IDA M. LONG
Funeral services were held for Ida M. (Heimbach) Long, 87, of New Hanover, who died April 17, 2002 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading, where she had been a patient.
She was the widow of Paul B. Long.
Born in New Hanover, she was a machine operator for the former Penn Stretch, Boyertown, retiring in the 1970s.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 700, Frederick, PA 19435.
Long was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Boyertown, and the Young at Heart Golden Age Club, Obelisk.
Surviving are three daughters, Joanne Gresh and Verona McCord, both of Boyertown, and Marlene Stark of Frederick.
Also a sister; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
Burial was in Limerick Garden of Memories.

Erma Mesaros Keller
Erma Mesaros Keller, 84, of Hellertown, died Thursday, June 6, 2002 at ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem.
Funeral services were held June 8.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Julia (Varga) Hari.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon, Hellertown.
She is survived by: three sons, Robert H. Mesaros of Bethlehem, Richard F. Mesaros, with whom she resided, and Robert S. Keller of Whitehall Township; one daughter, Sharon L. Strock of North Brunswick, N. J.; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

Lillian DeArmas
Lillian DeArmas, 92, of West Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Bronx, N.Y., died Saturday, June 1, 2002 in her home.
Funeral services were held June 6. Interment was in Union cemetery, Hellertown.
She was the wife of the late Phillip DeArmas.
Born in Kulpmont, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Julia (Chato) Hegyl.
She was a housewife.
She was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Hellertown.
She is survived by: two daughters, Loretta Dore, with whom she resided and Phyllis Gibbons of Westport, N. Y.; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Esther A. Stoneback
Esther A. Stoneback, 71, of Coopersburg, died Saturday, June 8, 2002 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.
Funeral services were held June 11.
She was the wife of Gerald W. Stoneback for 51 years.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Irwin and Alice (Krauss) Radermacher.
She was a secretary for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for five years.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown.
She was a member of Edward H. Ackerman Post auxiliary, Hellertown.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: one son, Lance K. of Hellertown; one brother, Irwin of Fleetwood; one sister, Dianne Morgan in Texas; four grandchildren.

Earl W. Frey
Earl W. Frey, 77, of Coopersburg, formerly of Quakertown, died Sunday. June 9, 2002 at St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital.
Funeral services were held June 12.
He was married
to Lillian M. (Reith) Frey for 55 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clarence E. and Vivian M. (Kern) Frey.
He was a truck driver for the former JB Furniture Co., Quakertown, before retiring.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Blue Church, Coopersburg.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a life member of Quakertown American Legion.
He was a member of Lower Milford Fire Company.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: two sons, Gerald E. of Zionsville and Ernie L. of Harleysville; one daughter, Darlyn D. Trauger of Zionsville; three grandchildren.

Evelyn K. Page
Evelyn K. Page, 86, of Coopersburg, formerly of Allentown and Middletown, died Aug. 10, 2002 in Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coopersburg.
She was born in Middletown to the late Roy and Frances (Metzger) Kramer.
She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Allentown.
Before retiring she was employed by Hess’s department store for 20 years.
She is survived by daughters, Phyllis P. Christman of Allentown, Cheryl E. Romig of Albrightsville; a son, Gregory Freeman of Allentown; sisters, Lucille Gwin of Mechanicsburg, Dorothea M. Cross of Loomis, CA; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Walter L. Page, Jr.
Services were held Aug. 14.

Margaret A. Giglio
Margaret A. Giglio, 74, of Hellertown, died Aug. 15, 2002 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was married
to John J. Giglio for 53 years.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Mathias and Anna (Donchex) Makos.
She was a member of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Debra Carson of Hellertown; son, John R. of Bethlehem Township; brothers, Matthew and John both of Bethlehem; sisters, Mario Castro of Bethlehem, Anne Troiani of Fountain Hill; four grandchildren.
Margaret M. Szelingowski
Margaret M. Szelingowski, 84, of Coopersburg, died Aug. 16, 2002 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Quakertown. She was the wife of the late Steve Szelingowski.
She was born in New Jersey to the late Joseph and Rosetta (Bolton) Philhower.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Manzke of Dublin, OH; brothers, sisters, seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday.

Beatrice M. Brosious
Beatrice M. Brosious, 87, of Bethlehem, died Thurs. Jan. 2, 2003, in her home. She was the wife of the late Stanley Brosious.
Born in Lower Saucon township, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ida (Strahler) Dubbs.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald and Donald, both of Bethlehem; brothers, Raymond Dubbs, of Bethlehem and Harold Dubbs, of Allentown; and six Grandchildren.
Services are private. No calling hours.

Jean M. Washburn
Jean M. Washburn, 73, of Bethlehem died Feb. 28, 2003 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, Pa.
She was the wife of Robert J. Washburn, Jr. The couple celebrated their 49th Wedding anniversary last Oct.
Mrs. Washburn was born in Allentown to the late Edwin C. and Miriam (Focht) Jacoby.
She was employed by The Wood Company, Food Services Management at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, for 17 years before retiring in 1991.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown, where she formerly sang in the choir.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, David M.; and one grandson. She was predeceased by two sons, Edwin C. and Robert J. Washburn, III.
Funeral services were held Mar. 5, Interment was in Grandview cemetery, Allentown, Pa.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
