Charles Mayo Henry
Charles Mayo Henry, 67, of Whitehall, died Dec. 22, 2010.
Mr. Henry was the founder and president of Keystone Business Machines Inc. and previously had worked in television production for Mister Rodgers Neighborhood at WQED.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Taylor Henry; his children, John Henry of Newtown, Pa., Elizabeth Henry of Cambridge, Mass., and Charles Henry Jr. of Pittsburgh; and his sister, Mary Henry Uhl of Leesburg, Fla.
Friends were received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home Inc., Brentwood. A service was held at Baldwin Community United Methodist Church, Whitehall.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
George Stoicovy
High school teacher, coach
George C. Stoicovy, 73, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Pleasant Hills, died Dec. 19, 2010.
Mr. Stoicovy was a 1959 graduate of California State College and a member and three-year letterman of the Vulcan football team. He earned his master's degree in school counseling from Duquesne University.
He was a teacher, counselor and coach in the West Jefferson Hills School District for 34 years. He also was a member and past president of the Allegheny County Counselor's Association.
He is survived by his wife, Monica (Ferrari) Stoicovy; children, Nicole (Jason) Ruscitto and Christopher (Michele) Stoicovy; grandchildren, Roman, Luciano, Alexandra, Nicholas and Sophia; a brother, Donald C. Stoicovy of Upper St. Clair; and a sister-in-law, Blanche Stoicovy of Lewistown, Pa. He also is survived by seven nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home Inc., Brentwood.

Mary Lou Wojtowicz

Mary Lou (Santa) Wojtowicz, 81, of Baldwin Borough, died Dec. 21, 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Daniel "Don" Wojtowicz; children, Luann (Glenn) Rump, Daniel, Karen (Robert) Stubenbort, Michael (Melissa), Pamela (Bill) Perfett, Paul and Thomas (Kathy); 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul and Barbara Santa, Roberta and Ronald Lehotsky; and a sister-in-law, Diane Lehotsky. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Fred Hartman

Fred W. Hartman, 82, of Baldwin Borough, died Dec. 25, 2010.
Mr. Hartman was a longtime member of Operator Engineers Local 66.
He is survived by his children, Mary Margaret Roche, Alice Wishart, Patty Marshall, Fred W. Hartman II, Gail Becker and Amy Lopata; and a sister, Anna Marie Kraus. He also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha M. Hartman; and a brother, Jake Hartman.

John J. Prelich
Whitehall
John J. Prelich, 91, of Whitehall, died Aug. 11, 2010.
Already an experienced railroad mechanic when the United States entered World War II, Mr. Prelich served as a sergeant in an Army railroad unit in what now is Iran to build and maintain the railroad supplying food and ammunition to the Russian allies from the east, as the Nazis had shut off the western route.
After the war, he worked at Penn Central Railroad. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Slovak Catholic Sokol and the National Slovak Society.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Prelich; his son, John Gregory (Kimberly) Prelich; and grandchildren, Matthew and Julia Prelich. He also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Anna Ferko Prelich; brothers, Andrew Prelich and Joseph Prelick; and sisters, Margaret Cieslak and Anna Nicolella.
There was no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Wendelin Church, Carrick. Arrangements were handled by John F. Slater Funeral Home Inc.

Mary L. "Mae" Schubert, 84, of Baldwin Borough, died Aug. 12, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, E. John Schubert, of 63 years; a son, Tom Schubert; a grandson, Tommy Schubert; and a brother, John "Pudge" Connelly of Tampa, Fla. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn "Dodie" Rogers; and a brother, Michael Connelly.

Marjorie V. Pardiny, of Whitehall, died Aug. 11, 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, George G. Pardiny; four children, Susan Pardiny Flynn and George Jr., Carl "CR" and Kenneth Pardiny; a sister, Carl VanShura; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Jane Pardiny Statewicz and Nancy Pardiny.

Thomas Sullivan
Navy veteran
Thomas W. Sullivan, 54, of Pleasant Hills, died Aug. 12, 2010.
Mr. Sullivan was a nurse at UPMC McKeesport hospital for the last four years and was a Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam era.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Kelly; a child, Schenley M. Sullivan; stepchildren, Bryan K. Kelly and Brandon A. Carter; and grandchildren, Rayne, Tyler, Brynne and Savannah.

Ruth Ann Meyers

Ruth Ann (Deily) Meyers, 88, of Ben Avon, died Aug. 14, 2010.
She is survived by a daughter, Marla Meyers Schoeber; grandchildren, Suzanne Schoeber Clemens and Robert Carl Schoeber; a brother, Harold L. Deily; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl August Meyers, whom she was married to for 54 years.
