Stanley T. Tylka
Mt. Pleasant

Stanley T. Tylka, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, in Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Born in Mt. Pleasant, Sept. 18, 1911, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Angeline Zilinsky Tylka. He was a member of Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. He worked as a coal miner at Maple Creek Mine for 33 years. He was also a member of the United Mine Workers of America Local #156 and the Mt. Pleasant Firemen's Club. Surviving are his loving family; his wife of 53 years, Blanche R. Domurat Tylka; his children, Kathleen Mizikar and her husband, David M., of Mammoth, Jo-ann E. Parks and her husband, Bruce, of Louisville, Ky., and Thomas N. Tylka and his wife, Vanessa, of Mt. Pleasant; brothers , John Tylka and his wife, Evelyn, of Chicago, Ill., and Walter Tylka and his wife, Martha, of Lorain, Ohio; and sisters , Mary Stafira and Helen Chernek, both of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by brothers , Frank, Michael and Joseph Tylka; and sisters , Sophie Borek and Catherine Kramarski. Friends will be received from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at GALONE-CARUSO'S, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant, with Father Michael W. Matusak as celebrant. Interment in Transfiguration Parish Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.

William G. Zeilinger
Leesburg, Fla.
Formerly of Youngwood

William G. Zeilinger, 88, of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of Youngwood, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000, in Leesburg. He was born Aug. 12, 1912, in Hempfield Township, a son of the late John E. and Pearl Sanner Zeilinger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Donald A. Zeilinger, in 1981. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy O. Zeilinger of Leesburg, Fla.; two sons , Earl E. Zeilinger of Auburn, Calif., and Robert G. Zeilinger of Eustis, Fla.; a daughter, Carol Ruth Waybright of Leesburg, Fla.; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was a retired production engineer from Robertshaw-Fulton Controls of New Stanton, after 41 years of service. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Robertshaw Retirees Club, the Robertshaw Golf Club, the Youngwood Park and Pool and the Teamsters Union. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Youngwood and the Senior Citizens Group of the church. Friends will be received at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Merritt Edner officiating. Interment to follow at Middletown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation, 1501 NW Ninth Ave., Miami, FL 33136.

Henrietta R. Cramer,
Latrobe

Henrietta R. Cramer, 75, of Latrobe RD1, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, at IHS of Greater Pittsburgh, Hempfield Township. She was born June 30, 1925, in Unity Township, a daughter of the late Samuel P. and Catherine (Kristofeck) Schmucker. She was a member of St. Vincent Basilica Parish, Latrobe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan H. Cramer; and a sister. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra L. Vargo at home; a son, Glenn W. Cramer and wife, Debra, of Ligonier; two grandchildren, Keith and Jennifer Cramer, both of Ligonier; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the GAUT-BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., Pleasant Unity, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Vincent Basilica, Latrobe, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.

Catherine Ann Wicker Dowling
Harmony

Catherine Ann Wicker Dowling, 89, died Sept 9, 2000, in the Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony. Born April 22, 1911, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara Housman Wicker. Mrs. Dowling was a homemaker. Survivors include: two sons , Harry E. Dowling of North Carolina and Ralph O. Dowling of Valencia; one daughter, Clara L. Dowling of Avalon; one grandson, Scott O. Dowling of Columbus, Ohio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Dowling and one son, Walter J. Dowling. There will be no visitation and burial will be private. Arrangements by H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME INC.

Mary M. Drabisin
North Braddock

Mary M. Drabisin, 87, died on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000. She was a member and past president of the Christian Mothers of Holy Cross Parish. She was secretary of the Catholic Slovak Ladies Union Branch 433. Wife of John M. Drabisin Sr.; mother of Geraldine Moore, and husband Robert, of Irwin, and John Drabisin Jr., and wife Patricia, of North Huntingdon; sister of Eleanor McCloskey of Colo., Magdeline Bianco of North Braddock, the late Leonard Banas and the late William Banas. Survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Linden Ave., East Pittsburgh. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Helen Church of Holy Cross Parish on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Anna Ducar, 79, of Munhall, on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000. Sister of Mary Bobick of Munhall, Frances (Steve) Fischer of West Homestead, Martha (Tom Jr.) McAloon of White hall, Dolores (Don) Rohac of Irwin, Bernard (Janet) Ducar of Whitacre, Leonard Ducar of Duquesne and the late Joseph, Michael and John Ducar. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main St., Munhall, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Cathedral, Munhall. Interment in the parish cemetery.

