Anna (Rakochy) Chorney, age 83, of Schnecksville PA, formerly of Allentown PA, died Monday, September 15, 2003 in her home. She was the Wife of Mike Chorney. The couple celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary this past March.
Born in Allentown PA, she was the daughter of the late Wasyl and Anastasia (Sukana) Rakochy. She was Head Cook and Food Service Worker for the Parkland School District, Schnecksville Elementary School for 16 years, retiring in 1981. She was a Life Long Member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Allentown PA .
She is survived by her Husband; Daughter, Janet C., wife of Dr. Clifford C. Hanninen of Bethlehem PA; Son, Russell C. Chorney of Allentown PA; Brother, Michael S. Rakochy of Allentown PA; Sister, Julia Arbogast of Allentown PA; and 1 Granddaughter, Lauren M. Chorney.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2003 in the Kohut Funeral Home, Inc., 950 North Front Street, Allentown PA, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy in the Church, 1031 Fullerton Ave., Allentown PA. Celebrant will be The Very Reverend William Czekaluk. Family and Friends may call 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the Kohut Funeral Home. Anna E. (Zelena) Lysek Cunningham
Anna E. (Zelena) Lysek Cunningham, age 87, of 1100 First Avenue, Hellertown PA, died Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She was the widow of the late John "Jack" J. Cunningham, who died in 1991 and the late Stanley M. Lysek, who died in 1957.
Born in Northampton PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Strivovsky) Zelena. She was a Waitress at Saucon Valley Country Club for 25 years before retiring in 1976. She was a Member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown. She was also a Member of the Jolliett Card Club, Bethlehem PA; the Edward H. Ackerman Post 397 Ladies Auxiliary, Hellertown PA; the Dewey Fire Company, Hellertown PA; and the Former Lioness Bowling League in Hellertown PA.
She is survived by her sons , James J. Lysek of Doylestown PA and Stanley M. Lysek of Wind Gap PA; brothers , George Zelena of Orefield PA and Augustine Zelena of White hall PA; sisters , Helen Gomboz of Fountain Hill PA and Elizabeth "Betty" Lysek of Allentown PA; 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2001 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA, followed by a Mass of Resurrection 9:30 a.m. in the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. Family and Friends may call 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Saturday, in the Funeral Home. Interment in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem PA.

Dorothy B. Clarke
Dorothy B. Clarke, age 88, of Country Meadows of Allentown PA formerly of North Hollywood CA, died Saturday, March 17, 2001 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She was the Widow of the late Rodney Ralph Clarke.
Born April 6, 1912 in Bethlehem PA, she was the Daughter of the late Thomas and Jane Hannah (Ward) Gozzard. She was a Hairdresser in California for 20 years until retirement. She was a Member of the North Hollywood-Noel Chapter No. 403 Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by Niece and Nephews. She was predeceased in death by Brother, Thomas Gozzard and Sister, Margaret Alice (Gozzard) Riley.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. Calling Hour will be 10-11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

Donald J. Custer
Donald J. Custer, age 53, of Rowland Lane, Coopersburg PA, died Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. He was the Husband of Donna E. (Weicker) Custer. The couple celebrated their 29th Wedding Anniversary last October.
Born in Allentown PA, he was the son of Evelyn J. (Heintzelman) Custer of Revere PA and the late Ralph G. Custer. He was the Chief of Maintenance for Dow Jones, Trenton NJ. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a Member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley PA. He was also a Member of PAMA of Trenton NJ, the Edward H. Ackerman Post 397 of Hellertown PA, the VFW Post 3094 of Hellertown PA and a Life Member of the NRA.
He is survived by his Wife and mother ; Son, Michael J. Custer at home; Brother, Glenn R. Custer of Revere PA; and Sister, Joan L. Free of Staunton VA.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2003 in the Trinity United Church of Christ, 1990 Route 212, Quakertown PA. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown PA.
Miss Dorothy S. Clawson
Miss Dorothy S. Clawson, age 84, of Hellertown PA, died Friday, September 6, 2002 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA.
Born in Lower Saucon Township PA, she was the daughter of the late Rhuel and Sadie E. (Laubach) Clawson. She was a Supervisor in the Communications Department of the Bethlehem Steel for 30 years, retiring in 1983. She was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II as a WAVE. She was a Member of Lower Saucon United Church of Christ, Hellertown, were she was a past Consistory Member. She was also a Member of the Saucon Valley Community Center and the Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her Nephew, Robert W. Clawson of Dillsburg PA and Niece, Kay C. Fischer of Coopersburg PA.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the Family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

