Arthur R. Amelio, Sr.
Arthur R. Amelio, Sr., age 67, of 2521 Apple Street, Hellertown PA, died Tuesday, December 5, 2000 at his residence. He was the Husband of Elva M. (Garganta) Amelio. The couple celebrated their 40th Anniversary this past September 10th.
Born April 8, 1933 in Bethlehem PA, he was the Son of the late Rudolph Amelio and Julia (Agular) Amelio. He was a Supervisor of the No 2 Machine Shop, Bethlehem Steel for 31 years, retiring in 1987. He worked part-time as a Grounds Keeper at the Silver Creek Country Club, Hellertown until 1998. He was a Member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown PA. He was also a Member of the Holy Name Society of the Church; the Edward H. Ackerman Post 397 of Hellertown; the Wanderers Club of Bethlehem; Past Coach of the South Bethlehem Baseball League and Past Coach of the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Little League.
He is survived by his Wife; sons , Arthur R. Amelio, Jr. of Palmyra NJ and Joseph M. Amelio of Hellertown PA; Daughter, Annette M. Beers of Hellertown PA; Brother, Robert R. Amelio, Sr. of Allentown PA; sisters , Sara Alonzo of Bethlehem PA, Julia Kuruc of Bethlehem PA, Aurora Kundrik of Bethlehem PA, Elvira Mingora of Bethlehem PA and Angela Stralo of Bethlehem PA; and 5 Grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by a Brother, Rudolph Amelio Sr. and a Sister, Sophie Guiterrez.
Funeral Services will be held 9:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2000 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown PA. Calling Hours will be Wednesday, December 6, 2000 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. Interment at :Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem PA.

Edna K. (Ditch) Ankrom
Edna K. (Ditch) Ankrom, age 95, of 3017 Mauch chunk Road, Allentown PA, died Sunday, July 16, 2000 in the Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown PA. She was the widow of the late Earl A. Ankrom.
Born March 13, 1905 in Little Soldier PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie S. (Hetrick) Ditch. She was a Seamstress for the former National Underwear in Allentown, for 40 years retiring in 1963. She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, White hall PA.
She is survived by Son, Larry R. Ankrom of Breinigsville PA; Sister, Ruth Snyder of Westland MI; 4 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by a Son, Harold H. Ankrom who died in 1990.
Funeral Services will be Private. The will be no Calling Hours. Interment will be in St. John’s Union Cemetery, White hall PA. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA is in charge of the arrangements.

Hannah S. Arnold, age 63, of Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg PA, formerly of Bethlehem PA, died Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown PA.
Born in Allentown PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Caroline J. (Miller) Arnold. She worked for the Lehigh Valley Association of Rehabilitation Centers (LARC), Bethlehem PA. She was a Member of the Faith United Church of Christ, Center Valley PA.
She is survived by her brothers , Wilbert M. Arnold of Coopersburg PA, Norbert W. Arnold of Coopersburg PA, Harold E. Arnold of Center Valley PA, Francis R. Arnold of Allentown PA and Millard J. Arnold of Macungie PA.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Funeral Home. Interment in New Jerusalem Cemetery, Lower Saucon Township PA.

Jeffrey C. Anewalt
Jeffrey C. Anewalt, age 40, of Freemansburg PA, died Monday, July 26, 2004 in Fountain Hill. He was the Husband of Eileen M. (Stair) Anewalt, to whom he was married 8 years.
Born in Fountain Hill PA, he was the Son of Clyde W. and Elizabeth (Yob) Anewalt of Freemansburg PA. He was a Tutor at the Northampton Community College for the past 2 years. He was a Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Bethlehem PA.
He is survived by his Wife and Parents; Daughter, Erica A. Anewalt; and Brother, Thomas C. Anewalt.

John L. Alich
John L. Alich, age 86, of 981 Juniper Road, Hellertown PA, died Tuesday, January 16, 2001 at ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem PA. He was the Widower of the late Theresa (Kerschner) Alich.
Born November 22, 1914 in Bethlehem PA, he was the Son of the late Andrew and Barbara (maiden name not known) Alich. He worked in the Foundry of the Bethlehem Steel Company for 42 years until his retirement. He was a Member of the Church of St. Theresa of The Child Jesus Hellertown PA.
He is survived by his Son, Ernest S. Alich of Bethlehem PA; Daughter, Elizabeth G. Bunosky of Pittsburgh CA; Sister, Elizabeth King of Delaware; Four Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by his Son, Eugene Alich.

Lois Marie Arner
Lois Marie Arner, age 76, of Rentzheimer Drive, Hellertown PA, died Monday, May 03, 2004 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She was the Wife of James D. Arner. The couple celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary this past February.
Born in Bethlehem PA, she was the Daughter of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Shearer) Schrader. She was a Registered Nurse at St. Luke's Hospital for 25 years until retiring. She was a Graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing in 1948.
She is survived by her Husband; sons , Scott K. Arner, husband of Deborah of Bethlehem PA and Jeffrey D. Arner of Hellertown PA; daughters , Susan I., wife of Floyd L. Hackman of Lehighton PA and Joan F., wife of David E. Green of Hellertown PA; 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Larry R. Ankrom
Larry R. Ankrom, age 62, of Cedar Road, Breinigsville PA, died Sunday, January 12, 2003 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. He was the Husband of Mary A. (Gallucci) Ankrom. The couple celebrated their 31st Wedding Anniversary last April.
Born in Allentown PA, he was the son of the late Earl A. and Edna K. (Ditch) Ankrom. He was a Self-Employed Owner/Operator of a Water Hauling company for 10 years. Prior to that, he was a Truck Driver for 20 years. He served in the United States National Guard.
He is survived by his Wife; Daughter, Maryann Remaley of Emmaus PA; Son, Richard Ankrom of Bath PA; 3 Grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at St. John's Union Cemetery, 2918 MacArthur Road, White hall PA. There are no Calling Hours. The Reverend Howard L. Lawler officiating. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
Rose Susan Antal
Rose Susan Antal, age 79, of 863 Milmar Road, Newtown Square, Radnor Township PA, formerly of Hellertown PA, died Monday, October 30, 2000 at the Bryn Mawr Hospital, Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County PA. She was the widow of the late Henry "Hank" J. Antal.
Born August 24, 1921 in Wimber PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (Belus) Buchkoski. She was a member of St. John Neuman Catholic Church, Bryn Mawr PA.
She is survived by her Daughter, Rosemarie A. Torretti, with whom she resided; Brother, Joseph Malenda of Port Richey FL; 4 Granddaughters and 2 Great Granddaughters.

Vincent R. Achey
Vincent R. Achey, age 77, of 1837 Timber Lane, Hellertown PA, died Monday, April 24, 2000 in the ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem PA. He was the widower of the late Ada J. (Keller) Achey.
Born March 12, 1923 in Bethlehem PA, he was the son of the late Stewart C. and Florence (Schoenberger) Achey. He was a Cook for the Crossroads Hotel in Hellertown for many years until retiring. He was a member of Lower Saucon United Church of Christ, Hellertown PA. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by Two daughters , Betty M., wife of Ronald B. Taylor of Melbourne FL and April E., wife of Gregory R. Bealer with whom he resided; A Brother, Calvin Achey of Englewood CO; 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
