Nancy L. (Shook) Metzger, age 51, of Allentown PA, died Thursday, August 10, 2000 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA
Born August 02, 1949 in Allentown PA, she was the daughter of June I. (Hilbert) Handwerk of Schnecksville and the late Eddie F. Shook. She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neffs PA. She was a Clerk for the Country Cleaners in Schnecksville for 2 years, last working August 1999. Prior to that, she was a clerk at Del Prete’s Pharmacy in Orefield for 3 years. Prior to that, she was a secretary at E.F. Laudenslager, Inc. Heating Contractor in Orefield for 8 years. She was a Volunteer for the Community Fire Company #1, Schnecksville PA.
She is survived by her mother , June I. (Hilbert) Handwerk of Schnecksville PA; Son, Bruce R. Reiss, Jr. of Coplay PA; daughters , Hope L. Raub at home and Farrah L. Metzger at home; sisters , Diane R. Fries of Schnecksville PA and Susan J., wife of James H. Soldridge, Jr. of Schnecksville PA; Brother, Michael C. Handwerk.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2000 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Calling Hour will be 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Allentown PA.

Paul J. Miller
Paul J. Miller, age 87, of Orefield PA, died Saturday, January 24, 2004 in his Florida Residence in Sarasota FL. He was the Widower of the late Geraldine A. (Miller) Miller.
Born in Germansville PA, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Anna L. (Bachman) Miller. He was President/Owner of the former G.A. Miller Rental Corp. and P.C.M. Trucking, both of Orefield PA, for 50 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Jordan United Church of Christ, Allentown PA. He was also a Member of the Lehigh Lodge # 326, F.& A.M., Trexlertown PA; Member of the Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown; Member of the Rajah Shrine, Reading PA; and Member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
He is survived by his daughters , Jane L., wife of Herschel M. Stettler of Allentown PA, Ruth Ann, wife of William W. McCay of Orefield PA and Mary Ann, wife of William A. Haines of Orefield PA; brothers , Myles A. Miller, Sr. of Germansville PA and Warren G. Miller of Center Valley PA; Companion, Louise Musselman of Allentown PA; 5 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by his Son, Paul C. Miller, 1961.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2004 in the Jordan United Church of Christ, 1837 Church Road, Allentown PA. Paul W. Miller, Sr.
Paul W. Miller, Sr., age 89, of 2432 Route 412, Hellertown, Springfield Twp. PA, died Thursday, February 1, 2001 in his home. He was the Widower of the late Anna G. (Kressler) Miller, who died January 8, 1996.
Born October 2, 1911 in Lower Saucon Twp. PA, he was the Son of the late Jacob Miller and Carrie (Eichelberger) Miller. He worked in the Ingot Mold Department of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 35 years until his retirement in 1975. During the same period, for 15 years, he worked at Frigid Freeze Lockers, Riegelsville PA, as a Meat Cutter. He was a Member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Pleasant Valley. He was a Volunteer for Leithsville Fire Company, especially in Fund Raising Activities, such as Banquets, Carnivals, Bake and Hoagie Sales.
He is survived by his sons , Paul W. Miller, Jr. of Rieglesville PA, Raymond W. Miller at home and Wayne L. Miller of Hellertown PA; Daughter, Judith A. Feher of Riegelsville PA; 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2001 from the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Pleasant Valley. Calling Hour will be 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Monday, in the Church. Richard G. Martin
Richard G. Martin, age 53, of 4073 Sherry Hill Road, Hellertown PA, died Saturday, May 27th, 2000 at the St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. He was the husband of Miriam M. (Mason) Martin. The couple celebrated 17 year of marriage on March 25th.
Born May 14, 1947 in Boston MA, he was the son of the late David P. Martin and Eleanor M. (Mayo) Martin. He taught Special needs Children in the Lehigh Valley. Prior employment was a Ship Fitter for the Federal Government in the Unites States Coast Guard for many years. He was a member of the Church of St. Theresa of The Child Jesus, Hellertown PA. His accomplishments and achievements included 3rd Degree in the Knights of Columbus, NJ; Retired Union President for the AFGE Local 2747, Governor’s Island NY and a BS from Rutger’s University in NJ in Labor Studies.
He is survived by his Wife; brothers , John A. Martin of Barnstable MA and Edward Martin of Boston MA; sisters , Theresa L. Martin of Reading MA and Mary L., wife of Rhiner Scheer of Newton MA. He was predeceased in death by brothers David, Jr. and Steven.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2000 at the St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church, Hyannias MA. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in St. Frances Xavier Catholic Cemetery, Hyannias MA. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA 18055

