William E. Arnold
William E. Arnold, age 72, of Fifth Street, Bethlehem, died Saturday, March 20th, 2004 in Monroe County. He was the Husband of Nobuko K. (Asakuno) Arnold. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last May. Born in Hellertown PA, he was the Son of the late Frank and Caroline A. (Renninger) Arnold. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel as an Electrician for many years until retirement. He also served in the United States Army for 21 years, retiring in 1969, after his service in the Korean War and Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW Post 3094 - Hellertown PA.

He is survived by his Wife; sons , Michael J. Arnold at home and Lee, husband of Amy Arnold of Coopersburg PA; daughters , Gloria J. Messner of Center Valley PA and Kay, wife of Bradley W.B. Statler of Coopersburg PA; Sister, Judith Arnold of Bath PA; and 6 Grandchildren, Jay, Katy, Kylee, Nicole, Samantha and Amber.

A Graveside Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004 at the Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown PA. There are no calling hours. Interment in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown PA.

Contributions may be made to the VFW Post 3094, Hellertown PA.

Walter M. Apple
Walter M. Apple, age 84, of 1050 Main Street, Hellertown PA, formerly of Brad Lane, Bethlehem PA, died Thursday, February 6, 2003 at the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, Bethlehem PA. He was the Widow of the late Catherine M. (Musgnung) Apple, 2002.

Born in Bethlehem PA, he was the son of the late Clyde M. Apple, Sr. and Sarah E. (Wilhelm) Apple. He was a Brick Layer in the Coke Oven Division of the former Bethlehem Steel for 38 years until retiring in 1977. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He was a Member of the Lower Saucon United Church of Christ, Hellertown PA. He was also a Member of the MORA Club of Bethlehem PA, Hellertown Sportsmen's Association, Coke Oven Leisure Club, AARP, Dewey Fire Company of Hellertown PA and the Mespry Club of Bethlehem PA.

He is survived by his daughters , Charlene K., wife of Kenneth E. Knappenberger of Bethlehem PA and Beverly A., wife of Ronald J. Reichard of Bethlehem PA; sisters , Eleanor V. Brown of Hellertown PA, Margaret M. Steele of Milford DE and Kathryn B. Stirling of Georgia; 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Funeral Home. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lower Saucon United Church of Christ, 1375 Third Avenue, Hellertown PA 18055 and/or the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, 709 Delaware Avenue, Bethlehem PA 18015.

Agnes H. (Hasenecz) Bluder
Agnes H. (Hasenecz) Bluder, age 81, of Third Avenue, Hellertown PA, died Friday, February 7, 2003 at the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, Bethlehem PA. She was the Widow of the late Thomas M. Bluder, 1971.

Born in Fountain Hill PA, she was the Daughter of the late George and Mary (Munda) Hasenecz. She was a Stripper at Hanka's Pierogies, Hellertown, for 29 years until retiring in 1990. She was a Member of the Emmanuel Fellowship Church, 1923 South Bradford Street, Allentown PA.

She is survived by her Son, Thomas C. Bluder of Bethlehem Township; daughters , Karen K. DePriest of Bethlehem PA and Daria A. Pagan of Hellertown PA; brothers , George Hasenecz of New Hope PA, Daniel Hasenecz of Bethlehem PA, Alex Hasenecz of Bethlehem PA, Charles Hasenecz of Bethlehem PA and Andrew Hasenecz of Riegelsville PA; sisters , Pauline Radchuk of Bethlehem PA, Olga Doncevic of Hellertown PA and Kathryn Bilsak of Bethlehem PA; 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. Family and Friends may call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, 709 Delaware Avenue, Bethlehem PA 18015 and/or the American Cancer Society Lehigh Valley Unit, PO Box 90127, Allentown PA 18109-0127.

Anna Mae (Bennett) Bleiler
Anna Mae (Bennett) Bleiler of Newside PA and Fort Myers FL, died Saturday, June 29, 2002 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. She was the Widow of the late Herman B. Bleiler.

Born in Slatington PA, she was the daughter of the late Jennie (Jones) Miller. She was a Sewing Machine Operator at various textile mills in the Lehigh Valley for 35 years before retiring in 1982. She was of the Lutheran Faith.

