Olga Jean Formica, 73, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, in UPMC St. Margaret, Pittsburgh. Born July 23, 1927, in Indiana, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Biaggi and Maria Trepodi Formica. She was a bookkeeper with Dr. Greg and Associates and also with LaBelle Painting Co. Inc., Lawrenceville. She was a member of St. Scholastica Roman Catholic Church, Aspinwall. Survivors include a brother, Blaise C. Formica of Monroeville; and many cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave., Aspinwall. Christian Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Scholastica Roman Catholic Church, Aspinwall, with the Rev. Robert G. Duch as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, O'Hara.

Clara D. Harrington
Zelienople

Clara D. Harrington, 84, of Zelienople, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, in UPMC Passavant, McCandless Township. Born May 20, 1916, in Muddy Creek Township, she was a daughter of the late George E. and Anna Hockenberry Miller. She was Presbyterian by faith. She had resided at the Passavant Health Center in Zelienople for the past 10 years, and was very involved in many of the center's activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Regis W. Harrington Sr., on Dec. 26, 1975; three sisters ; and two brothers . She is survived by three sons , Ronald L. Harrington of Pittsburgh, Regis W. Harrington Jr. of Ross Township and David C. Harrington of Gibsonia; a brother, Harry Miller of Princeton, Pa.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. David C. Baker, pastor of Seaman Memorial Chapel at LAS Passavant Communities of Zelienople officiating. Interment will be in the Portersville Presbyterian Cemetery, Portersville.

William B. Hendricks
Country Meadows

William B. Hendricks, of Country Meadows, on Sunday, August 13, 2000. He was the beloved husband of Mary. G. Hendricks; Father of Peggy Moniot and William A. Hendricks; brother of Robert Hendricks. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL INC., 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, TUESDAY from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bethany Evangical Lutheran Church, 3104 W. Liberty Ave., Dormont. (Everyone please meet at the church). Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the church.

Louise Brucker Kocsis
North Braddock

Louise Brucker Kocsis, 77, of North Braddock, on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000. Wife of the late George Kocsis. mother of four sons , George Kocsis of Elizabeth Township, John Kocsis of North Braddock, James Kocsis of Alaska, and Donald Kocsis of Penn Hills. Sister of the late Edward Brucker. Also 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JAMES F. KUTCH FUNERAL HOME, 433 Greensburg Ave. (Route 30), East McKeesport, where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Monongahela Cemetery, North Braddock.

Stephen J. Koval
Aspinwall

Stephen J. Koval, 59, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, in Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born April 5, 1941, in Homestead, he was the son of Stephen and Elizabeth Ziolkowski Koval. Mr. Koval worked for 31 years at Westinghouse Electric Co., Monroeville. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Tronka Koval; two sons , Stephen R. Koval of Shaler and Robert A. Koval of Aspinwall; a brother, Thomas E. Koval; a sister, Mary Ann Stupar; and two grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave., Aspinwall. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Michael and All Angels Lutheran Church, 1308 Spring Garden Ave., North Side, with the Rev. Paul F. Kokenda officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indian Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, Western Pennsylvania Chapter.

Emiel F. Martino Jr.
Latrobe

Emiel F. Martino Jr., 69, of Latrobe, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Latrobe, the son of the late Emiel F. Sr. and Mary A. Skyew Martino. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe, where he served as an usher. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a state constable, retired from the State Correctional Institute in Greensburg, and was a member of the Pennsylvania State Constable Association. He was also an honorary fireman and fire policeman with the Lloydsville Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Westmoreland County Democrat Club, the Latrobe City Zoning Board, and the Lloydsville Sportsmen's Club, and was a WPIAL basketball referee and baseball umpire. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christina McKinley. Survivors include his wife, Emily J. Stoup Martino; a son, Michael A. Martino and his fiancee, Connie Terry, of Grapeville; three daughters ; Bonita Lopes and her fiance, John Denzel, of Pottstown, Sharon Miller and her husband, Keith, of Lloydsville, and Theresa Bald and her husband, Daniel, of Latrobe; two sisters , Mary Ann Piscione and her husband, Samuel, and Antoinette Martino, all of Latrobe; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church with the Rev. Thomas Lukac as celebrant. Interment St. Vincent Cemetery, Unity Township. The St. John Rosary Altar Christian Mothers will recite the rosary Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., and military services will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m., both in the funeral home.

