Helen Rossiello, 80, of Saylorsburg, died Friday, May 29, in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, PA. She was the wife of Nicholas Rossiello of Saylorsburg.
Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Santa (Pellicano) Pensabene. She was a resident of Monroe County for the past 20 years.
She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church, East Stroudsburg, PA.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 sons , Richard D. Rossiello, of East Stroudsburg, and Nicholas A. Rossiello, of Naples, Fla.; 2 daughters , Phyllis Cipriano, of Old Bridge, NJ, and Barbara Giordano of Middlesex, NJ; a sister, Domenica Hill, of Stratford, CT; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 2, at 11 a.m., in St. Matthew's Catholic Church, East Stroudsburg, with Fr. Thomas J. Sokolowski officiating.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, May 31, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. and on Monday, June 1, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m., in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, PA.

William J. Keating

William J. Keating, 84, of East Stroudsburg, died Wednesday in the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Gloria (Pflugfelder) Keating, at home.
Born on March 24, 1914 in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late William J. and Lillian J. (Flood) Keating and had lived in the area for the past four years moving her from Alfred, Maine and had previously lived in Long Island, N.Y., for many years. He was a graduate of Fordham Law School, New York, N.Y., where he received his Doctorate of Law. He was director of taxes for Ingersoll-Rand in Woodcliff Lakes, N.J., for forty years retiring in 1975.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons , Mark Kenneth Keating of Palm Beach, Fla., William Keating of Shawnee-On-Delaware and Michael Patrick Keating of Ogunquit, Maine; four daughters , Grace Colby Drury of West Orange, N.J., Bridget Keating of New York, N.Y., Katherine Keating of Anthony, New Mexico and Kinnea Keating of Lubbock, Texas ; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, East Stroudsburg. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Jean Zielatkiewicz Fillo, of Levittown Pa., and formerly of Yardley, died on Thursday. She was the beloved wife of Drew G. Fillo; loving daughter of Phyllis Anciuszko; devoted mother of Kurt E. Burandt and his wife, Karen of Burlington, N.J.; Bridget Hollister and her husband, Jerry of Fairless Hills; Dieter S. Burandt and his wife, Tyanna of Holland, Pa.; and Nicole Fillo of Levittown; sister of Henry Obornick of Trenton; and grandmother of Nick, Trisha, Stephanie, Ben, Amber and Danielle.
Family and Friends may call Saturday morning between 9 and 10:30 a.m. at Beck/Givnish Funeral Home of Lower Bucks, 7400 New Falls Road, Levittown, and are invited to participate in her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Queen of The Universe Church. Interment will take place at the Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. There will be no evening viewing.

Louis M. "Har" Mongilutz, 66, Tannersville, died on Thursday morning at home.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Morris and Frieda (Pfingstl) Mongilutz.
He was a bar manager in the Poconos for many years.
He is survived by two sons , Michael Mongilutz of Coopersburg and John Mongilutz of Allentown; a granddaughter, Sara Mongilutz of Coopersburg; and friends with whom he resided, John Kelly, Michael and Jonathan Bleich of Tannersville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Route 611, Tannersville. Burial will follow in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.
There will be a viewing on Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. from the Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North Fifth Street, Stroudsburg.

Bernard J. Conlin, Jr., 53, of RR 6, Lake Ariel, died Tuesday in the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Bernard J. and Mary Donohue Conlin, Sr.
He had resided in Wayne County for the past 18 years, prior of Scotrun.
He had been employed in Real Estate Sales prior to his illness.
Bernard was an Air Force Veteran of the Viet Nam War.
He is survived by 2 sons , Brian K. Conlin and Brendan R. Conlin, at home; and a step-daughter, Leslie Cunningham, at home.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 7 in the Assembly of God Church, Hamlin, Pastor Gordon White Officiating.