Margaret E. (Trout) Enders
Annandale, Va.,
Formerly of South Greensburg

Margaret E. (Trout) Enders, 94, of Annandale, Va., formerly of South Greensburg, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, in the Sleepy Hollow Nursing Home, Annandale. She was born Feb. 24, 1906, in Udell, a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Frances (Gramlich) Trout. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Annandale, and a former member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. "Bimp" Enders, in 1982; and a son, Paul Enders, in 1952. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Rose Cerva and her husband, Calvin H., of Annandale, Va. (with whom she has resided since 1983); three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dallas Trout of New Stanton. Friends will be received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. ONLY. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg, with the Rev. Blane L. Resko, O.S.B., as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Hempfield Township.

Elizabeth C. Hauger
Mt. Pleasant

Elizabeth C. "Lizzie" Hauger, 99, of Mt. Pleasant RD5, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000. She was born Jan. 23, 1901, in Donegal Township, a daughter of the late C.A. and Mary Boomer Auman. She was a member of the Stahlstown United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Hauger, in 1983; a son, Earnest L. Hauger, in 1943 while serving in Europe with the U.S. Army during World War II; three brothers , John, Frank and Eugene Auman; two sisters , Ruth Cox and Ida Ross; and a great-grandson, Benjamin M. Geary. She is survived by her daughter, Mary L. Geary and her husband, Dean S., of Mt. Pleasant; two grandsons, Ronald D. Geary and his wife, Susan J., of Stahlstown and Lynn J. Geary and his wife, Carol J., of Mt. Pleasant; five great-grandchildren, Richard L. Geary and his wife, Mindy, of Connellsville, Michael S. Geary and his wife, Tricia, and Naomi R. Geary, all of Pensacola, Fla., Adam J. Geary and Cale J. Geary, both of Mt. Pleasant; two great-great-grandchildren, Rachel and Noah Geary; a brother, Ross Auman and his wife, LuLavica of Stahlstown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the L. BOYD SNYDER FUNERAL HOME INC., Church Street, Donegal, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Jamie Snyder Brown, funeral director/supervisor.

Ralph T. Helbling
Shaler

Ralph T. Helbling, 46, of Shaler, died Sept. 16, 2000, at Allegheny General Hospital, North Side, after a traffic accident in McCandless. Born July 16, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Faith Thomas Helbling and the late Oscar Helbling. Mr. Helbling was a sales representative for Hammond Press. In addition to his mother , he is survived by his wife, Melanie; two daughters , Abbey and Mallory Helbling of Shaler; and one sister, Faith Skryp of Reserve. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at NEELY FUNERAL HOME, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Shaler. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bonaventure Church, Shaler. Internment in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Shaler.

Albert L. Hilger
West View

Albert L. Hilger, 98, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, in Windsor Place Nursing Home, Ross. Born Oct. 11, 1901, in Beaver, he was the son of the late Michael and Maryann Roziewicz Hilger. Mr. Hilger was a retired sign painter for Joseph Horne Co. Survivors include two sons , Milton A. Hilger of Baltimore and Albert L. Hilger of New Haven, Conn.; a daughter, JoEllen Duckett of West View; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Bronakoski Hilger; a son, William J. Hilger; and a sister, Sabina Walsh. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross. Christian Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Teresa of Avila Church, Ross. Burial will be in Economy Cemetery, Ambridge.

Muriel Margaret Johnston
North Side

Muriel Margaret Johnston, age 79, died suddenly on Saturday September 16, 2000 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard E. Johnston Sr. Born February 13, 1921 on Spring Hill on the North Side. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Elizabeth (Sanders) Goettmann. In addition to her husband and her parents, Muriel was preceded in death by two stepchildren; Jesse and Howard E. Jr.. She was the owner/secretary for Howard Johnston, Inc. for 45 years and a notary republic for 45 years and was a member of PAN Association of Notaries. Survived by loving children: Ellsworth Johnston of Sewickley, Eugene Johnston and his wife Connie of West View, Ethel Johnston and Lloyd Johnston of North side, Muriel E. hess and her husband Ronald J, of Ross Township, Carol Foley and her husband William of Pine, Ronald Johnston of Smethport, PA; a stepson Ralph Johnston of Butler, PA; a brother, Gilbert Goettmann of Ross Township. Also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Schellhaas Funeral Home Inc, 388 Center Avenue, West View. Service will be held in St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 920 Perry Highway on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Robert Stroebel will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless Twp.
