She was born October 10, 1930 in Pentress, W.Va. to the late Ottie Mabel Cline Tennant Copeland and Wayne Tennant. Mrs. LaPoe was a Protestant by faith. She worked for several years as a Facilities Analyst for W.Va. University in Morgantown, W.Va. from where she retired. She was also a Homemaker. Surviving are her Husband: Charles E. He was the son of the late Leasure and Grace(Kuhn) Pyle. Mr Pyle lived his entire life in Greene Co. He was a Veteran of the

She was born April 20, 1932 in Waynesburg, PA a Daughter of the late Lee Wilson and Margaret Cumpston Wilson of Waynesburg, PA Mrs. Mason was affiliated with the Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and writing. She had worked as manager of the Country Kitchen Restaurant in Austintown, Ohio and later worked for the Curry Memorial Home in the Dietary Dept. Donald Dwight Adams, Sr., 67 of Mt. Morris, PA died at 10:30AM Saturday, August 7, 2004 at home. He was born February 22, 1937 in Troy, WV. A Son of the late Harold Adams and Opal Powell Adams. Mr. Adams was a member of the United Mine Workers local #7. He worked for 15 years for Sterling Faucet in Morgantown, WV. He then worked for 22 years for Consolidation Coal Co. retiring in 1994. Mr. Adams enjoyed deer hunting and coon hunting. He raised several Coon hounds while his health permitted. He also enjoyed country music. Mrs Stanton was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Waynesburg. She was a Graduate of Northern Garrett Co. High School class of 1968 and a Graduate of Waynesburg College Class of 1990 with a degree in Nursing. For 13 years she was the Nursing Supervisor at the Greene Co. Memorial Hospital in Waynesburg. Memorial Hosp. in Waynesburg She was born July 26, 1922 in Masontown, PA A Daughter of the late James Robert Griffith and Iva Frankhouser Griffith. Mrs. Hartley was a member of the Washington St. United Methodist Church in Waynesburg where she was financial Secretary for 20 years. She served on the Administrative board and the finance committee, She was a member of the John Wesley Sunday School Class. She was past president of the Bridge St. Commons Council and was a past member of the Ladies Aux. of the V.F.W. Post #4793 of Waynesburg. She was one of the founders and a former officer of the little league baseball and she was an advid quilter. She worked for several years for Waynesburg Hardware as their bookeeper. She later worked for Community Action Day Care as Supervisor at the Presbyterian Church retiring in 1986. Her Husband: Roy E. Hartley whom she married May 9, 1948 died January 5, 1966. She was born December 9, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA She was the Daughter of the late Edward and Rose McClafferty Sickenberger. Mrs. Yorio was a member of the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Star City, W.Va. She worked since 1983 at the W.Va. University in Morgantown in Arts and Science Undergraduate Advising. Dorothea R. Thistlewaite, 87 of NOrth Porter St. Waynesburg, PA died at 4:30AM Monday March 3, 2003 at the Greene Co.Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 23, 1916 in Cadillac, Mich to the late Harry and Emma Schnatterly Reynolds. Mrs. Thistlewaite was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waynesburg where she was a member of the Tracy Sunday School Class. Over the years she had served on various boards in the church. She was a member of the former Lady Greene Rebecca Lodge in Waynesburg and was a member of the Women of the Moose #888. She played the piano for several years for the Women of the Moose. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She taught for 36 years for Central Greene School District retiring in 1975. Her Husband: Andrew C. Thistlewaite whom she married July 30, 1938 died November 11, 1974. Surviving are 1 Daughter: Linda Filiatrault of Waynesburg, PA 3 Grandchildren: Mark Fox, John L. She is the Daughter of the late James F. and Maude Walker Wilson. She was born February 27, 1929 in Point Marion. Mrs. Granlee was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waynesburg. She was a Graduate of Waynesburg High School class of 1950 and a member of the Emerald Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #135. She worked for 5 years for the former G.C. Murphy Store in Waynesburg and then worked 20 years for South Penn-Mid Penn Telephone as a Telephone operator. Her Husband: Donald C. (Lefty) Granlee died August 14, 1991. She was born July 5, 1920 in Winston Salem, N.C. to the late Eli and Ruby Crutchfield Pope. Mrs. Headley was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesburg, PA She worked for several years for Penn. Dept. of Transportation as a clerk. She then began working for Fisher Big Wheel in Waynesburg when they First opened and continued to work there until the store closed. While working at Fishers she also was a teachers aid at the Mather Intermediate Unit 1 school for Special Need children. Dr. Charles L. Bryner Sr., 88 of Waynesburg, PA died at 5:50PM on Sunday Oct. 5, 2003 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home Waynesburg. He was born Oct. 15, 1914 in Dunbar, PA He was the Son of the late Henry and Sarah Hardy Bryner.Dr. Bryner was affiliated with the Methodist Faith. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a Commanding Officer of a U.S. Naval Vessel during W.W.II. While his health permitted he was active in the Waynesburg Beagle Club. Dr. Bryner was a graduate of Waynesburg College in 1940 and earned his Doctorate in Botany from W.V.U. in 1952. Following his graduating from Waynesburg College in 1940 he began working for the College as a Professor of Math and Science. During his years at Waynesburg College he was Chairman of the Science Dept. for years. He also served as a Vice President of the College and was Dean of Men. Surivivng are his Wife: A. Marie Wilson Bryner whom he married August 24, 1947. 1 Daughter: Dr. Lisbeth Lord of Lafayette, Colorado 1 Son: Captain Charles L.
