Roy J. Sadler Sr.
Claridge

Roy J. "Posey" Sadler Sr., 60, of Claridge, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000, in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 22, 1939, in Jeannette, a son of Mary Franklin Sadler of Claridge and the late Edward Sadler Jr. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for more than 30 years as a pipe fitter for the Elliott Co. in Jeannette. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Bushy Run American Legion Post 260 in Claridge and was the commander from 1994 to 1995. He was a member of the APA Pool League, the Claridge Volunteer Fire Department Station No. 63 and the Easy Cruisers Classic Car Club. In addition to his mother , he is survived by his mother -in-law, Mom Rudick; his wife of 36 years, Carol Rudick Sadler; two sons , Roy J. Sadler Jr. and wife, Misi, and John Sadler and wife, Sabrina, both of Claridge; a daughter, Sandra Schollaert and husband, Erik, of New Alexandria; a brother, Edward R. Sadler of Claridge; six grandchildren, John Albert, Abrianna, Ryan, Ricky, Jesse and Alexis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Harrison City, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert J. Seilhamer officiating. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery, Hempfield Township.

Robert V. Seltmann
White hall

Robert V. Seltmann, 80, of White hall, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000. Beloved husband of Agnes "Skip"; loving Father of Victoria "Vicki" (David) Frisch, Bob Jr. (Dawn) and Gregg (Sally); beloved brother of Dorothy Roessler; loving "Pap Pap" of seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bob was a Mason and a veteran of World War II. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. If desired, the family suggests contributions to the Baldwin Community United Methodist Church, 5001 Baptist Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

Edith M. Setta
North Side

Edith M. Setta, 70, of North Side, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born June 14, 1930 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Walsh Kinross. She was a retired worker at the Vincention Home, McCandless. Survivors include two daughters , Janet Garrity of Ross and Pamela Williams of Franklin Park; one brother, Walter Kinross of McCandless; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross. A blessing service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in North Side Catholic Cemetery, Ross. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Harry G. Sprung
Bellevue

Harry G. Sprung, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000. Mr. Sprung was the devoted Father of 12 children and 25 grandchildren. He was a 1939 graduate of St. Mary of the Mount High School, Mt. Washington . He made All-Catholic Basketball, 1939. Mr. Sprung was a 1943 graduate of Mount St. Mary's College, Emmitsburg, Md. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served as an officer in Europe and the Pacific. He was active in his college alumni group, the Knights of Columbus 1400 and American Legion Post 0756. Harry played the organ and piano and sang in several church choirs with his uncles at one time and was a daily communicant devoted to the Blessed mother and the Holy Rosary. He was married for 50 years to the late Doris Sprung, beloved mother of their 12 children. He was married in March 1999 at the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind. by the Rev. Theodore Hesburgh, president emeritus of Notre Dame, to his high school classmate, the former Winifred Virginia Fleig of Mt. Washington , a widow with eight children and 19 grandchildren in California and Colorado. Friends will be received from noon to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 460 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Church of the Assumption, 45 N. Sprague Ave., Bellevue. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Assumption School Development Fund, 35 N. Jackson Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202 or to Mount St. Mary's College, c/o Alumni Office Scholars Program, Phil M. Glade, Director, Emmitsburg, MD 21727. May he rest in peace after his long illness this past year.

Eva C. Syster
Latrobe

Eva C. Syster, 96, of Latrobe, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born April 7, 1904, in Ligonier, she was a daughter of the late A. Jefferson and Pearl Jones Clawson. She was a member of Latrobe United Methodist Church, where she was a lifelong member of the church choir and the women's circle. She was past Worthy Matron of the Derry Order of the Eastern Star and past member of the Century Club. She loved gardening and sewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde S. Syster, in 1968; her brothers , Lawrence, Paul and Glenn Clawson; and a sister, Beatrice Tosh. She is survived by her son, Donald F. Syster and his wife, Shirley, of Latrobe; a daughter, Mrs. Albert L. (Lois) Walter, of Latrobe; grandchildren, David and Judy Walter, Nancy and Rod Brett, Jeffrey and Pamela Syster, Donn and Renee Syster, and Brenda and Fred Foster; great-grandchildren, Jill, Jeffrey Jr., Shannon, Erin, Fred, Todd, Brian, Dan, Nathan, Keegan and Jonathan; and two great-great-granddaughters, Sydney and Chelsea. Friends will be received at the FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:15 p.m. in Latrobe United Methodist Church with the Rev. Aimee W. Twigg officiating. (Please go directly to the church.) Interment in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.

David M. Bandemer

David M. Bandemer, 49, of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday morning, Sept. 15, 2000, at his residence. He was born Dec. 17, 1950, in Mt. Pleasant. He graduated from Southmoreland High School, Class of 1970. He was a photographer for the Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Information, Greensburg. He is survived by his parents, Charles L. Sr. and Muriel H. Pershing Bandemer of Mt. Pleasant RD7; his loving wife of 24 years, Sandra Keenan Bandemer; four daughters , Laura L. Bandemer and fiance, Jon Philippi, of Merritt Island, Fla., Teresa R. Bandemer of Mt. Pleasant, and Rachel S. and Amy B. Bandemer, both at home; a brother, Charles L. Bandemer Jr. and wife, Susan, of Coppell, Texas ; two sisters , Nancy L. Allen and husband, John, of Houston, Texas , and Melissa R. Howard and husband, Keith, of Crestview, Fla.; his Father - and mother -in-law, Thomas Sr. and Rita L. Palmer Keenan of Herminie; two brothers -in-law, Thomas Keenan Jr. and Joseph Keenan, both of Herminie; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Maywood and husband, Wayne, of North Huntingdon. Friends will be received in the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Andrew F. Dougherty officiating. Interment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery.

