Mark McGreevy, 48, of Baldwin, died Friday, June 27, 2008.
Mr. McGreevy sustained traumatic injuries and severe burns from a motorcycle collision in June 2004 that he was unable to recover from after multiple surgeries which caused him to retire under disability from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
He was the father of Daniel McGreevy and Ruth McGreevy; brother of James McGreevy of Salt Lake City, Utah, Barbara (Tony) Bartzcak of Baldwin and Stephen (Diane) McGreevy of Whitehall.

He was the husband of the late Edna Anne (Gilman) Seifert; father of Mark (Anna) Seifert; brother of Frank Seifert of Massachusetts and the late Joseph, George, Dub, Marie and Todd.
Herb retired after 30 years with GM Fischer Auto Parts, West Mifflin Division.

Louise Vecchio, 78, of Baldwin, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007.
She was born Nov. 25, 1928, in New Castle to the late Anthony and Anna Vecchio.
Ms. Vecchio was retired from Koppers where she worked as the treasurer/ manager of the credit union. Sister of Donald Vecchio Sr. and his wife Irene; aunt of Donald (Sheila) Vecchio Jr., Lou Ann Weil (David Jeremko), Robert Vecchio, and Susan (Thomas) Culyba; great-aunt of Amy and Scott Mattila, Stacy Weil, Toni Vecchio, and Jessica Culyba.

He was born in Monessen to the late Leo and Veronica Altermare. He was the husband of Rose for 59 years; father of Kenneth Jr. (Patricia) and Keith; grandfather of Christopher and Julie Altemare; brother of Robert Altemare, Shirlee Kuvinka, Clifford Altemare and the late Dolores Buchak.

Harold Ferguson, 74, of Brentwood, died Sept. 15, 2007. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline; father of Deborah (Joe) Roche, Sandra (Dave) O'Black and Dena (Paul) Butler; grandfather of Matthew, Nicholas and Dana; brother of Shirley (Bill) Oberst; son of the late George and Alice Ferguson.
Mr. Ferguson was a Korean War Army veteran.

Claude Waite, 83, of Limestone, formerly of Baldwin Borough, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007.
He was the beloved husband of Dorotha for 60 years; father of Kathy (Robert) Whitmore, Nancy (Bruce) Waite Weber, Carol (Craig) Stephens and the late William (Ellen) Waite; grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Nathan, Lauren and Susan Whitmore, Forrest and Conrad Waite, Sydney Weber and Katelyn and Cameron Stephens; brother of Gladys Neubert, Dorothy Carter and the late Raymond Waite.
Mr. Waite was a former Baldwin Borough councilman and planning commissioner. He served during World War II in the 8th Air Force 452nd Bomb Group.
He was the advertising manager for the Pittsburgh Press for more than 25 years.

James Higham, 86, of Whitehall, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007.
He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara; son of the late James and Edna Marie Higham; brother-in-law of Thomas Gollings. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Mr. Higham was a longtime member of the Castle Shannon Seniors Club and the VFW 1810.