Colonel Francis P. Cancelliere II (Retired)
Colonel Francis P. Cancelliere II (Retired), age 77, of Peppermint Road, Coopersburg PA, died Thursday, July 25, 2002 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. He was the Husband of Jeanne (Van Erk) Cancelliere. The couple celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary in June.
Born in Williamsport PA, he was the son of the late Emmanuel and Lula (Martin) Cancelliere. In 1986 he became Owner and CEO of Bethlehem Contracting, Bath PA, before retiring in 1995. From 1978-1986 he was Vice President of Bethlehem Contracting, Bath PA. He previously worked for the Archdioceses of New York from 1970-1978 in Facilities Management. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having served World War II and in the United States Army during the
Korean War of which 23 years were in active service. He earned his B.S. and Masters from Georgia Tech in 1955. While in the Marine Corp, he received his appointment to the United States military Academy at West Point, where he earned a B.S. in 1948. While stationed at West Point, Col. Cancelliere served as Treasurer of the US military Academy. He was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his Wife; sons , Francis Paul of Coplay PA, Thomas of Palmerton PA, John of Nazareth PA, Michael of Coopersburg PA and Kevin of West Chester PA; daughters , Anne Schalestock of Casanova VA, Kathryn McKinney of Carlisle PA, Mary Taranto of Edison NJ and Jeanne Lesoravage of Stanford CT; Sister, Marie of Williamsport PA; 20 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter. He is Predeceased in death by his Son, Daniel Joseph in 1965.
A Funeral Mass will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2002 in the Holy Trinity Chapel, West Point NY. The Reverend Bernard O'Connor officiating. Gloria G. Cordas, age 73, of New Jersey Avenue, Hellertown PA, died Sunday, July 14, 2002 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice, Allentown PA. She was the Wife of Peter Cordas, Jr. The couple celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary last August.
Born in Bethlehem PA, she was the Daughter of the late Raymond Gaugler and Carrie (Behler) Gaugler Bissey. She was a Server for Wood Foods, Allentown PA, serving at Stabler Arena, Bethlehem PA. Prior to that she worked in the Clerical department of the Bethlehem Steel for several years. She was a Member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown PA. She was a Member of the former Jaycee Wives and Volunteered at the Soup Kitchen of Trinity Episcopal Church, Bethlehem PA.
She is survived by her Husband; Son, Timothy P. Cordas of Hellertown PA; Daughter, Patricia L. wife of Scott A. Weber of Bethlehem PA; Brother, John Gaugler of Coopersburg PA; Sister, Delores Himnerberger of Beach Haven NJ; and 2 Grandsons.

Garett M. Carvalho, age 15, of Northampton Street, Hellertown PA, died Saturday, January 4, 2003 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA.
Born in Fountain Hill PA, he was the son of Elizabeth M. (Andreski) Carvalho, with whom he resided and Manuel P. Carvalho of Bethlehem PA. He was a 10th Grade Student at Saucon Valley School District, Hellertown PA. He played Basketball at St. Theresa CYO until 2000 and was active in the Saucon Valley Youth Association Football and Baseball programs.
He is survived by his Parents; Sister, Allysha D. Carvalho at home; Step mother , Maria H. (Sousa) Carvalho of Bethlehem PA; Maternal Grandmother, Rose M. (Marques) Andreski of Hellertown PA and Paternal Grandparents, Antonio F. & Pureza (Pinho) Carvalho of Portugal.

Jean L. (Ewald) Cornwall, age 87, of 2002 Quarter Mille Road, Bethlehem PA, died Friday, March 23, 2001 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She was the Widow of the late Lionell P. "Duke" Cornwall.
Born July 28, 1913 in Detroit MI, she was the Daughter of the late Martin and Emma (Wolgemute) Ewald. She was a Volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill for 17 years. She was of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by her daughters , Barbara Lyssarides of Nicosia, Cyprus and Nila Niner of Mesa AZ; and Sister, Sister Margaret Saint Hubert of Chatham, Ontario Canada.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. There will be no Calling Hours. Interment in Springtown Cemetery, Springfield Twp. PA.
