(Marina) Ruggiero, Lisa Kemmerling and Michelle (David) Terrick; grandfather of Donald (Jessica) Kemmerling, Alex Ruggiero, Renee Ruggiero, David Terrick, Tyler Olzak and Nathan Terrick; great grandfather of Faith Kemmerling; brother of Mufalda Fontana, Philip Ruggiero, Yolanda Evich, Helen McCloskey and the late Rosemarie Keitz. Matthew R. "Matt" Stock, age 25, suddenly on Sunday, March 30, 2008. The Whitehall man was the beloved boyfriend of Rachel Myers; loving son of Albert H. and the late Midge (Rall); cherished brother of Jim (Jackie), Bill (Barb), Gary, Kathy (Bill) Narr and Janet (Don) Lower; uncle of Kelly, Nicole, Rachel, Hannah, Liam, Mikaela, Jacob, Joshua, Mason and Dylan; godfather and uncle of Leah. Stock was also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins and numerous friends. Matt recently completed his Masters in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and was working as a Software Engineer. He was an avid Penguins fan, golfer and camper. He will be deeply missed by all. Arrangements were made by John F. Ruth E. Landosky, 85, a former Baldwin Borough resident, died on March 27, 2008. She was the wife of the late Edward E.; beloved mother of Sandra Schaefer and James (Judy) Landosky; loving grandmother of Jeffrey (Wendy) & Daniel (Noelle) Schaefer, Jamie (Anthony) Fleming and Mark Landosky; proud grandmother of Christian, Ashley, Jeffrey Jr., Rebecca and Sarah Schaefer and Samantha Fleming; sister of Norma Bartosch, the late Henry (Phoebe) Hays, Shirley (Charles) Dryer and John "Jack" Hays; daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta Hays of Baldwin Borough. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ruth retired from Tel-Communications at Jefferson Hospital after more than 20 years of service. Louis F. Ney, 74, of Jefferson Hills, died on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. He was the husband of the late Nancy B. Ney; brother of Ray Ney and Marie Pukansky; brother-in-law of Dorothy Ney; also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Louis was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a life member of the Gill Hall Fire Co. and a retired federal government employee in Oakdale, PA.

Robert F. Macartie, 72, of Brentwood, died on Friday, March 28, 2008. He was the beloved husband and partner of Marla for more than 10 years; loving father of Sherry, Patricia, Jason and the late Robert Macartie, Jr.; borther of George of San Diego, CA; grandfather of Sarah, Stephanie, Robert III, Isabella and Alexander; and great-grandfather of Dominic.
Bob was in the tire and auto business for more than 40 years.
He and his wife owned "The Other End" bar in Brentwood for 17 years. Bob will be missed by many friends and patrons. Arrangements were handled by the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home, Inc.

Pearl C. (Fuoco) Shmoker, 78, of Whitehall, and formerly of Monessen, died on Saturday, March 29, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late John F. Schmoker; loving sister of Frank (Beatrice) Fuoco, Albert (Marie) Fuoco, her twin William (Martha) Fuoco, Louise (Larry) Del Rosso, Frances (the late Paul) Hazen and the late Alice Romito; also survived by nine nephews and six nieces. Pearl was a member of the Italian Sons and Daughters Association and was an employee with JC Penney company for many years. She had many friends there. Ursula L. "Sally" Holewinski, 66, of Whitehall, died on Sunday, March 30, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward B. Holewinski; dear mother of Brad Holewinski and Noelle (Charles) Barnes; grandmother of Spencer and Casey Holewinski and Weston and Ava Barnes; sister of Robert Lutz. Robert F. Lipowcan
Accomplished athlete
Robert F. Lipowcan, 47, of Pleasant Hills, died on Sunday, March 30, 2008. He was the beloved son of Martha M. Stankay Lipowcan and the late Frank Lipowcan. He was the loving brother of Ray (Mie) Lipowcan, Bill Lipowcan, Carol (Michael) Kucerovy and Joan (Auggie) Schumaker. She was also survived by 11 nieces and nephews. Robert was an accomplished athlete, excelling in baseball during high school and playing college basketball. He enjoyed all sports and was well-versed in sports trivia. Bob was self-employed as a painter. Bob will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Arrangements were handled by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Pleasant Hills.
Michael Ralph Pacella
Baldwin Resident
Michael Ralph Pacella, 77, passed away peacefully after a brave fight with an extended illness on Friday, March 14, 2008. The Baldwin resident was born on July 5, 1930, the son of the late Nicola and Rosa (Mancini) Pacella, he served in the Korean War as an Air Force sergeant. In 1955, he married Clelia Passero and had four children: Rosemary (Mark) Barber, of Baldwin Township, Teresa (Patrick) Flaherty of Allison Park, Joseph Pacella of Baldwin and Lisa Pacella, who died tragically died in 1989. He was the beloved grandfather to Jessica Rose Hoffman, Michael Joseph and Anthony Paul Pacella, Leah Teresa and Sean Patrick Flaherty. He is also survived by his brother John Pacella and was preceded in death by brothers Ralph and Pasquale Pacella and sisters Angela Federico and Teresa Klersey.
Michael was a carpenter and in his retirement was an avid gardener and a Steelers fan. He enjoyed cooking for his family and was very proud of his Italian heritage. He was much loved and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Arrangements were handled by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills.
