Alexis I. Mauser
Alexis I. Mauser, one month, seven days old, of Berrysburg, died Monday, May 19, 2003, at the Harrisburg Hospital Neonatal ICU, Harrisburg.
She was the daughter of Herbert D. and Trisha J. Hoffman Mauser of Berrysburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by paternal grandparents, Albert G. and Audrey M. Chubb Mauser of Berrysburg; maternal grandparents, Dennis G. and Bonita L. Starr Hoffman of Berrysburg; maternal great-grandparents, Thomas and Jean Hoffman Enders of Halifax, and Fredrick Starr of Berrysburg; paternal uncles, Albert G. Mauser, Jr., and Karl J. Mauser, both of Berrysburg, Bruce L. Mauser of Delmar, DE, William L. Mauser and James A. Mauser, both of Millersburg; paternal aunt, Barbara A. Mauser of Hummelstown; maternal aunts, Traci E. Wiest and Tandee E. Hoffman, both of Berrysburg.
Services will be held at Peace U.C.C., Berrysburg on Thursday, May 22, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Union cemetery, Pillow. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 10 -11 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to NICU Pinnacle Health, 101 South Front Street, Harrisburg, 17111.
Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc., Elizabethville is in charge of the arrangements.

William Maurer
William H. Maurer, 55, of Ashland, formerly of RR1 Pitman and Philadelphia, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Locust Gap, October 9, 1947, he was a son of the late Harold and Chesta Seiler Maurer. He attended Tri-Valley High School.
He had been employed as a laborer for Merrill Lumber Co., Philadelphia.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Louise Houser, in 1995, and Marilyn J. Hummel, in 1999.
Surviving are a daughter, Cindy N. Maurer of Jenkintown; five sisters, Carolann Laughlin of Locust Gap, Helen Sweigart of Hamburg, Jean Wallace of Ashland, Catherine Duff of Lexington, Ky., and Joan Ribarchik of Bristol; three brothers, Dale R. of West Reading, James C. of Hershey, and Nevin A. of Halifax; a grandson; nieces and nephews.
Services were held Friday, May 16, from Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, RR1 Klingerstown, with the Rev. John Clough officiating. Interment was in Zion Evangelical Congregational cemetery, RR1 Pitman.
In order to defray funeral expenses, contributions may be made to the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, RR1, Box 128-A, Klingerstown, 17941.

Amos Kutz
Amos L. Kutz, 76, of Pine Grove, died Friday, May 16, 2003, at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
Born in Washington Township, July 8, 1926, he was a son of the late Raymond and Esther Zerbe Kutz.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served with Co. E. 19th Infantry Regiment. He served in the Phillipines and Japan and received a Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star and Army Occupation Medal for Japan.
He was a self-employed farmer and had been employed in the transportation department of Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville.
He was a member of Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Pine Grove, and attended God's Missionary Church, Lebanon.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Martha Wolfe; five sons, Larry of Oley, the Rev. Mark of Lebanon, the Rev. Amos L. Jr. of Christiansburg, Va., and Luke and John S., both of Pine Grove; two daughters, Nancy Kocher of Lebanon, and Anna Mae Wenger of Hamburg; four brothers, Samuel, Laben, John and David, all of Pine Grove; two sisters, Mary E. Mease of Tremont, and Leah Rutter of Jonestown; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, in God's Missionary Church. The Rev. Barry Arnold and Rev. Dwight Rine will officiate. Interment will be in Schuylkill Church of the Brethren cemetery, Pine Grove. H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara Hirsch
Barbara A. Hirsch, age 70, of Lykens, died Saturday, May 17, 2003, at Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was a 1950 graduate of the former Lykens High School and a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Hirsch, who died June 11, 2000.
Surviving are two sons, Jack Hirsch of Hummelstown, and Michael Hirsch of Elizabethville; two daughters, Jeanne Fox of Hummelstown, and Joann Hood of Middletown; a brother, Thomas Yergo of Lykens; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, at her church, 732 E. Main Street, with Father Robert S. Panza as celebrant. Interment will be in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Wednesday, at the John R. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 732 E. Main Street, Lykens, PA 17048. John R. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens, is handling arrangements.

