Anna C. McBride, 87, of William Penn Highway, Easton, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Linda C. Hohe, in Upper Saucon Twp.
She was the widow of Kenneth E. McBride who died in 1982.
Born December 19, 1910, in Oxford, N.J., a daughter of the late Edward and Christine Christiensen Steele.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Riegelsville, Pa., and of the former Friendship Class of the Church. She was a former Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by 2 sons , Darl E. of Sciota and K. Richard of Bloomsbury, N.J.; 1 daughter, Linda C. Hohe of Upper Saucon Twp.; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 12 noon, in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Riegelsville. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Easton.
Friends may call at the Church on Friday after 11 a.m.

Virginia A. Frable

Virginia A. Frable, 35, of Frisco, Colorado, and formerly of Brodheadsville, died Tuesday in the home of her mother and Father -in-law in Brodheadsville.
She was the wife of David M. Frable, at home. They had observed their 11th wedding anniversary in October of 1997.
Born in Flushing, N.Y., she was a daughter of Walter and Theresa (McEachern) Scherber of Stroudsburg.
She had been an assistant administrator for Marriott Streamside in Vail Colorado for four years.
She was associated with Jehovah's Witnesses.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, David Frantz of Kunkletown; two daughters , Tricia Frantz and Amanda Frable, both of Frisco, Colo.; a sister, Susan Baines of RD 3, Saylorsburg and a paternal grandmother, Ann Wackenreuter of Moosic.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. from the Kresge Funeral Home, Route 209, Brodheadsville, with elder Salvatore Russo officiating. Burial will be in Gilbert Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

John T. Dally, Sr.

John T. Dally, Sr., of Pen Argyl, died Sunday in Lehigh Valley Hospital.
He was the president of Anthony Dally and sons , Inc., a quarrier and fabricator of slate products in Pen Argyl, from 1951 until 1992. He served as Mayor of Pen Argyl for 16 years, beginning in 1965 and ending in 1981.
Born May 22, 1921, in Pen Argyl, he was the son of Catherine Dally of Pen Argyl and the late Anthony Dally.
He was a lifelong member of Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Pen Argyl.
He was a 1939 graduate of Pen Argyl High School and earned a degree in Government and Law from Lafayette College in 1949. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Air Force and flying 17 missions as a bombardier and navigator in Italy and Germany.
He served as Vice President and Director of Pen Argyl National Bank, Director of Lafayette Bank and on the advisory boards of Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Church, the Pen Argyl Salvation Army and the Minsi Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He served for many years on the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton Airport Authority and was a founding director and director emeritus of Northamption County Community College. He served as President of Structural Slate Company for 20 years and served as a director of the company for 47 years.
He also served on the Pen Argyl Athletic and Park Association, the Northampton County Economic Development Committee and was a founder and past Chairman of the Slate Belt Municipalities Association. He was a member of the Pomfret Club of Easton and Northampton Country Club.
An avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman, he was a member and past president of Easton Anglers, Pike County.
He and his wife, the former Marge Sagness, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in August, 1997. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Karin A. Curcio of Pen Argyl; two sons , State Representative Craig A. Dally of Bushkill Township and John T. Dally, Jr., of Wind Gap; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters .
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 South Broad Street, Nazareth. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the services at the church. There will be no viewing. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Pen Argyl. Burial will be in Saint Elizabeth's Cemetery. The Guerro & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl, is in charge of arrangement.
Family requests memorials to the Wind Gap Ambulance Squad, Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Church Building Fund or Saint John's Lutheran Church, all in care of the funeral home.