She is survived by her sons , William R. Bleiler of Winnsboro SC and Larry B. Bleiler of Palmerton PA; Daughter, Jennie Lee Bleiler of Levittown PA; and 4 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the Family. There are no calling hours. Interment in Arlington Memorial Park, White hall PA. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA.

Carolyn Brooks
Carolyn Brooks, age 89, of Orefield PA, formerly of Wyncote and Scranton PA, died Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown PA. She was the Widow of the late Charles Frederick Brooks .

Born in Bethany PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick L. and Dolla M. (Cody) Hauser. She was a Homemaker. She was a Member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church, Bent Road and Fernbrook Ave., Wyncote PA. She was a Sustaining Member of the Junior League, Scranton PA; Volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Wyncote PA; former Board Member of the Philadelphia Association For The Blind; and Past President of the Women's Club of Wyncote.

She is survived by her Son, Cody H. Brooks of Waverly PA; daughters , Connie B. Kidd of Orefield PA, Susan V. Brooks of Columbus OH and Leslie B. Durant of Fogelsville PA; 9 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandsons. She is predeceased by a Grandson.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2003 in the Church. There are no Calling Hours. The Reverend Stanley T. Wherry officiating. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA. Interment will be Private in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly PA.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Church Memorial Fund and/or a Charity of Donors Choice c/o the Funeral Home, PO Box 196, Schnecksville PA 18078-0196.

Clara M. (Jones) Brown
Clara M. (Jones) Brown, age 96, of Main Street, Bethlehem PA, formerly of High Street, Hellertown PA, died Thursday, September 12, 2002 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She was the Widow of the late Harold P. Brown.

Born in Northampton PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Smith) Jones. She was a Seamstress for the former Muriel Dress Factory, Bethlehem PA for many years until retiring, at which time she was a part-time Clerk for 5 years for the former Hess's, Westgate Mall, Bethlehem PA. She was a Member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown PA.

She is survived by her Daughter, Joanne B. Walczer of Bethlehem PA; 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased in death by her Daughter, Betty Reed in May 2001.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2002 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Funeral Home. The Reverend Kevin E. Fruchtl officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association Northeastern PA District, PO Box 1392, Bethlehem PA 18018-1392.

Claire M. Booth
Claire M. Booth, age 78, of Hellertown PA, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She is the wife of the late William E. Booth.

Born in Hellertown PA, she is daughter of the late Issac and Anna (Abel) Henderson. She had worked in the Printery at the Bethlehem Steel for 27 years, retiring in September 1974. Clair was a Member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown.

She is survived by her sisters , Barbara A. Wimmer of Hellertown PA, Doris H. Eisenhart of Nazareth PA and Anna M. Henderson of Emmaus PA. She is predeceased in death by her Sister, Virginia A. Kelly.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. Family and Friends may call one hour prior to service Saturday at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Church, 501 Northampton St., Hellertown PA 18055.

Chris P. Bingell
Chris P. Bingell, age 39, of Slatington PA, died Thursday, June 19, 2003 in his home. He was the Husband of Ruth M. (Eck) Bingell. The couple celebrated their 16th Wedding Anniversary this past September.

Born in Allentown PA, he was the son of Richard P. and Madeline A. (Kern) Bingell of Schnecksville PA. He was an HVAC Technician with All American Heating & Cooling, Inc., Schnecksville. He was a Member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs PA.

He is survived by his Wife and Parents; and Sister, Kay E. Bingell of Allentown PA.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Family and Friends may Call 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home. The Reverend Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Interment in Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.

Daniel Bratkovics
Daniel Bratkovics, age 23, of Clifton Heights PA, died Friday, April 25, 2003 in Clifton Heights PA. Born in Fountain Hill PA, he was the son of William J. Bratkovics II and Katherine A. (Takacs) Bratkovics. He was a Construction worker in Quakertown PA. He was of the Catholic Faith.

He is survived by his Parents; brothers , William J. Bratkovics III of Wilson Borough PA and Eric M. Bratkovics of Bethlehem PA; Sister, Kristin M. Connell of Hellertown PA;Maternal Grandparents, Stephen and Vilma (Hirsch) Takacs of Bethlehem PA; and Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. There are no calling hours. Interment will be Private and at the convenience of the Family.
