Elmira A. Buccilli, 83, of Effort, died Tuesday in Pleasant Valley Manor, Snydersville.
She was the wife of the late John Buccilli.
She was born in Philadelphia.
She is survived by a son, John Buccilli of Effort; a daughter, Gail Rayer of Havertown; a sister, Alma Gamberone of Glenolden; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday from the Kresge Funeral Home, Route 209, Brodheadsville, with the Rev. Jack Rule officiating. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Hazel B. Jacobus, 90, of Stroudsburg, died on Sunday, April 12, 1998, in her home. She was the wife of the late Leslie Jacobus.
Born in Asbury Park, N.J., she was the daughter of the late G. Lewis and Myrtle (Woodworth) Bennet.
She was employed in the clerical department of Patterson & Kelley of East Stroudsburg for 22 years before retiring in 1972. She was a 10th Generation Society of Mayflower Decendents. She was a member of the Millbrook Historical Society in N.J. She taught quilting for many years throughout Monroe County.
She is survived by 5 grandchildren: Michael Scheirer of N.Y., Stephen Hendrickson of Calif., Linda wife of George Clarke of East Stroudsburg, Wendy wife of Greg Collins of Calif., and Sharon Johnson of Calif.; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be private on Friday, April 17. A cremation will take place at Arlington Crematory, White hall, PA.

Evelyn Johnson, 75, of Tobyhanna, died Sunday at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Ollie Johnson, at home.
Born in Wilmington, Del., she was the daughter of Walter and Phoebe (Massey) Hall, and graduated from Howard High School in Wilmington, Del.
She was a former member of Hollywood Baptist Church in Amityville, N.Y., until her membership at Paradise Valley Baptist Church in Cresco.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons : Ollie Johnson Jr. of Brooklyn Heights, N.Y.; Kenneth Johnson of Brentwood, LI, N.Y., and Michael Johnson of Peekskill, N.Y.; two daughters , Frances L. Bell of Bayshore, LI, N.Y., and Delores Singletary of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Walter Hall and a sister, Pearl Groce, both of Wilmington, Del.; fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Paul Stevenson will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Paradise Valley Baptist Church in Cresco. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Mountainhome. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 and 390 in Paradise Valley.

Harry R. Singer, 71, of Steeleville, Ill., died Thursday in Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois. He was the husband of Eunice A. Athey Singer, at home.
Born October 11, 1926 in Easton, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Alice Crowe Singer, Sr.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army Infantry.
He was retired from Production at Gilster-Mary Lee, Steeleville, Ill., and a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Chester, Ill.
In addition to his wife, Eunice, he is survived by one daughter, Patti Singer of Steeleville, Ill.; two sisters , Helen Repsher of Easton and Ruth Franchella of Stroudsburg; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers , Robert, Jeremiah, Jr., Philip, and Richard; and one sister, Betty Crake.
Funeral Services will take place on Monday, 1 p.m., at the Peace Lutheran Church, Chester, Ill., with the Rev. Kathryn Bielfeldt and Rev. Edwin A. Reuter, officiating. Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, Ill.
Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at Wilson's Funeral Home, 509 W. Illinois Street, Steeleville, Ill., and Monday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church prior to the services.

Peter W. Rossi, 41, of Pocono Manor, died Monday at the Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Mary Pettibone Rossi and the late Eugene R. Rossi, Sr.,
He was a graduate of Pocono Central Catholic High School, Class of '74 and attended Northampton County Community College.
He resided in the Pocono Manor area for the past 26 years. Prior to that, he lived in the Paradise Valley area.
He was a member of St. Mary's of the Mount Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Pocono, attended the "Upper Room" prayer group of St. Matthew's Church in East Stroudsburg and "Our Lady of Fatima" prayer group of the Holy Cross Church in Scranton.
Peter spent many years hand-crafting and creating crosses to honor Jesus' name — giving them to people in this community and others in the United States and abroad.
In addition to his mother , he is survived by two brothers , Eugene R. Rossi, Jr., of Hollywood, Fla. and Christopher K. Rossi of New York City; two sisters , Rosemary Smith of Sarasota, Fla. and Donnamarie Rossi of Pocono Manor; two nephews, Christopher J. Rossi of State College and Jason Hessler-Smith of Vancouver, Canada; three nieces, Gabrielle Rossi of Wilkes-Barre, Daniella Rossi of New York City and Cassie Hessler-Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; an aunt and uncle, Steve and Phyllis Marciw of Pocono Manor.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 14, 10 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Mount Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Pocono with the Rev. Msgr. Arthur Kaschenbach as celebrant. Burial will be held at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. with prayer service at 8 p.m. at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home at .

