of East Stroudsburg and a brother, David Wilson, Jr. of Ledgewood, N.J.
Memorial funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 1998 at 2 p.m. in the Middle Smithfield Presbyterian Church, Route 209, with the Reverend Robert Thomlinson officiating. There will be no viewing.
Cremation will take place in Arlington Crematory, White hall, Pa.

Hilda DeGuire, 94, formerly of Pocono Summit, Stillwater Lakes from 1971 to 1996, died Friday, Dec. 25, at Genessee Hospital, Rochester, N.Y. She was the wife of the late Alphonse DeGuire.
Born in Queens, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late George and Emma (Podewitz) Thompson, and was the bookkeeper for Peck Memorial Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Mount Pocono.
She is survived by a sister, Lillian McLean of Long Island, N.Y., and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters , Jeanne Dickie, Elsie Callen, and Caroline Pusey.
The Reverend Dr. William Hausmann will conduct a funeral service on Monday, Dec. 28, at 1 p.m. at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 675 Belmont Avenue, Mount Pocono. There will be a viewing from noon until the time of the service. Interment will follow at the Pocono Lake Cemetery. Rev. Harry Robert Anderson, 82, of Stroudsburg, died Saturday, Dec. 26, in Stroud Manor, East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Barbara (Barthold) Anderson, at home.
Born on Sept. 30, 1916 in Elyria, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ernest L. and Anna M. (Franke) Anderson and had lived in the area since 1943. A 1981 graduate of Wesley Seminary, he was a retired clergyman in the United Methodist Church of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference serving as Pastor of the Wooddale United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Stroudsburg United Methodist Church.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the George N. Kemp Post #346 American Legion, East Stroudsburg; a member of the Page Lodge #270 F. & A.M., Schuylkill Haven; member and past officer of the AARP #633; Chairman of the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council; member of the Advisory Board/Board of Directors of Pocono Area Transitional Housing; was on the original Board of Directors of Retired Senior Volunteer Program; and was a volunteer with Lehigh Valley Hospice.
After his discharge, he worked at the A.A. Laufer Auto Agency and Abeloff Pontiac, both in Stroudsburg for many years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Arthur Robert Anderson of Stroudsburg; a step-son, David E. Lodge of Saylorsburg; four grandchildren; a brother, Richard Anderson of Fairborn, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Wooddale United Methodist Church with the Reverend Robert Shrom, Reverend Drew Parsons, and Reverend Thomas Anderman officiating. Private burial was in the Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg.

Alberta M. Williams, 89, of 12 Owl Hollow Drive, Saylorsburg, and formerly of Stroudsburg and Bangor, died Saturday, Dec. 26 in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg.
She was the widow of Harry Williams who died in 1975.
Born April 7, 1909 in Saylorsburg, a daughter of the late Lewis Eugene and Anna Edna (Phipps) Smith.
She was a member of the Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church, Hamilton Township, Pa.
She is survived by one daughter, Doris Abruzzese, with whom she resided, a half-brother, Lewis Smith of Nazareth, a step-brother, Lincoln Altemose of Pen Argyl, a step-sister Doris Gearhart of Saylorsburg, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A daughter Geraldine Larson and a son Lewis Williams preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday from the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 200 S. Robinson Ave., Pen Argyl. Interment in the Lake View Cemetery, Saylorsburg. Call on Monday from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

William Worrell Still, 65, of Lexington, Va., died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital.
Born Dec. 12, 1933, in Bucks County, he was the son of the late William Worrell Still Sr. and Anna Marie (Johnson) Still. He was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church and a long-time volunteer of Roots and Shoots.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Matthews Still, Lexington, and four children: William Brady Still, Waynesboro; Linda S. Mader, Cresco; David J. Still, Mooresville, N.C.; Beth Louise Crombie, Lewisburg, Pa., also two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted Monday Dec. 28, 1998 at 7 p.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church with Reverend Paul Carter officiating. Vivian T. O'Connor, 22, of Tannersville, died from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Saturday morning in Middle Smithfield Township.
Born on Jan. 19, 1976 in Elmhurst, Queens, N.Y., she was a daughter of Denis G. and Joan A. (Bignold) O'Connor and had lived in the area for the past three years, moving here from Amityville, Long Island, N.Y. A 1994 graduate of Holy Trinity High School, Hicksville, N.Y., she was a junior at East Stroudsburg University.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandmother, Madeline Nicosia of Brentwood, N.Y.; her grandfather, Dr. Edmund O'Connor of Amityville; her sister Tracey Javis of Kannalopis, N.C.; her nephew, Geoffrey Javis and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 1:30 p.m. in the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Henry E. Zapotocki, pastor of Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church, Tannersville, officiating. Burial will follow in the Tannersville Methodist Cemetery, Learn Road, Tannersville.
There will be a visitation on Monday evening from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lloyd C. "Mick" Lockwitch Sr., 65, of Reeders, died on Monday, Dec. 28, at the Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg.
He was born in Stroudsburg, a son of the late John Sr. and Hazel (Storm) Lockwitch. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea.
Prior to his retirement in 1985, he was employed as a welder for Patterson-Kelley Co. of East Stroudsburg for 20 years. He was a life member of the CLU Club, a member of the Thomas P. Lambert Post 2540 Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the George N. Kemp Post 346 American Legion, all of East Stroudsburg.
He is survived by two daughters , Deborah Zuellig and Roxanne R. Cruz, both of Reeders; three sons , James A. Lockwitch of Cresco, Lloyd C. Lockwitch Jr. of Minisink Hills and Ronald K. Lockwitch of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Martha LeBar of Stroudsburg; four brothers , John Lockwitch of Stroudsburg, Frank Lockwitch of Kunkletown, Richard Lockwitch of Kentucky and David Lockwitch of Bangor; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by three half-sisters , Jean Tillman, Gloria Tillman and Ganelle Tillman, all of Easton; three half-brothers , Floyd Tillman of Pittsburgh, Robley Tillman of Easton and Lee Tillman of Hatboro.

