Emily Ann and Hanna Isabell Teeters, infant twin daughters of Richard W. Teeters and Tammy I. Logan, both of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000, in Latrobe Area Hospital. They were born Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000. In addition to their parents, they are survived by a brother, Jeffrey P. of Mt. Pleasant; paternal grandmother, Glenda Carlson of Scottdale; maternal grandmother, Sylvia Logan of Trauger; Emily Ann's godparents, Richard Jr. and Stacy Logan of Trauger; Hanna Isabell's godparents, Greg and Sherry Hrimnock of Kingview; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. They were preceded in death by their maternal grandfather, Richard Logan Sr. Services and interment in the St. Paul's Reformed Cemetery were private. EUGENE G. Florence Jenny Truxel, 90, formerly of Washington Avenue, Irwin, died Wednesday evening, Aug. 9, 2000, in Copeland Oaks Retirement Center, Sebring, Ohio. Prior to retirement, she had been employed for 40 years by Railway Express in Pittsburgh as a secretary. She was a former member of Irwin Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, Joseph and Edith Ketchum Robinson, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Lahey, in 1963; her second husband, William Truxel, in 1992; a sister, Bessie May Robinson; and two brothers , Glenn and George Robinson. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Grace Coppock of Sebring, Ohio; two nieces; and a nephew. Funeral service will be held at the STARK MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 1014 E. State St., Salem, Ohio, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Visitation one hour before the service. Burial in East Carmel Cemetery, Rogers, Ohio.

Ruth Havekotte Ackman, age 98, of Pleasant Hills, on August 11, 2000. A graduate of Allegheny High School, she attended Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to 25 years of teaching in the Baldwin/ White hall School District, she taught music for three years at Rochelle School in Knoxville. She was organist and choir director for 52 years at St. Sylvester Church, Brentwood. Wife of the late Louis J. Ackman and mother of Virginia A. Zeuner, Maureen A. (Edward) Rodgers, Richard (Doris) Ackman and Douglas (Jeanne) Ackman. Also survived by 26 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends received at the JOHN F. Fiorino S. Acri, 81, died Saturday, August 12, 2000, in his Shaler home. Born Dec. 22, 1918, in Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Rose Acri. Mr. Acri was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Etna. Survivors include his wife, Minnie Perri Acri; one son, Rinaldo Acri of Shaler; one daughter, Rose Klepin of Shaler; four brothers , Michael Acri, David Acri and Mario Acri, all of Toronto, Canada, and Armando Acri of Italy; two sisters , Adelina Sirianni of Toronto, Canada and Genesa Marrone of Italy; and one grandson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Acri and one sister, Sr. Loretta Acri. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, corner of Main and Ninth Streets, Sharpsburg. James F. Cossel, 69, of Connellsville, died peacefully, after a long illness, Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Oct. 12, 1930, in Connellsville, a son of the late Stephen J. and Helen (Freed) Cossel. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School and a veteran of the
Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a steelworker for U.S. Steel. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, the Polish Club, and the VFW Post 21, all in Connellsville. James is survived by his wife of 42 years, Alberta L. (Camlin) Cossel; three children, Mrs. Linda Ulery and husband, William, of Scottdale, Mr. Mel Stewart and wife, Judy, of Ohio, and Mrs. Sherri Kappas and husband, Peter, of Freedom, Pa.; six grandchildren, Michael Ulery and wife, Sue, Deanna Ulery, Susan and David Stewart, and James and Stephen Kappas; three great-grandchildren, Amber, Michael and Kyle Ulery; a sister, Mrs. Colleen (Cossel) Wilson and husband, Charles, of McKeesport; also many nieces and nephews. Gladys Dunhoff, 81, of Latrobe, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, in the Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Phillip and Bessie (Levin) Poster. Gladys had been a co-owner of the Weiss Furniture Store in Latrobe. She was a member of the Beth Israel Synagogue, the Beth Israel Sisterhood, the Latrobe Civic Club, and was a very active volunteer for the Latrobe Area Hospital Aid Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Dunhoff, in 1995; a sister, Freda Weiss; and a brother, Leonard Poster. She is survived by her three children, David A. Dunhoff and wife, Susan, of Pittsburgh, Richard I. Dunhoff and wife, Dalia, of Unity Township, and Diane Dunhoff DeMaio and husband, Barry, of Alexandria, Va.; six grandchildren, Steven, Deidra, Adam, Hayley and Michele Dunhoff and Paul DeMaio; her brother, Milton Poster of Mt. Pleasant; and her sister, Norma Shapiro of Latrobe. V. June Fox, 90, of Greensburg and Ulysses, Pa., died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, in the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, Pa. She was born June 1, 1910, in Windber, a daughter of the late Charles Ross and Fanny Rogers Lambert. On Nov. 12, 1925, in Wellsburg, W.Va., she married Henry Jacob Fox, who predeceased her in 1980. Mrs. Fox arranged and guided senior citizen bus tours for many years. She was also a representative for Stanley Products. She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of New Stanton. She is survived by a son, Ronald H. Fox of New Stanton; a daughter, June F. Gray of Ulysses; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother and four sisters . Friends may call Friday, Aug. 11, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Benjamin R. Edith E. (Schroeder) Frank, 88, of Ross, died Saturday, August 12, 2000, in Passavant Hospital. Born April 25, 1912 in St. Cloud, Minn., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Frank. Edith was a homemaker and a volunteer for North Hills Food Bank. She is survived by four daughters , Rita Nowak of Marshall, Joan Quatchak of McCandless, Carol Puskar of Ross and Sr. Raphael O.S.B. of Ross; one son, Joseph Frank of Ross; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Donald W. "Buck" Giles, age 13, accidentally on Wednesday, August 9, 2000, of Holiday Park, Plum Boro. Born on July 9, 1987 to Donald T., Jr. and Cherie (Alcorn) Giles. Brother of Chelsea; grandson of Donald T., Sr. and Patricia (Botti) Giles and Donald and Mary Dee Alcorn. Great-grandson of James and Louise Botti and Oddie and Dorothy Thomas. Active member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. He loved dirt bikes, working with heavy equipment, fishing and was an eighth grade student at O'Block Jr. High School. Buck was an outstanding son and brother, with strong faith and strong love.
