She was the wife of the late Patrick Vendetti; mother of Donna (Ted) Adamski; and grandmother of Michael Patrick Adamski.

Richard Roeschenthaler of Whitehall died Saturday, May 10, 2008.
He was the husband of Patricia Roeschenthaler; father of Linda Snyder (William) of McCandless Township and Christi Davis (John) of Whitehall.
He also was the brother of Ted of Cleveland, William of Baldwin, George of Whitehall and the late Paul and Ralph; grandfather of George and Emily Davis, Anne, Katelin and Ryan Snyder.

Francis Brickett
Father of four
Francis "Brick" Brickett, 78, of Baldwin died Sunday, May 11, 2008.
He was the husband of the late Jean (Miller) Brickett; father of Christopher (Lori), Patricia, Clifford (Beth) Brickett and Lynn (Richard) Hammack; grandfather of Jessica, Sarah, Carly, Shay and Cole; brother of Rita (Joseph) Zappia and Eleanor (Frank) Bernotas; son-in-law of Frances Miller.
He is also survived by three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and 12 nieces and nephews.

Frederick Shirley
Avid sportsman
Frederick Shirley, 82, of Baldwin, died Saturday, May 10, 2008.
He was born Aug. 5, 1925, and was the son of the late Helen Shirley of Shadyside.
After serving in both World War II and the Korean War, Mr. Shirley graduated with a degree in civil engineering and made his career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He served as a design engineer in Pittsburgh from 1960 until his retirement in 1986.
An avid hunter and sportsman, he had been an outstanding member of the Clairton Sportsmen's Club since 1957. He served on the board of directors and dedicated more than 40 years of service to improving the club programs. He became the archery director in 1964 and promoted activities such as Junior Olympic Archer Development (JOAD), senior citizen activities, handicapped shooters, Carlow College and Girl Scout programs.
In 1998, Mr. Shirley was designated the Clairton Sportmen's Club "Sportsman of the Year."
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Shirley; children Linda Bliss (Ed) of Economy Borough and Susan Hoetzlein (George) of Baldwin; grandchildren Shawn and Katherine Bliss, Jennifer (Adam) Scheller and Sarah and Abbey Hoetzlein.

She was the wife of Eugene; mother of Joan Loeb (Martin), Jean Sobieralski (Frank) and Jane Kosco (Michael); sister of the late Edward, John, Elizabeth, James and Joanie; grandmother of Connie, Christopher and Nicole.

Mary Genevieve Lawlor Zmuda, 88, of Brentwood, formerly of Bethel Park, died Friday, May 9, 2008.
She was born on May 21, 1919, in Los Angeles, Calif., the only child of John and Margaret Stack Lawlor.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Zmuda; mother of Joseph Zmuda and his wife Monica of Leesburg, Va., and Robert Zmuda and his long-time companion Herta Brueckl of Highland Park, Margaret Lindner and her husband Andrew of Brentwood, and Donna Carfagno and her husband Robert of Hellertown, PA.
Genevieve was known as "Angel" to her eight grandchildren: Ryan, Jory, Randy, Kira, Rebecca, Jessica, Daniel and Kimberly. She was great-grandmother of Zachary, Christian, Brenna and Collin.
Mary Genevieve worked part-time for Kaufmann's at the Galleria in the drapery department for 17 years.

Mengrang Leong of Baldwin Borough died Sunday, June 15, 2008.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Leong; mother of Jane, John, George, Janet, Joe (Kristin), Beverly, Einstein and Susan; grandmother of Austin, Jacob and Kyla.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was the wife of the late Ben Stepaniak; mother of John (Roberta "Bobbie") Stepaniak and Michael (Jo) Stepaniak; sister of Olga Hulley, Mary Lou Mrvos and the late John Lois Jr.

Kevin Frenock
Avid hockey player
Kevin Frenock, 18, of Pleasant Hills, died suddenly on Saturday, June 21, 2008.
He was the son of James and Rose Frenock; brother of Katie Rose; grandson of Stephen (Yvonne) Frenock, Joan Becker and the late Frank (Marie) Bondi.
He also is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kevin loved sports and was an avid hockey player, dirt bike rider and guitar player.