Loretta H. Muhs, 81, of East Stroudsburg died Thursday in the Laurel Manor Nursing Home, Stroudsburg.
Born in Ridgewood, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Hegney) Muhs. She was a resident of Stroudsburg for the past 6 years and prior to that lived in the Ridgewood, N.Y., area.
She was a retired bookkeeper with the R.W. Greef Company of Manhattan, N.Y., having worked there for many years.
She was a member of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church of Stroudsburg and a former member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church of Ridgewood, N.Y.
She is survived by two sisters -in-law, Mary Muhs of East Stroudsburg and Rose Muhs of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church of Stroudsburg with the Rev. Father Thomas D. McLaughlin as celebrant. Burial will be in the Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the Church.

Louis Lombardi
May 19, 1998
Louis Lombardi, 73, of Tobyhanna, died Tuesday at Longmont United Hospital, Longmont, Colorado. He was the husband of Josephine (Cafiero) Lombardi, at home.
Born October 21, 1924 in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of the late George and Angelina (Pinto) Lombardi.
Mr. Lombardi was a resident of Tobyhanna with a summer home in West Palm Beach, Fla. He was visiting his sons in Longmont, Colo., at the time of his death.
He was a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Tobyhanna. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and served as an usher at St. Ann's Church.
Mr. Lombardi was a carpenter. During the 1940's and 1950's he did mostly freelance carpentry in Brooklyn and Long Island, N.Y. For a time from 1946 to 1952, he also owned a hat shop and made many hats, especially with feathers. In the late 1960's, he operated a cabinet shop. From 1964 to 1979, Mr. Lombardi was employed by the American Broadcasting Company as a carpenter to build sets for television. For many years, he was also a part time cab driver.
He was a man who believed it is better to give than receive. This showed in that he had a great heart of compassion and was always giving of himself to others.
In addition to his wife, Josephine, he is survived by 3 sons , George Lombardi and Michael Lombardi, both of Longmont, Colo., and Louis Lombardi of Tobyhanna; 1 daughter, Mary Lou Puccio, of Staten Island, N.Y.; 1 brother Salvatore Lombardi of Attica, N.Y.; 4 grandchildren, Michael Lombardi, Lisa Hoffman, Jennifer Lombardi-Nelson and Justine Lombardi-Karl; and 3 great grandchildren, Austin Lombardi, Vincent, Lombardi, and Jason Lombardi-Nelson.
An Evening Vigil took place on Wednesday, May 20, at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont, Colorado.
Funeral Services, will be held on Thursday, at 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with Rev. Lawrence Christensen officiating.
Interment will take place in Longmont Mountain View Cemetery, in Longmont, Colorado.

Jasper O. Luckey, 48, of East Stroudsburg, died Wednesday at home.
Born on February 9, 1950, in Miami, Fla., he was the son of Virginia (Moore) Lang of East Stroudsburg and the late Jasper Luckey and had lived in the area for the past 30 years. He had worked for Boyd Diller Construction, Harrisburg.
In addition to his mother , he is survived by his separated wife, Claudia (Besecker) Luckey of East Stroudsburg; four daughters , Tracy Lee of Analomink, Tara Ford of Bartonsville, Tina Luckey and Tricia Luckey, both of East Stroudsburg; four grandchildren; a brother, John Luckey of Florida; three sisters , Patricia Herberz of Dingmans Ferry, Lolleen Wilson of Port O'Connor, Texas , and Carol Snyder of Bushkill; his beloved friend, Jean Smith of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin Saturday at 12 noon at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, East Stroudsburg. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
There will be a viewing on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gladys S. Price

Gladys S. (Coslar) Price, 94, died Wednesday, May 13, after an illness. She was a resident of Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Livellara, who died in 1947. She later married, Benjamin F. Price, who died in 1968.
Born in Analomink, she was the daughter of the late George and Estella (Pensyl) Coslar. She was employed by the Department of the Army, having retired from the Tobyhanna Army Depot in 1968, where she was in Inventory Control. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Post 2540, Stroudsburg, a member of AARP, and a past-president of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Pocono Chapter.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Price of Pocono Summit; three grandchildren, Dawn Urgaris of Pocono Pines, Todd Price of Canadensis, and Valerie Price of Greentown; and four great grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