David J. Mahoney, 78, of Sciota died Sunday in his home.
He was the husband of the late Mary L. (Ryan) Mahoney, who died in 1988.
He was born in Hoboken, N.J.
He had been the post office manager at East Stroudsburg University for 10 years, retiring in 1984.
He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert and the Knights of Columbus.
He was an active member of the Tannersville Senior Citizens, the Young at Heart Senior Citizens in Kresgeville, and the Fairview Senior Citizens in Brodheadsville. He was also active in the CHIPS exercise program.
He was a WW II Army veteran.
He is survived by a son, Daniel Mahoney in N.Y.; four daughters , Lynne Duffy, Maureen Chase and Joan Mahoney, all in New York and Mary Casty of Collegeville; a nephew, David Smith in Florida and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Mahoney in 1978.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert with the Rev. William McCawley as celebrant. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

David L. Beinert, 46, of Brodheadsville, died Saturday at home. He was the husband of Sharon (McCarthy) Beinert. They had been married 22 years.
Born in Pleasantville, N.Y., he was the son of Helen Beinert of Port Orange, Fla., and the late David L. Beinert.
He had been an automotive technician for Mueller Automotive in Marshalls Creek for the past 2 years; prior to that with Firestone in Stroudsburg for 8 years and prior to that, with Northern Valley Motors in Closter, N.J., for 15 years.
He was a member of the Zion United Lutheran Church in Brodheadsville. He was a past Exalted Ruler of the Benevolent Protection Order of Elks 2304 in Closter, N.J.; a past Cub Scout Master Pack 98 in Brodheadsville from 1987-1992 when he helped form Pack 101 in Gilbert and a coach of the West End Soccer League from 1987 to 1994. He had been a Cookie Dad for the West End Girl Scouts and a past volunteer fireman in Creskill, N.J.
In addition to his wife and mother , he is survived by two sons , David L. and Dylan L. Beinert at home; a daughter, Diane Beinert at home; a brother, Darren "Swamp" Beinert of New Smyrna, Fla.; two sisters , Debbie Herman of Port Orange, Fla. and Dawn Beinert of Marietta, N.Y. and his mother -in-law, Lorraine McCarthy of Harrington Park, N.J. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel L. Beinert.
Viewing will be held 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Donald N. Gower Funeral Home, Route 209, Gilbert. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Zimmermann officiating. Interment will follow in the Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.

Charles M. Rutcosky, 73, of Saylorsburg died Thursday at the Pocono Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Micewicz) Rutcosky at home. They had been married 51 years.
Born in Exeter, Pa. on September 22, 1924, he was the son of the late Walter and Margaret Rutcosky.
He was employed as a mechanic for the Continental Can Company in Passaic, New Jersey for 29 years, retiring in 1985.
He was a World War II Marine Corp. Veteran having served in the Pacific Theater. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was also a member of the United Steel Workers of America Local 4580 in Pittsburgh, Pa.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons , Charles Rutcosky of Stroudsburg, Richard Rutcosky of Effort and Michael Rutcosky of Lehighton; three daughters , Karen, wife Thomas Schwindenhammer of Coplay, Pa.; Susan, wife of Robert Hartley of Netcong, N.J. and Margaret, wife of Kevin York of Fredrica, De.; a sister, Helen Plaza of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation will take place. There will be no viewing or services at this time.

Amelia Schillinger, 84, of Tannersville died Monday in the Bear Creek Nursing Home, Bear Creek. She was the widow of William Schillinger.
Born in New York City, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Stevens) Eifert.
She had lived in the Tannersville area for the past 8 years and prior to that lived most of her life in the Queens, N.Y., area.
She was employed as a Switchboard Operator at the Bonwit Teller Department Store in New York City for 20 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church of Tannersville.
She is survived by a daughter, Lillian and her husband Dominic Menta of Tannersville; two granddaughters, Deborah M. Liftus and Donna M. Bethel, both of Pocono Summit; and 4 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9 a.m. from Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church, Tannersville, with the Rev. Father Henry E. Zapotocki as celebrant. Burial will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery, Greenburgh, New York.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service in the evening at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, .

John S. Thomas, 69 of Canadensis, died Monday at his son's home in Price Township.
Born on December 16, 1928, in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Earl R. Sr., and Elizabeth E. (Besecker) Thomas and had lived in the area all of his life. He had worked as a truck driver for G.H. Litts and was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by two sons , Jeffrey Thomas of Henryville and John Thomas of Canadensis; a brother, Earl Thomas, Jr., of Canadensis; and one niece.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, with Rev. Russell E. Walters officiating. Cremation will take place at the H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, with private burial at the convenience of the family in the Pine Grove Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