Helen E. Adams, 80, of 521 Lancaster Avenue, Lancaster, died Sunday at home after a lengthy illness.
A clerical supervisor for the Department of Revenue with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania , she retired in 1983 after 10 years.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and oil painting.
Her husband, Ivan B. Adams, died in 1985.
Born in Macon, Ga., she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel Dunlop Stokes of Hellertown, Pa.
Surviving are one daughter, Denise E. Adams of Lancaster, with whom she resided; one son, Darryl G. of Lancaster; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Jesse Johnson Funeral Home, 426 Hanover Avenue. Allentown. Call from noon until the time of the services.

Louise M. Racz, 73, died Sunday morning, May 31, in the Lutheran Community at Telford Skilled Nursing Facility. She was the widow of Lawrence J. Racz, who died in Sept., 1994. She had resided at the Community since Dec., 1993, and was only recently in skilled nursing.
She had lived in Lansdale prior to moving to Telford and was formerly of North Wales with her earlier years in Philadelphia.
Born May 25, 1925, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Kathryn (Faunce) Humphries of Lansdale, and the late C. Raymond Humphries, Jr.
Mrs. Racz had been employed with the Plastica Co. when it was located in North Wales and later retired from Philco-Ford.
She was a member and volunteer worker at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Telford and a former member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed crafts and making candy.
Surviving is a daughter, Carol A. Shick of Tannersville, PA and a son, Lawrence J. (Jerry) Racz Jr. of Perkiomenville, PA; two granddaughters, Stacey and Jamey Shick of Tannersville; a sister, Nancy M. Kelley of North Wales; a brother, Richard S. Humphries of Palo Alto, CA; and three nieces and two nephews..
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Tuesday, June 2, at 11 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 107 Lincoln Ave., Telford, PA 18969. The family will greet friends at the church 10:30 to 11 a.m. Entombment in White marsh Memorial Park will be at the convenience of the family.

JoAnn Metzgar, 52, of Stroudsburg, died Saturday in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Elwood R. Metzgar to who she had been married since Sept. 4, 1965.
Born on Jan. 24, 1946, in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn Coco and had lived in the area since 1971 moving here from Easton. She was a 1963 graduate of Easton High School.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons , Richard and Joseph Metzgar, both of Stroudsburg; a sister, Sandra Rider of Kewannee, IL; a sister-in-law Barbara McGuyre of Milton, FL and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Eugene Evans in 1980.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday from noon until 1 p.m. at William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Stroudsburg Cemetery.

Theresa M. (Johnston) Holland died on Sunday, May 17, in Barefoot Bay, Fla. She was the wife of the late Palmer John Holland and the mother of Catherine of Alaska, Palmer John III of Florida, Robert of East Stroudsburg, and the late Joanna.
She was the sister of Betty Kratchwill of New Jersey, Catherine Johnston of Pennsylvania , Joseph Johnston of Florida, Thomas Johnston of Arizona and the late Mary Fritz. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m., June 15, in St. Bernard's RC Church in Philadelphia with burial of cremains to follow in St. Dominic Cemetery, Philadelphia.

Kristin LaMont Jones, 14, of Stroudsburg was born in Jacobi Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. on Sept. 27, 1983. He was the second of five children born to Ronald and Yvette Jones both from New York City. Kristin attended JHS 123 in the Bronx, until his family moved to Stroudsburg in 1996. He attended Stroudsburg High School entering the 9th grade this year making good marks and new friends.
Kristin accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in his life on August 8, 1993. He loved the Lord and was Saved and devoted to prayer and reading his Bible. He grew up in church, attending Holy Temple Church in Bronx, N.Y. from a baby. He was a member of a little gospel trio he and his brother Chad started called the Heavenly Voices that consisted of Kristin, his brother Chad and a good friend named Carl Harris. Everyone was blessed when they sang, "Sing To Me Lord Jesus." He also sang on the Holy Temple Church choir. Kristin loved playing basketball, swimming and beating the drums.
Kristin went home to be with the Lord on Sunday night, May 31, 1998, at Pocono Medical Center. He leaves behind his mother and Father , Ronald and Yvette Jones, 3 brothers : Chad Robert, David Anthony, Kendall Emmanuel, a sister, Robyn Nicole; 1 great-grandmother, Mrs. Viola Brown; 2 grandmothers; 2 grandfathers; 11 great aunts; 3 great uncles; 7 aunts; 8 uncles; his Godmother, Adrienne Smalls; his Godfather, Jeffrey Jones; 23 cousins, including one closest cousin Charmar; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Interment will be on Friday, June 5 at the George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, N.J. Calling hours will be Wed., June 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home.
