Dorothy L. (Krause) Bear, age 87, of Schnecksville PA, died Saturday, March 10, 2001 in the Hospice Unit of the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown PA. She was the Widow of the late James F. Bear.
Born March 12, 1913 in Washington Twp. PA, she was the Daughter of the late Wilson B. and Katie M. (DeLong) Krause. She was a Member of the Union United Church of Christ, Neffs PA.
She is survived by her Daughter, Jean E., wife of Richard A. Heintzelman of Schnecksville; 2 Grandsons and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2001 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Calling Hours will be 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.

Ernest R. Ballek
Ernest R. Ballek, age 79, of Springfield Township PA, died Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at the Hospice Unit at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. He was the Husband of Helen I. (Zisko) Ballek. The couple celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last June.
Born in Riegelsville PA, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Fuicz) Ballek. He worked in the Lehigh Pattern Shop at the Bethlehem Steel Co. for 41 years, retiring in 1993. He also worked at Thompson Motors, Springtown PA and assisted his son after his retirement. He was a Veteran of the United States Army during World War II as Gunnery Sergeant, having served in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska. He was a former Member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Durham PA, serving the past Church Council and Property Division. He was also a Life Member, past Treasurer and Greeting Committee of the Springfield Township Lions Club; Little League Manager of the Silver Creek Athletic Little League Teams; and Host Family for 20 years for Lehigh and Lafayette International Graduate Students.
He is survived by his Wife; Son, David A. Ballek of Hellertown PA; Sister, Anna Pektor of Hellertown PA; and 1 Step Granddaughter. He is predeceased in death by his Brother, Peter H. Ballek.
Funeral Services will be held 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Friday in the Funeral Home.

Frank J. Bennett
Frank J. Bennett, age 77, of White House Beach, Millsboro DE, formerly of Orefield PA, died Monday, August 26, 2002 in Lower Macungie Township PA. He was the Husband of Marilyn A. (Everett) Bennett. The couple celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this past June.
Born in Allentown PA, he was the son of the late James H. and Jeanne E. (Verlinden) Bennett. He was a Mechanic for J.H. Bennett, Inc. in Allentown for 20 years before retiring in 1987. Prior to that, he worked as a Kiln Burner Operator at the former Lehigh Portland Cement Company in Fogelsville for 15 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II with a rank of Motor Machinist's Mate 2nd Class.
He is survived by his Wife; sons , Frank M. Bennett (Lisanne) of Downingtown PA and Bruce D. Bennett of Slatington PA; Daughter, Mary Ann L., wife of Dennis A. Bailey of Chattanooga TN; Brother, James H. Bennett of Allentown PA; sisters , Louise Williams of Fleetwood PA and Margaret wife of Joseph Raquet of Royersford PA; 4 Grandchildren, Daniel P. Bennett, Kathleen M. Bennett, Lisa M. Bailey and Gregory B. Bailey; and Nieces and Nephews.