The Rev. Dr. Harry G. Cadamore
Port Orange, Fla.,
Formerly of Natrona Heights

The Rev. Dr. Harry G. Cadamore, 74, of Port Orange, Fla., formerly of Natrona Heights, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000, at his home. Born Feb. 2, 1926, in Brackenridge, he was a son of the late William J. and Jeanette (Anderson) Cadamore. He was a resident of Florida for the past 11 years and prior to that resided in West Newton and Natrona Heights. A World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired minister for the Churches of God, serving churches in Pennsylvania , Ohio and Indiana for 40 years. Dr. Cadamore served as conference administrator for his denomination in Pennsylvania for 10 years and was journalizing secretary for 18 years. He was a member of the Board of Missions with eight trips to Haiti. He served as assistant to the president of Winebrenner Seminary in Findlay, Ohio. He was the business manager of the White Chapel Church of God and Warner Christian Academy for seven years after retiring from the ministry. Dr. Cadamore graduated from Findlay (Ohio) College in 1950 and attended Winebrenner Theology Seminary. He received an honorary doctor degree from the University of Findlay in 1989. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Betty (Grafton) Cadamore; a son, Robert J. Cadamore of Carnegie; a daughter, Suellen C. Bottorf of Cross Lanes, W.Va.; four grandchildren; a stepgranddaughter; a great-granddaughter; and a brother, John Cadamore of Natrona Heights. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Cadamore; and two sisters , Velda Helsel and Irma Leslie. Relatives and friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 10th Avenue and Corbet Street, Tarentum. Worship and committal services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Memorial Park Chapel, Lower Burrell, with the Rev. William Rodahaver officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. Family suggests contributions to Hospice of Vol/Flager, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32119.

Rosemarie J. Maiolo Capetillo

Rosemarie J. Maiolo Capetillo, 64, died Sept. 13, 2000 in Suburban General Hospital, Bellevue. Born Aug. 14, 1936 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Rose Poerio Maiolo. Mrs. Capetillo was retired draperies sales associate for Sears. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic Church, Ross. Survivors include her husband, Samuel A. Capetillo; a son, Frank A. Capetillo of Akron, Ohio; a daughter, Theresa A. Ciccone of Squirrel Hill; three brothers , Russ Maiolo of McCandless and Frank Maiolo and Anthony Maiolo, both of Ross; a sister, Josephine Braunstein of East Liverpool, Ohio; a granddaughter, Kimberly Capetillo of New Kensington; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Capetillo; a sister, Elia Miller; and a brother, Dominic Maiolo. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to p.m. Friday in the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Perry Highway, Perrysville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic, Ross. Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless. Carole Louise Cocain
Scottdale

Carole Louise Cocain, 63, of Scottdale RD1, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, at her home. She was born Aug. 21, 1937, in Greensburg, a daughter of Alberta Braun Cocain of Scottdale RD1 and the late Robert V. Cocain, who died in 1980. She was a secretary for the Senior Tigers of Connellsville. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Scottdale, the Connellsville Tigers Senior Center and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #562 of Scottdale, where she was Past Matron. In addition to her mother , she is survived by two brothers , Henry T. Cocain and his wife, Kathleen, of Sharpsville and Robert V. Cocain of Ventura, Calif. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the MURPHY-CARUSO MEMORIAL HOME, 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Andrew F. Dougherty III officiating. Interment in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville. The family suggests contributions be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Scottdale in memory of Carole Cocain. The Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #562 will hold a memorial service at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Ralph DeCarlucci Jr.
Mt. Lebanon

Ralph DeCarlucci Jr., 62, of Mt. Lebanon, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000, in Forbes Hospice. Born July 4, 1938 in Uniontown, Pa., he was the son of the late Columba Russo and Ralph DeCarlucci Sr. He worked as barber, hairstylist and manager for Masculine Manor in Scott for 27 years. Ralph was a 39 year resident of Mt. Lebanon and a member of St. Bernard Church, Mt. Lebanon, where he was a former of usher. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Shallenberger DeCarlucci; four sons , R. Matthew DeCarlucci of Burlington, Mass., Stephen L. DeCarlucci of Dormont, Mark E. DeCarlucci of Greensburg and David A. DeCarlucci of Brookline; three sisters , Ponsella Ewing and Rita DeCarlucci of Uniontown, Pa. and Joann Blocher of Arnold, Md.; and five grandchildren. There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Bernard Church, Mt. Lebanon with the Rev. James Torquatto as celebrant. Interment will be in the mausoleum at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the mausoleum following services. Memorial contributions may be made to Forbes Hospice, Frankstown Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15206 or St. Bernard Church, Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon. Matthew D. Gladden
Palm Harbor, Fla.

Matthew D. Gladden, 25, of Palm Harbor, Fla., died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, in an auto accident. Matthew lived in Monroeville until age 11, then moved to Erie with his family. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Marine Headquarters, 8th & I in Washington , D.C., then served two tours of South America. After his term of service he moved to Florida and worked as a supervisor for a large security firm. He is survived by his parents, Carol and Keith Kaufman of Palm Harbor, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Richard Jr. and Angela Gladden with niece, Allison, of Erie; sister, Tracy Kaufman of Columbus, Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Gregg Burns with nephew, Nicholas Ruefle, of Pittsburgh; and grandmothers, Helen Kaufman of Oakmont and Ellen Zaus of Englewood, Fla. Memorial services to be held in Penn Hills at Trinity Towers United Methodist Church, 6729 Saltsburg Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235, Saturday, Sept. 16, at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be sent in honor of Matthew D. Gladden to: Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches, 3180 Enterprise Road East, Safety Harbor, FL 34695.
