Claudia I. (Miller) Shaffer, age 87, of 907 New Jersey Avenue, Hellertown PA, died Sunday, August 5, 2001 at Muhlenberg Hospital Center, Bethlehem PA. She was the Wife of Roger E. Shaffer. The couple celebrated their 59th Wedding Anniversary last August.
Born in Springfield Twp. PA, she was the Daughter of the late Paul L. and Alice (Miller) Miller. She was a Registered Nurse at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA for several years until retiring in 1948. She previously worked as an Industrial Nurse for the General Electric Plant, York PA and a Private Duty Nurse in York PA. She was a Member of the First United Church of Christ of Hellertown were she was a Church Choir Member for 20 years. She was also a Member of the Bach Choir, Bethlehem PA.
She is survived by her Husband; sons , Dennis E. Shaffer of Emmaus PA and Dean R. Shaffer of Hellertown PA; sisters , Mildred Stiles of York PA and Geraldine Lesher of Carlisle PA; and 7 Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2001 at the First United Church of Christ, 501 Northampton Street, Hellertown. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

Charles J. Szvetecz
Charles J. Szvetecz, age 84, of East Broad Street, Bethlehem PA, died Sunday, April 6, 2003 at his home. He was the Widower of the late Mary S. (Bennish) Szvetecz.
Born in Bethlehem PA, he was the Son of the late John and Anna (Lancecsk) Szvetecz. He was employed by the Philadelphia Union Steam Fitters Local 670, Allentown and Local 420, 1948-1984. He previously worked at the Bethlehem Steel in the Pipe Shop, Services Division, 1938 -1948. He was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his Son, Richard S. Szvetecz of Hellertown PA; 3 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson.
Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2003 in the Holy Saviour Cemetery, 857 East Langhorne Ave, Bethlehem PA. There will be no calling hours. Interment in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem PA. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown PA.

Dorothy M. Schleppy
Dorothy M. Schleppy, age 79, of Wistar Street, Bethlehem PA, died Sunday, July 28, 2002 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA.
Born in Miller Heights, Bethlehem PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman F. and Laura (Cope) Schleppy. She was a Seamstress for over 30 years at the former Modern Universal, Allentown PA. She previously worked as a Security Officer for Yoh Security, Allentown PA at the World Headquarters of Mack Trucks for 16 years. She was a Member of the New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township PA.
She is survived by her Daughter, Tina S., wife of Gibby Lepsig of York PA; and 1 Grandson, Joshua Janes.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2002 in the New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3233 Apples Church Road, Bethlehem PA. The Reverend Tricia A. McMackin officiating. Darlene R. (Dawe) Suder, age 59, of Taylor Drive, Center Valley PA, formerly of Germantown PA, died Saturday, December 7, 2002 at the University of PA Hospital, Philadelphia PA. She was the Wife of John F. Suder, Jr. The couple celebrated their 39th Wedding Anniversary this past September.
Born in Moosic PA , she was the Daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth (Decker) Dawe. She was a Food Hostess for M.W.Wood Bethlehem PA, for 5 years, until 1995. She previously worked at Coopersburg Associates as a shipper for 3 years. She was of the Protestant Faith.
She is survived by her Husband; sons , John F. Suder, III of Limeport PA and David S. Suder of Santee CA; daughters , Amy R. Suder at home; Brother, Ernest Dawe of Hatboro PA; Sister, Lillian Wolfe of Sheckshinny PA; and 2 Grandchildren.

David R. Stum
David R. Stum, age 51, of Allentown PA, formerly of Neffs PA and Lansford PA, died Monday, January 30, 2006 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. He was the husband of Marilyn J. (Marek) Stum. The couple celebrated their 26th Wedding Anniversary last August.
Born in Carlisle PA, Dave was the son of June (Jumper) Boyer of Carlisle PA and the late Paul Stum. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era.
He is survived by his Wife and mother ; Daughter, DaLyn M. Henning and her husband Kyle of Emmaus PA; Son, Talon D. Stum at home; Brother, Daryl Stum of North Carolina; and Granddaughter, Elena E. Henning.

Dorothy (Kurtz) Sweitzer, age 73, of Fellowship Manor, White hall PA, formerly of Pike Ave., Coopersburg PA, died Saturday, January 31, 2004 in her home. She was the Widow of the late Firman I. "Gus" Sweitzer, 1999.
Born in Sykesville PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (Lockitsky) Kurtz. She was a Solderer and Wirer for the Sylvania Corporation of California, until 1961. She previously worked at Autonetics of California in the same capacity; and previously Co-Owned with Husband, the former Dutchman's Diner, Summerville PA and the late Gus's Covered Wagon Hot Dog Stand, Summerville PA. She was of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by her daughters , Gloria J. Auve of Douglassville PA, Kathy S. Traylor of Kutztown PA , Beverly A. Clock of Coopersburg PA and Tina M. Born in New York City NY, she was the Daughter of the late Dick and Anna (Dietrich) Blohm. She was a Member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown.
She is survived by her Husband; sons , Robert J. Schumacher of Moorestown NJ and Richard W. Schumacher of Newington CT; Daughter, Karen A. Schumacher of Blooming Grove NY; Brother, John Blohm of Cary NC; and 10 Grandchildren.

Frieda E. (Mirakovits) Salgado, age 67, of Ravena Street, Bethlehem PA, died Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She was the Widow of the late Joseph Salgado who died in 1993.
Born in Northampton PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Hedwig (Recker) Mirakovits. She was a Homemaker. She was a Member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown PA.
She is survived by her sons , Joseph Jr. of Albany NY, Timothy S. of Allentown PA and Mark P. of Hellertown PA; Daughter, Rita E. Frank S. Sherer, age 81, of Banko Lane, Hellertown PA, died Friday, April 4, 2003 at the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, Fountain Hill PA. He was the Husband of Erma F. (Banko) Sherer. The couple celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary last May.
Born in Bethlehem PA, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Cecilia (Kershner) Sherer. He was a Job Site Supervisor for various Construction Companies in the Lehigh Valley Area until retiring. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He was a Member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Springtown PA, were he was a past Council Member. He was also a Member of the Local 600 Carpenter's Union and the Southeastern Volunteer Fire Company.
He is survived by his Wife; daughters , Bethany F., wife of Edward John Deichmeister of Northampton PA and Kristine A. Sherer at home.
