Shirley Fournier
Piano teacher
Shirley (Sprague) Four-nier, 73, of Whitehall died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007.
She was the wife of the late Raymond Fournier; mother of John, Wendy (Edward) Savrese, Andrew and Scott (Jill) Fournier; grandmother of Connor, Savannah, Kaitlin and Austin; sister of Janet (Charles) Hockinson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mrs. Fournier grew up in Avalon and graduated from IUP as a music major, then taught in the Montour School District for several years. She married the love of her life, Raymond, in August 1964. Outside of raising her children, one of her great loves was teaching piano to children in the South Hills.
She was a devoted member of the Baldwin United Methodist Church and choir. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Baptist Homes for their love and care.

Aldeane Holmes, 78, of Baldwin Borough, died Nov. 12, 2007.
She was the wife of Richard; mother of Jane McGovern and Janet Tarker; grandmother of Deann (Richard) Eichenberger, Ricki (Woodie) Nace, Bryan (Christine) Barnhart, G.R. (Rosemary) Metz, Nicholas Tarker, Christopher Tarker and Rebecca Tarker; great-grandmother of Tara Barnhart, Ashley Eichen-berger, R.J. Nace, Brandy Nace, Jakeub Nace, Rebecca Barnhart, Kody Barnhart, Victoria Metz and Thomas Metz.
Sister of Ruth Gallagher, Mildred Bakey, Coleman McDonough and the late Charles McDonough, Augus-tus McDonough, Patrick McDonough and Janet Pirring.

George Roscoe
Of Whitehall
George Roscoe, 87, of Whitehall died.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1920, in McKees Rocks. He was the husband of Velma (Beaumariage) Roscoe for 45 years; son of the late George and Ann Roscoe; brother of Sylvia Barkley of California, Al (Lydia) Roscoe of Allison Park and the late David Roscoe.

Russell Zimmerman III
Master electrician, avid Steelers fan
Russell Zimmerman III of Baldwin died Dec. 22, 2007 after a 22-year battle with multiple sclerosis.
Mr. Zimmerman was a master electrician and avid Steelers fan. He battled his illness with great dignity and was an inspiration to those who met him.
He valued his friends, who include Donna Tompkins, Patty and Brittany Andews, Sonora Benzo, Gloria Hartage, Debbie Mastic, Stephanie Allen, Mary Cronauer, his neighbor of 15 years, Walt and Suzy Petrie, Rick Ross, Betty Desalvo, his physical therapist, and Bo and Jackie Bufo.
He is survived by his daughter Pamela Jean and son-in-law Thomas Johnson Jr. of Orlando, Fla., and his five sisters: Betty Jean Zayac and husband Tom, Bernadette Istik and husband Rich, Judith Tompkins and husband Dallas, Barbara Harley and husband Dave of West Midlands, U.K., Patricia Zimmerman of Borea, Ohio; and half-brother Charles Zimmerman of Lincoln Park, Mich.
He also is survived by his late mothers' sisters: Vera (Ella) Collins and Ted, Dolores and John Bucko, Anna and the late Stephen Volpe and Josephine and the late Herman Peters.
He is preceded in death by his brother Robert and wife Cheri Ann (Bonenberger).
The family would like to thank the team from Odyssey Hospice, including Cathy Miller, Becky, Michelle, Stephanie, Mike, Patrick, Pat R., Mardell and Hayley; Dr. David Lilienthal and his office staff; the entire UPMC Home Health team; Franck's Pharmacy; Home Instead; Susan and the group from Interim Health; and everyone at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Jacqueline Bruno

Jacqueline Ferris Bruno, 65, of Pittsburgh, died on Friday, Dec. 21, 2007.
She was the wife of the late Angelo Bruno; mother of Jerry Bruno; sister of Clara Mae (Don) Schwenning, John "Butch" (Judy) and Robert (Roz) Ferris.
She will be missed by all of her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as her "special babies, " Kory and Emmy.

Michael Hartman
TJ graduate
Michael Hartman, 29, of Pleasant Hills, died Dec. 23, 2007.
He was the son of Michael Hartman and Noreen (Glowacki) Hartman; identical twin brother of the late Matthew Hartman.
He was born at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital, Washington, D.C. on June 14, 1978.
Mr. Hartman was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School.
He was the grandson of Annette Glowacki of South Side. Preceded in death by grandparents, Francis "Pinky" Glowacki and Casper "Cap" and Marion Hartman and his uncle, Robert Hartman.
He is survived by his aunts and uncles: Michael and DeeDee Glowacki, Gary Zywotko, Lynn, Nancy, Richard, Gary, Edward and Colleen Hartman; cousins Kelly (Glowacki) and Charlize Donaldson, Jason Glowacki and others.