Raymond J. Miller
Raymond J. Miller, age 63, of 8802 Turkey Ridge Road, Breinigsville PA, died Thursday, May 4, 2000, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. PA. he was the husband of Nancy L. Mack.
Born May 20, 1936 in Allentown PA, he was the son of the late John F. and Anna (Jensits) Miller. He was a Packer for Day-timers Inc. in Lower Macungie Twp. For 2 years before retiring in 1998. Prior to that, he was a mechanic for Morse manufacturing Co., Inc. in Allentown for 12 years and the former Holan of Ohio Brass Company in Allentown for 12 years. He served in the United States Air Force during Peacetime.
He is survived by his Wife and Sister, Margaret, wife of David Sell, Sr. of Allentown PA.

Robert R. Miller
Robert R. Miller, age 69, of 1353 Van Buren Street, Allentowm PA, died Tuesday, June 20, 2000 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. He was the husband of Kathleen M. (Teckenburg) Miller. The couple celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary last Feb. 9th.
Born April 21, 1931 in Tamaqua PA, he was the son of the late Roy and Freda (Leibensperger) Miller. He was a Courier for Brown Printing Company in the Lehigh Valley for the last 5 years. Prior to that, he drove truck for Lehigh Stone in Center Valley for 5 years and drove school bus for Leibensperger Transportation, Northampton Route. He was a former owner and operator of J’s Subs in Catasauqua and Bethlehem for 5 years. Prior to that, he was a career Army Staff Sergeant E-6 for 22 years. He served during the
Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart Medals. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #2124 in Allentown PA.
He is survived by his Wife; Daughter, Donna M., wife of Theodore C. Funk of Allentown PA; Son, Dale R. Miller of Allentown PA; Sister, Pauline Walter of Allentown PA; Brother, Alvin Miller of Boyertown PA and Grandson, Adam Miller of Boyertown PA.

Sadie (Zisko) Majcan, age 96, of Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown PA, formerly of Hellertown PA, died Thursday, August 17, 2000 at the Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. She was the Widow of the late Philip Majcan, who died August 5, 1967.
Born May 10, 1904 in Ostovci, Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Sophie (Bedek) Zisko. She was a member of St. John’s Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem PA.
She is survived by her daughters , Sadie T., wife of Frank J. Martin of Hellertown PA and Mary, wife of Richard W. Raudenbush of Hellertown PA; Sister, Elsie Cegielski of Florida; 3 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson.

Theresa H. Morykan
Theresa H. Morykan, age 80, of 161 West Clark Street, Hellertown PA, died Wednesday, December 20, 2000 in the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She was the Wife of John Morykan, Jr. The couple celebrated their 58th Anniversary this past February 14th.
Born November 13, 1920 in Unity PA, she was the Daughter of the late Raymond and Theresa (Kametler) Clarke. She was a Cafeteria Worker at the former Wolfe School in Hellertown for three years. Prior Employment was at the St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill as an Assistant in the Operating Room for several years. She was a Member of St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church of Byzantine Rite, Bethlehem PA.
She is survived by her Husband; Son, Raymond J. Morykan of Bethlehem PA; Daughter, Joanne E. Salash of Bethlehem PA; Step Brother, David Clarke of Pittsburgh PA; 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her Son, George Morykan.