Florence M. (Holben) Baer
Florence M. (Holben) Baer, age 87, of Allentown PA, formerly of White hall PA, died Thursday, November 29, 2001 in the Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Allentown PA. She was the Widow of the late Franklin L. Baer who died in 1977.
Born in Ironton PA, she was the Daughter of the late Preston F. and Catharine S. (Schmoyer) Holben. She was a Housekeeper for Dr. Martin K. Rothenberger for 43 years, retiring in 1978. She was a Member of St. John's United Church of Christ of Fullerton in White hall PA, where she was a former volunteer in the Church Kitchen and a Member of the Church Quilters group. She was also a Former Member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Royal Arch Chapter.
She is survived by her Son, Dennis L. Baer of White hall PA; Daughter, Lois F. Frantz of White hall PA; Step-sons , Lester F. Baer of Allentown PA and Franklin C. Baer of Schnecksville PA; Sister, Esther C. Weber of Schnecksville PA and Eleanor M. Mainer of Baytown TX; 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Frederick R. Blose, age 97, of Slatington PA, died Saturday, May 11, 2002 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. He was the Widower of the late Helen S. (Frantz) Blose.
Born in Washington Township PA, he was the son of the late Richard O. and Laura (Olenwine) Blose. He was a Painter for the former Trojan Powder Company, in South White hall Township for 31 years before retiring in 1971. He was a Member of the Friedens United Church of Christ, Slatington PA, we he formerly served on the Church Consistory. He was a Member of the Friedens Fire Company.
He is survived by his sons , Richard S. Blose of Slatington PA and Clifford F. Blose of Coplay PA; daughters , Lorraine A. Van Norman of Slatington PA, Dorothy H. Breininger of Fogelsville PA and Marilyn R. Cerrone of Slatington PA; 7 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Geraldine DeFrain Bahl
Geraldine DeFrain Bahl, age 83, of Slatington PA, died Monday, October 07, 2002 in the Phoebe Home, Allentown PA. She was the Widow of the late Elmer Edward Bahl.
Born in Slatington PA, she was the daughter of the late H. Harrison and Rosa (Grammes) DeFrain. She was a Secretary for the former Slatington Manufacturing Company, Inc. for 50 years before retiring in 1988. She was a Member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Slatington PA.
She was Past President of the Slatington Women's Club from 1961-1964 and 1968 - 1970; Former Secretary of the Slatington Chamber of Commerce for 27 years; One of the Original Founders of the Roosevelt Playground on Walnut Street in the Borough of Slatington; Former Campaign Chairperson for the Slatington Christmas Lights; Former Chairperson of the Slatington Halloween Parade; Former Chairperson of the Vigilant Fire Company Building Fund in Slatington; and Former Volunteer for the area Red Cross, United Way and many other humanitarian agencies.
She is survived by her Nieces and Nephews.

Helen F. (Franko) Belletti, age 82, formerly of Saucon Street, Hellertown PA, died Sunday, May 18, 2003 at Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township PA. She was the Widow of the late Mark F. Belletti, 2002.
Born in Budapest Hungary, she was the daughter of the late Kalman and Theresa Franko. She was an Avon Representative for over 25 years until retiring. She was a Member of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Colesville PA. She was Past President of the Guild at St. Theresa, Hellertown PA; Member of the SV Community Center where she taught Senior Citizens Physical Fitness; and Member of the Mothers Fraternity of the Bethlehem Boys Club.
She is survived by her Son, Fred Belletti of Painted Post NY; Daughter, Elaine B. Donnelly of Hellertown PA; Brother, Kalman Franko of Hellertown PA; 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

James A. Barsic, age 61, of 1620 Rambling Rose Court, Bethlehem PA, died Friday, August 17, 2001 at the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, Fountain Hill PA. He was the Husband of Judith A. (Dumm) Barsic. The couple celebrated their 38th Wedding Anniversary today.
Born in Trafford PA, he was the Son of the late Joseph M. and Catherine (Subasic) Barsic. He was a Manager in Process Control for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. from 1966 until retiring August 1st this year. He previously worked at the Westinghouse Corp., East Pittsburgh PA from 1957-1966. He was a Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bethlehem. He was Past Director of AISE (American Iron Steel Engineering); a Scout Master for 12 years with Troop #802 in Long Beach IN; an Eagle Scout recipient in 1956; an Award of Merit and Silver Beaver, Boy Scouts of America; Sang in the Church choir for St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bethlehem; and a Member of the Lehigh Valley Astronomical Society.
He is survived by his Wife: sons , James A. Barsic, Jr. of Leechburg PA, Brian R. Barsic of LaPorte IN and Michael J. Barsic of Savannah GA; brothers , Joseph Barsic of Freedom PA, Nicholas Barsic of Murraysville PA and John Barsic of Greensburg PA; sisters , Cathy Peters of Trafford PA and Mary Kasicky of Pittsburgh PA; and 3 Grandchildren.