Abigail Jane McVeigh, formerly of Penn Hills, on Friday, August 11, 2000. She was the daughter of the late James and Mary Jane Ross McVeigh, and the sister of the late Betsy Elway. She is survived by many cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in SIMONS FUNERAL HOME INC., 7720 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA, 15237, where the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment in Allegheny Cemetery.

Katherine Ann Orange, 86, of Irwin, formerly of Jeannette, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, in the Villa at St. Joseph, Baden. She was born March 17, 1914, in Manor, a daughter of the late John and Stephanie Lipinski Poplawski. Prior to retirement, she was employed as an LPN for Dr. Auriola of Fort Pierce, Fla. She was a member of the first graduating class of the Greensburg School of Practical Nursing. She held the office of president for two terms for the Greensburg division of Licensed Practical Nurses Association of Pennsylvania . She was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon, and the Catholic daughters of America. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jay" Orange; and a sister, Cecilia Toth. She is survived by her daughter, Sister Sue Ann Orange, a Sister of St. Joseph of Pittsburgh; a son, John M. Orange and his wife, Theresa Plaitano Orange, of Jeannette; two grandchildren, Erik C. Orange of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and Joan L. Daigle of Greensburg; three great-grandchildren, Anthony J. Orange, and Leah and Lara Daigle; a sister, Gertrude Weightman of California; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hempfield Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the sisters of St. Joseph Memorial Fund, 1020 State St., Baden, PA 15005.

Walter J. "Yam" Rozycki, 81, a lifelong member of the community of McClure, Bullskin Township, died Friday evening, Aug. 11, 2000, in Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. No public visitation. Walter's family extends an invitation for relatives and friends to join them Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Everson, for the celebration of his Funeral Mass. Immediately following the Mass, the Scottdale VFW Post 7781 will accord military honors in the church yard. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME INC., 417 W. Pittsburgh St., Scottdale.

Nicola A. Santilli

Nicola A. Santilli, 80, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, in his home. Born Oct. 24, 1919, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Carmen and Esther Richey Santillo. Mr. Santilli was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired steelworker with Union Steel Castings, Pittsburgh. He was a member of St. Scholastica Roman Catholic Church, Aspinwall. Survivors include his children, Esther L. Zeidler of McCandless, Gerry R. Milletary of Aspinwall, Nicholas A. Santilli of Blawnox, Edward A. Santilli of Phoenix, Ariz., and Denise M. Manzo of O'Hara; a brother, Wilford Santillo; and two sisters , Mildred Sinopoli and Margaret Schulli; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Christian Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Scholastica Roman Catholic Church, 309 Brilliant Ave., Aspinwall. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Penn Hills. Arrangements are by WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, Aspinwall.

Bertha Elizabeth Baughman Santmyer
Lilburn, Ga.

Bertha Elizabeth "Betty" Baughman Santmyer, 77, of Lilburn, Ga., died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, at her residence. She was born March 24, 1923, in Morell, Fayette County, a daughter of the late Arthur and Matilda Bachman Baughman. Betty was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Lilburn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Irvin A. Baughman, Feb. 5, 1988. Survivors include her devoted husband, Lt. Col. (USAF, Ret.) Raymond E. Santmyer, with whom she celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on Nov. 8, 1999; her loving children, Philip W. Santmyer of Lilburn, Ga., and David A. Santmyer and his wife, Janice, of Columbus, Miss.; grandchildren, Traci Willingham of San Antonio, Texas , Scott Santmyer of Brandon, Fla., Andrea, Julia and Rebecca Santmyer of Lilburn, Ga., Bonnie Bray of Macon, Miss., and Kimberly Santmyer of Columbus, Miss.; three great-grandchildren; her sister and brothers , Marie Parsons and her husband, Paul, of Suwanee, Ga., Elmer Baughman and his wife, Eleanor of Scottdale and Arthur J. Baughman and his wife, Patricia, of Munroe Falls, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews. Betty's family will receive friends in the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME INC., 417 W. Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Service will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Andrew F. Dougherty III, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Scottdale, officiating. Interment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery.