Lester F. Woll
Lester F. Woll, 74, of Tremont, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
Born in Tremont, November 14, 1929, he was a son of the late Ferdinand and Vertie Shomper Woll.
He was a Navy veteran serving from 1946 to 1948.
He was retired from the former Kaiser Aluminum, Port Carbon.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont, and Brennan Keip American Legion Post 384, Tremont.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Nelson; and two sisters, Betty Berry and Ilene Womer.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, the former Florence Cunningham; a daughter, Linda Boltz of Tremont; two sons, Lester B. of Mechanicsburg, and Denis of Tremont; five sisters, Mary Tyson of Mechanicsburg, Vertie Harner and Lois Murphy, both of Tremont, Doris Miller of Stevens, and Elsie of Delaware; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorial service were held Friday, May 9, from Minnig-Berger Funeral Home, Tremont. The Rev. Carl Adams will officiate. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National cemetery, Annville.

Linda D. Weigley
Linda D. Weigley, 51, of York, died Monday, May 5, 2003, at York Hospital.
Born in Line Mountain, January 4, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Morgan Klinger.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving are her companion, Michael Ramico, with whom she resided; two daughters, Michelle Keiser, Ohio, and Melissa Shafer, Kentucky; a son, Joseph Weigley, Schuylkill Haven; three brothers, Marlin Klinger, Tower City, Ray Klinger, Dillsburg, and Robert Klinger, Bernville; two sisters, Shirley Murray, Millersburg, and Lois Dunkle, Harrisburg; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Donaldson cemetery. Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City, was in charge of arrangements.

Elvira I. Wagner
Elvira I. Wagner, 92, of Pine Grove, died Sunday, May 4, 2003.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 8, from the H.L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove. Interment was in the Suedberg Church of God cemetery, Pine Grove.
Memorials donations may be made to the Elvira I. Wagner Memorial Fund, Suedberg Church of God, c/o John P. Felty, 708 Suedberg Road, Pine Grove, PA 17963. H.L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, was in charge of arrangements.

Doris M. Snyder
Doris M. Snyder, 70, of Halifax, died Friday, May 2, 2003.
Born in Upper Paxton Twp., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Helen Fogel Jury.
Surviving are her husband, Wesley Snyder; a son, Steve Neubold of Tower City; two daughters, Linda Lehman and Elizabeth Weaver both of Millersburg; a brother, Earl Jury of Gratz; a sister, Miriam Shaffer of Millersburg; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandsons, .
Services were held on Tuesday, May 6, at Hoover Funeral Home, Millersburg. Interment was in David's Church cemetery, Killinger. Hoover Funeral Home, Millersburg, was in charge of arrangements.

Lillian E. Sitlinger
Lillian E. Sitlinger, 76, of Lykens, died Monday, May 5, 2003, in Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg.
Born December 14, 1926, in Gratz, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Luma Hartman Bellis.
She was a member of Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz, and an acting member of The Willing Workers Class of her church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald 'Pete' Sitlinger.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Robert A. Sitlinger; two sons, Robert 'Sam' Sitlinger of Herndon, Richard 'Sitch' Sitlinger of Fountain; two daughters, Susan Johns and JoAnn Hoover, both of Elizabethville; nine sisters, Hilda Collier of Millersburg, Mabel Weida of Elizabethville, Esther Shaffner of Dalmatia, Dorothy Wiest of Halifax, Mary Bellis and Marion Bellis, both of Tampa, FL, June Messner, Betty Heiser and Donna Koppenhaver, all of Millersburg; four brothers, Lloyd Bellis of Tampa, FL, Blair Bellis of Newport, Robert and Mark Bellis, both of Millersburg; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at Simeon United Lutheran Church on Friday, May 9, with Rev. Barry Ridge, officiating.

Raymond S. Sidella
Raymond S. Sidella, 57, of Pine Grove, died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at Lebanon VA Medical Center.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Steve and Lorraine E. Corby Sidella, Temple. He was a 1964 graduate of Muhlenberg Township High School.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was last employed as a truck driver.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He received the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Kay Bensinger, who died March 24.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sons, Raymond Jr. of Auburn, and Stephen of Myerstown; a step-daughter, Kelly Harper of San Antonio, Texas; a grandson; and three step-grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors were held Monday, May 12, at Indiantown Gap National cemetery, Annville, with the Rev. Janet E. Lewis officiating. Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, was in charge of arrangements.
