PATRICIA M. ANDREASEN
MEYERSDALE, Pa. - Patricia M. Andreasen, 87, of RD 4, Meyersdale, died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, at her home.
Born Aug. 15, 1910, in Dublin, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Florence (Wellington) O'Shaughnessey. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan A. Andreasen, on Dec. 16, 1991.

Surviving are three sons, Michael Andreasen and wife Virginia, North San Juan, Calif., Patrick Nolan Andreasen and wife Joyce, with whom she resided, and Marcus Andreasen, Reno, Nev.; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Andreasen was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Kennells Mills.

Friends will be received at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the church on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Henry L. Crissinger officiating.

Interment will be in White Oak cemetery, RD 4, Meyersdale.

The Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, is in charge of the arrangements.

MOLLIE L. DEVORE
BURGETTSTOWN, Pa. - Mollie L. (Wilt) DeVore, 64, of 62 Spruce Lane, Burgettstown, died Tuesday, June 24, 1997, at her residence.
Born Jan. 11, 1933, at Grantsville, Md., she was a daughter of the late Truman and Cleone (Fazenbaker) Wilt. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn and Leo Wilt.

Mrs. DeVore was a member of the United Church of Christ; Logstown Historical Society; Native American Community; and American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Johnson DeVore; three daughters, Dorothy Orgovan, Chester, W.Va., Mary K. Broadwater, Barton, Md., Debra Speer, Burgettstown; a brother, Bernard Wilt, Burgettstown; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating.

Interment will be in the Bittinger cemetery, Bittinger, Md.

JUNE A. CARLHEIM
BEDFORD, Pa. - June A. Carlheim, 89, of Route 3, Bedford, died Monday, Aug. 11, 1997, at the Donahue Manor Nursing Home, Bedford.
Born June 28, 1908, in Cumberland Valley Township, she was the daughter of the late H. T. Oster and Aurora G. (Boor) Oster. She also was preceded in death by her husband George W. Carlheim, in 1977.

Mrs. Carlheim was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church and a lifelong member of the United Methodist Women and a member of the Bedford Valley Senior Citizens.

She was also the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are one son, Glenn L. Carlheim and wife Mary Jane, Centerville, Pa.; two daughters, Ella R. Manges and husband Ronald, at home, and Jane Dickerhoof and husband Howard, Cumberland, Md.; three grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Kight Funeral Home, 309-311 Decatur St., Cumberland, Md., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the Kight Funeral Home, 309-311 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Hollis officiating.

Interment will be in the Fellowship cemetery, Centerville, Pa.

LESTER L. DAY
ARTEMAS, Pa. - Lester Lee Day, 93, of Artemas, died Sunday, June 8, 1997, at Pennknoll Village, Bedford.
Born Oct. 31, 1903, in Petersburg, W.Va., he was the son of the late Wheeler and Mollie (Kimble) Day. He also was preceded in death by one son, Richard Day; two sisters, Elsie VanMeter and Ruth Coleman; and two brothers, Clarence James Day and Ervin Day.

Mr. Day was retired from the Pennsylvania State Roads.

Surviving are his wife, Daisy Day; one daughter, Shirley Taylor and husband Bill, Artemas; three sisters, Bertha Lydinger, Cumberland, Grace Coleman, Heightstown, N.J., and Goldie Roberts, Hampton, Va.; eight grandchildren, Bonnie K. Amos, Mark E. Smith, Wilma Padfield, Wannetta Amick, Richard Day Jr., Darryl Day, Barb Smith and Debbie Stallings; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Timothy L. Monn officiating.

Interment will be in the Bennett cemetery, Artemas.

AUDREY M. HOCHENDONER
BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. - Audrey M. Hochendoner of Country Meadows Nursing Home, Bridgeville, formerly of Green Tree, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 1997.
She was the wife of the late Norbert G. Hochendoner; mother of Sandra M. Athey, Laguna, Calif., and Gary W. Hochendoner, Linthicum, Md.; sister of Milton "Bud" Tritschler, Miriam Foster and Leah Schmidt. She is also survived by four grandsons.

Friends will be received at the William Slater II Funeral Service, 997 Greentree Road, Green Tree, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at the SS. Simon and Jude Church on Friday at 10 a.m.

SUSAN A. ANDREWS
BEDFORD, Pa. - Susan Ann Andrews, 37, of Bedford, died Friday, Sept. 19, 1997, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
Born Feb. 10, 1960, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late John Harold Albert Sr. and Josephine Cecelia (Cole) Albert.

Mrs. Andrews was a 1978 graduate of Frankfort High School. She had been employed as a pharmacy clerk at Wal-Mart, Bedford, and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, John "Jack" Andrews Jr.; three brothers, John H. Albert Jr., Potomac Park, Gerald S. Albert, Carpendale, W.Va., and Michael B. Albert, San Diego, Calif.; five sisters, Patricia K. Albert, Carpendale, W.Va., Cecelia M. Allman, Va., Melissa L. Albert, Colo., Sarah J. Martin, Cresaptown, Md., and Julie B. Albert, Colo.; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Andrews Sr., Ridgeley, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the George-Upchurch Funeral Home, 202 Greene St., Cumberland, Md., on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A Christian wake service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 8:45 p.m.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Cumberland, Md., on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Vernon Busch, OFM, Cap., as celebrant.

Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society, 111 S. George St., Cumberland, MD 21502 or to the Memorial Hospital Hospice Unit, 600 Memorial Avenue, Cumberland, MD 21502.

FRANKLIN A. GROVES
FOSSILVILE, Pa. - Franklin A. Groves, of Fossilville, RD 1, Buffalo Mills, died Wednesday, May 7, 1997, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Sept. 27, 1917, near Lonaconing, Md., he was a son of the late James A. and Ruth (Myers) Groves.

Mr. Groves retired from the maintenance department at Kaiser Refractories, Zihlman, Md. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church at Madley and Hyndman Lodge 589, F&AM.; On May 19, 1950, in Cumberland, he married Mildred F. Hendershot.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Thomas F. Groves and wife Polly, RD 1, Buffalo Mills; two grandchildren, Angela P. and Wayne T. Groves, RD 1, Buffalo Mills; and a brother, John R. Groves, Cumberland.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and at the church for one hour prior to services.

Services will be conducted at Christ Lutheran Church on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David L. Wright officiating.

Interment will be in Lybarger cemetery.

A Masonic funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 8 p.m.

Memorials may be sent to Christ Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, care of Mr. Jack Rizer, Hyndman, PA 15545.