Jeannine G. Marinellie, 66, of East Stroudsburg, died on Tuesday, December 29, at home. She was the wife of Robert R. Marinellie and they had just celebrated 45 years of marriage on September 19, 1998.
She was born in Ridley Park, Pa., a daughter of Charles W. Devine of Nottingham, Pa., and the late Florence (Billman) Devine. She had been a resident of Monroe County since 1979 and prior to that of Levittown, Pa. She attended the Open Bible Church in Marshalls Creek.
In addition to her husband and Father , she is survived by 2 sons , Brian R. Marinellie of East Stroudsburg and Jonathan R. Marinellie, at home; 2 sisters , La Vergne Clineff of Nottingham, Pa. and Cheryl Michener of Audubon, Pa.; 2 brothers , Jerome Devine of Downingtown, Pa. and Leland Devine of Nottingham, Pa.; 3 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 2, at 1:30 p.m. in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leon Taylor officiating.

Sister M. Saint Helen Sullivan of the sisters , Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, died on December 24 at the Marian Convent, the skilled nursing facility of the IHM sisters in Scranton, Pa.
Born in 1907 in Aliquippa, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Bridget Mannion Sullivan. She entered the I.H.M. Congregation on March 4, 1923, made her temporary profession of vows on August 15, 1925, and her final profession of vows on December 8, 1930.
She served as a teacher at Notre Dame Elementary School, East Stroudsburg, from 1975 to 1982 and as a prayer minister at Notre Dame Convent from 1982 to 1994. She was a teacher and a principal as well at schools in Pittston, Scranton, Jermyn, Kingston, Williamsport, and Pittsburgh, Pa.; Manhasset, Port Washington and Brooklyn, N.Y.; and New Bern, N.C. She was a prayer minister at the Marian Convent from 1994 to the time of her death.
She held a bachelor of arts degree in social studies from Marywood College and a master of arts degree in supervision from the University of Pennsylvania .
Surviving are a sister, Winifred Bell of Hatboro, Pa.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sister Hilarian Sullivan, IHM; and brothers , John, Dan, Thomas, Timothy, and Vincent Sullivan.
The funeral was December 29 with a Mass of Christian Burial at the Marian Convent, followed by interment at St. Catherine Cemetery, Moscow, Pa.

Patricia "Trish" Gazzillo Fredericks, 62, of Effort, died Wednesday, December 30, at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill.
Born in North Bergen, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Theresa (Vanore) Gazzillo.
She was a Nurse Educator for the West Milford Board of Education in West Milford, N.J., for 25 years until her retirement in 1995.
She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert, Pa. She was also a volunteer tutor at Pleasant Valley Elementary School since 1995. She was a member of Make A Wish Foundation.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa, wife of Joseph McFaulds, of Effort and a son, Ernest J. and his wife Joan Fredericks of Plaistow, N.H. She is also survived by 2 brothers , Nicholas "Nick" Gazzillo of North Bergen, N.J., and Dennis Gazzillo of Bricktown, N.J.; and 3 granddaughters, Maria McFaulds of Effort; Elise Fredericks and Michelle Fredericks, both of Plaistow, N.H. She had maintained a close and loving relationship with her American Field Service Children, Damian Chevalier of Belgium and Christina Bjerre of Denmark.
Viewing will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 1999, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 1999, at the Donald N. Gower Funeral Home, Inc., Route 209, Gilbert, Pa.
Funeral Services will begin 9:30 a.m., Monday, January 4, 1999, at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert with the Rev. Father William McCawley celebrant. Interment will be in the Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.
