John Ziegler
Great-grandfather
John E. "Jack" Ziegler, 79, of Pleasant Hills formerly of South Side, died April 28, 2010.
He was the husband of Dorothy (Levy) Ziegler for 58 years; lfather of Kimberly (Denny) Stadler, Sherrie (Chris) Schmotzer, Leslie (Cliff) Goodnight and John Michael Ziegler; son of the late Kenneth and Anna Ziegler; and brother of Kenneth, Ronald and Margaret.
He also is survived by 10 grandchildren and one soon to be; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home Inc., Brentwood, where a service was held.
Raymond W. "Bill" Buckman, Jr.
Pleasant Hills
Raymond W. "Bill" Buckman Jr., 79, of Pleasant Hills, died April 16, 2010.
Mr. Buckman had a distinguished professional career. His career began with Bell Aircraft. After several years, he joined Westinghouse. He worked on a proposal to NASA for a nuclear rocket that was to be used to explore the outer planets. Mr. Buckman was one of the first employees of a new division formed to build the NERVA reactors. Eleven were built and tested in Nevada.
After the NERVA project, his materials department worked on energy-related projects including wind turbines, fuel cells and solar. Mr. Buckman also continued to focus on refractory metals. The group he managed invented alloys still in use today. He also managed a laboratory at Wright Patterson Airfield Base.
After leaving Westinghouse after some 30 years of service, Mr. Buckman formed a consulting company, Refractory Metals Technologies. His name is on some two dozen patents and close to 100 papers.
The facility that he created at Westinghouse's large plant still functions as a materials business. As a small tribute to him, the library will be known as the Bill Buckman Library.
Mr. Buckman was a member of the Lion's Club, Pleasant Hills Civil Service Commission and an active member of Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church.
He was the husband of Norma C. (Caldwell) for 55 years; father of Raymond (Lori) Buckman III, Cindy (Larry) Roberts, Gregory (Tricia) Buckman and Michael (Nancy) Buckman; grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of one; and brother of Harriet Eads.
Friends were received at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant Hills. A service will be held at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Jefferson Memorial Park.

Margaret Chapman
Whitehall resident
Margaret L. "Margie" Chapman, 85, of Whitehall, died April 19, 2010.
Mrs. Chapman was a longtime member of Whitehall Presbyterian Church. She worked at the John F. Slater Funeral Home for 25 years until her retirement at age 80.
She was the wife of the late Morris E. Chapman; mother of Susan (Louis J.) Stack, Sandra L. Chapman and Scott T. (Lenora) Chapman; grandmother of Jonathan M. and Cameron S. Chapman; and sister of the late H. Claire Menzemer.

Irma M. (Donahue) Goga

Irma M. (Donahue) Goga, of Greensburg, formerly of Baldwin Borough, died Jan. 31, 2010
She was the wife of the late Ronald Goga; mother of Matt (Jennifer) and Gregg Goga; grandmother of Nick, Dan and Mike; daughter of the late Matthew and Loretta Donahue; sister of Leo (Lois) Donahue, June Donahue, Pat (Bob) Killgallon, Loretta "Boots" (Ernie) Matuszak and the late Jean McRoberts.
She also is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Dolores Walker Olnhausen, 91, of Brentwood, died Jan. 26, 2010.
She was the wife of the late Russell "Skip" Olnhausen; mother of Kathy Kuhta of Brentwood; grandmother of Sean (Lauren) Ganoe of Mt. Lebanon; great-grandmother of Maddie, Will and Grace. Mrs. Olnhausen was preceded in death by her two brothers and two sisters.

She was the wife of Michael E. Lucas; mother of Dennis Fox Jr.; grandmother of Dylan Redlinger; daughter of the late Frank Dunois and Susan Sullivan; stepdaughter of Paul Sullivan; and sister of Mark, Michael and the late David Dunois.

She was the wife of the late Tony; mother of Ronald (Mazie), Mary Frances (Mike) Babcock and the late Anthony (Fran); grandmother of Ron, Dana Tinkey, Dawn Garland, Michael and Tony. She also is survived by five great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Browne; mother of Linda Yonish (Don), Jeanne Zampini (Joe), Mike (Kim), Pat (Janet), Tom (Deb), Bill (Julie), Kathy McNaughton (Mark) and Joanne Reeves (John).
She also is survived by 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late James Filmore; mother of Ellen (Leonard) Wild-Altavilla; grandmother of James (Terry) Wild; great-grandmother of Zac, Ian and Garrett; and many nieces.
