Jerry B. Gibbs
Jerry B. Gibbs, age 63, of 6193 Blue Church Road South, Coopersburg PA, died Wednesday, January 2, 2002 in his home. He was the Husband of Gail (Petcavage) Gibbs. The couple celebrated their 13th Wedding Anniversary last July.
Born in Kingston PA, he was the Son of the late Jerry L. and Patsy (Budinger) Gibbs. His life sustaining work was his small farm in Coopersburg PA. He most recently worked as a Chemical Engineer in private consulting for Cyrogentic Consultants, and previously worked for the Bethlehem Steel and Air Products, Bethlehem PA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his sons , Jerry D. Gibbs of Duxbury MA and Joshua C. Gibbs at home; daughters , Kimberly Gibbs Banzhof of Lancaster PA, Lisa Gibbs Kelley of Toms River NJ and Jessica Maria Gibbs at home; Sister, Sally Davidson in Warren NJ; and 5 Grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2002 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. There are no calling hours. Interment in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas PA.

John C. Gerlicz
John C. Gerlicz, age 50, of 1714 Hill Drive, Hellertown PA, died Monday, January 22, 2001 in the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's in Fountain Hill PA. He was the Husband of Susan E. (Reppert) Gerlicz. The couple celebrated their 24th Anniversary this past December 18th.
Born November 28, 1950 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he was the Son of the late Oscar and Zosia (Bronikowska) Gerlicz. He was a Psychotherapist in Private Practice and at area agencies in the Lehigh Valley Area.
He was a Member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown PA, where he was a Past Consistory President of the Church. He was also a Member of the Bethlehem Inter-Church Dart Baseball League, Member and Past President of the Lehigh Valley Addiction Treatment Services, Member of the Bethlehem Area Council of Churches and a Member of the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Church Baseball League.
He is survived by his Wife; Son, Andrew P. at home; Daughter, Alina M. at home and Brother, Anthony M. Gerlicz of Santa Fe NM.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2001 in the First United Church of Christ, 501 Northampton St., Hellertown PA. Calling Hours will be 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Friday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown and 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Church. Interment will be Private in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

June I. (Rhoads) Grill, age 76, of Allentown PA, died Thursday, August 08, 2002 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. She was the Wife of Stephen F. Grill. The couple celebrated their 56th Wedding Anniversary last August 3rd.
Born in Hamburg PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul V. and Hilda M. (Ernst) Rhoads. She was a Accountant for James Hall, C.P.A. in Melbourne FL for 14 years before retiring in 1986. Prior to that, she was a Claim's Supervisor for Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Allentown for 10 years. Prior to that, she was a L.P.N. at the former Allentown General Hospital for 1 year. She was a former member of the Peace Lutheran Church, Palm Bay FL. She was a Volunteer for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
She is survived by her Husband; daughters , Joan E., wife of Samuel A. Stettler of Topton PA, Barbara A., wife of Francis E. Slonaker of Schnecksville PA and Janice E., wife of Barry R. Ettl of Allentown PA; brothers , Paul H. Rhoads of Hamburg PA, Robert R. Rhoads of Phoenix AZ and Gene T. Rhoads of Rehrersburg PA; sisters , Mae Kershner of Hamburg PA and Betty J. Keller of Hamburg PA; and 6 Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2002 in the Jerusalem Western Salisbury Union Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown PA. John T. 'Jack' Goembel
John T. 'Jack' Goembel, age 75, of Fern Road, Riegelsville PA, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at Phoebe Richland Health Care, Richlandtown PA. He was the Husband of Mary Lou (Ponder) Goembel. The couple celebrated their 47th Wedding Anniversary last December.
Born in Ohio, he was the son of the late Philip and Edna (Troutman) Goembel. He was the Recreational Supervisor for the city of Baltimore MD for 31 years until retiring. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He was a Member of the Doylestown Art League.
He is survived by his Wife; sons , Philip Goembel of New Berlin WI and Luke Goembel of Towson MD; Daughter, Ponder Goembel of Riegelsville PA; Sister, Janet Goembel of Daytona Beach FL; and 4 Grandchildren.

Linda A. Grof, age 51, of Allentown PA, died Wednesday, January 16, 2002 in her home.
Born in Allentown PA, she was the Daughter of John T. and June C (Sperling) Grof of Center Valley PA. She was a Bank Teller for First Union Bank, East Emmaus Branch, since 1968.
She is survived by her Parents; Brother, Dennis M. Grof of Orefield PA; Nephew, Jason T. Grof of Orefield PA; and Companion, Paul F. Bonowicz, with whom she resided.

Lillian E.G. (Bittner) Geiger
Lillian E.G. (Bittner) Geiger, age 90, of Fellowship Manor, 3000 Fellowship Road, White hall PA, formerly of Memorial Road, Schnecksville PA, died Sunday, October 29, 2000 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. She was the widow of the late Willard H. Geiger.
Born September 3, 1910 in Heidelburg Township PA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey E. and Beulah A. (Nagel) Bittner. She assisted her late Husband in the operation of their farm in Heidelberg Township for 45 years before retiring in 1973. She also worked in the Cafeteria at the Northwestern Lehigh High School, New Tripoli PA for several years. She was a member of the Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neffs PA. She was also a former member of the Heidelberg Kitchen Band.
She is survived by her Son, Harold W. Geiger of New Tripoli PA; Daughter, Joan M., wife of Richard J. Casari of Schnecksville PA; 2 Grandsons and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Lila M. Gemmel, age 85, of 2903 Old Post Road, Slatington PA, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, in the ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem PA.
Born in North White hall Township, she was a Daughter of the late Albert R. and Anna A. (Wotring) George. She was a Member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs PA. She was Vice President and Co-Owner of the former Ballietsville Inn from 1971-97. She Owned and Operated the former Lila's Beauty Shop, Northampton PA from 1935-43.
She is survived by her Son, Richard W. Gemmel with whom she resided; nieces and nephews.

Lillian M. (Sides) Gerhab, age 75, of 332 Cedar Road, Hellertown PA, died Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She was the Widow of the late Ralph P. Gerhab who died in 1996.
Born in Fountain Hill PA, she was the Daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Long) Sides. She was a Cashier for the former Food Fair, Bethlehem for several years. She was of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by her sons , Ralph C. Gerhab of Nazareth PA, George G. Gerhab of Hellertown PA and Glenn G. Gerhab of Pleasant Gap PA; sisters , Elizabeth Flaska of Bethlehem PA and Mary Seglets of Coopersburg PA; and 2 Grandchildren.
