Margaret A. Noll
Margaret A. Noll, 96, of Millersburg, died Friday, September 12, 2003, in Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg.
Born in Millersburg, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Kathryn Foltz Haine.
She was retired from the former Riegle Shirt Factory in Millersburg. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Millersburg and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Noll.
Surviving are a son, Robert E. of Elkton, MD; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Tuesday, September 16, at Hoover Funeral Home, Elizabethville. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery Mausoleum, Millersburg.

Stanley E. Boltz
Stanley E. Boltz, 51, Tremont, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003, at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lebanon County, Oct. 7, 1951, he was a son of Maggie Bohr Boltz, Jonestown, and the late Ralph Boltz.
He was employed at Specter Manufacturing Co., Saint Clair.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 31 years, the former Linda Woll; two sons, David, Hegins, and Adam, Bristol; four sisters, Lorraine Brown, Pine Grove, Nancy Rowe, Jonestown, Miriam Myler, Mesa, Ariz., and Viola Purcell, Rehrersburg; three brothers, George and Clayton, both of Jonestown, and Allen, Lebanon; two grandchildren.
Memorial service were held Thursday, Sept. 4, at St. John's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Carl Adams officiated. Private interment was in St. John's Lutheran cemetery, Tremont. Minnig-Berger Funeral Home, Tremont, was in charge of arrangements.
Mildred K. Bowerman
Mildred K. Bowerman, 94, of Williamstown, formerly of Wiconisco, died Saturday, September 6, 2003, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born in Wiconisco, July 21, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ellen Zimmerman Koppenhaver.
She was a retired employee of the former Lebro Manufacturing Co., Lykens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard A., who died January 23, 1958.
Surviving is a daughter, Shirley E. Challenger, Williamstown.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from John R. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens. The Rev. Elizabeth Whitehead will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary United Methodist cemetery, Wiconisco.

Ryan W. Collins
Ryan W. Collins, 18, Pine Grove, died September 5, 2003, in Pine Grove Township.
Born in Lebanon, September 20, 1984, he was a son of Robert and Lola Wolfe Collins of Pine Grove. He was a 2003 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
He was a student at Penn State Schuylkill, Schuylkill Haven.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, and coached youth soccer in Pine Grove.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Megan Collins of Pine Grove; maternal grandmother, Patsy Wolfe of Pine Grove; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Dr. Richard Schoenleber will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery, Pine Grove. H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
Catherine A. Howard
Catherine A. Howard, 68, of Millersburg, died Saturday, August 30, 2003 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late John and Dorothy Frederick Mowery. She was a 1953 graduate of Hubley High School.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Killinger.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Mace.
Surviving are her husband, Donald W.; three sons, Douglas, Scott and Edward, all of Millersburg; two brothers, Earl Mowery, Halifax, and Roy Mowery, Huntingdon; a grandson, Brandon Tyler Miller.
Services were held Wednesday, September 3, from Hoover Funeral Homes Inc., Elizabethville.
Eileen M. Everett
Eileen Mary Everett, 67, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Hegins, died Saturday, September 6, 2003, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.
Born in Hegins, December 2, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Ressler Bossler. She was a 1953 graduate of the former Hegins Twp. High School.
She was a member of the Southside United Methodist Church, Jacksonville, FL, and a former member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins.
Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Earl R. Everett; a son, Perry Koppenhaver of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter Deborah Wright of Bradenton, FL; two step-sons, Earl R. Everett, Jr., of Deerfield Beach, Fl, and Frank A. Everett of St. Augustine, FL; two brothers, Stewart Bossler of Catasauqua, and Jerry Stiely of Hegins; a sister, Lessie Dunkle of Orange Park, FL; and two grandchildren.
Religious services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 12, at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. Claude Schach officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Forest Hills cemetery, Philadelphia.

Eva B. Gibson
Eva B. Gibson, 101, formerly of Pine Grove, died Sunday, September 7, 2003, at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont.
Born in Orwin, Sept. 12, 1901, she was a daughter of the late Ulysses and Mary Ann Heberling Brown.
She had been employed as a seamstress, retiring from the former Fox-Knapp Manufacturing, Pine Grove. She was a member of the Suedberg Church of God, Suedberg, and had been a member of the Ladies Bible Class. She was also a member of the Amalgamated Cotton Garment Allied Industries Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C., in April 1970; a granddaughter, Dianne Gibson, a great-great-grandson, Brett Alan Gibson; 11 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are a son, Lester H. Gibson, Pine Grove; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 12, from the H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with the Rev. Terrence Jansma officiating. Interment will be in Suedberg Church of God cemetery, Pine Grove. H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, is handling arrangements.

June K. Gough, 78, of Halifax, died Saturday, August 30, 2003, at Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg.
She was the widow of Edward P. Gough.
Surviving are 1 daughter, Tammy Fuhrman; two grandchildren, Michelle Enders and Scott Fuhrman; a great-grandchild, Alex Burrows; and two brothers, Clayton and William Smith.

Roger L. Heim
Roger L. Heim, 62, Tower City, died Sunday, August 31, 2003 at home.
Born in Orwin, April 26, 1941, he was a son of the late John and Roasa Tschopp Heim.
He was employed at Dayton-Richmond Concrete, Tremont.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Ronald; a half sister, Eva Miler; a half brother, Gene Heim.
Surviving are three brothers, Richard L. and Russell H., both of Tower City, and Robert I., Virginia; nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 3, from the Chapel of Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City. The Rev. Edward S. Gobrecht officiated. Interment was in St. Peter's cemetery, Orwin.
Doris J. Keiter
Doris J. Keiter, 77, Tower City, died Friday, September 5, 2003, at home.
Born in Lykens, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Eva Null Welker.
She was a retired seamstress, having worked at B&R; Apparel, Wiconisco.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and its ladies guild, and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in the Tower City area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert W. Sr., who died in 1997.
Surviving are two sons, Delbert W. Jr. and Deron A., both of Florida; a daughter, Denice M. Edge of Florida; three brothers, Robert Welker of North Carolina, Paul Welker of Williamstown, and James Welker of Lykens; five sisters, Betty Kreiser, Marjorie Hoover and Irene Koons, all of Lykens, Helen Hoover of Halifax, and Carole Shiley of Kentucky; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 9, at Trinity United Church of Christ, Tower City, with the Rev. Edward S. Gobrecht officiating. Interment was in Indiantown Gap National cemetery, Annville. Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City, was in charge of arrangements.
Ruth L. Lubold
Ruth L. Lubold, 72, of Halifax, died Friday September 5, 2003, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born in Williamstown she was a daughter of the late Howard and Eva Watkeys Adams, Sr.
She was a member of Halifax U.M. Church.
Surviving are her husband Blair J. Lubold; two daughters Debbie Hess of Halifax and Dawn Dove of Palmyra; a brother Howard Adams, Jr. of Williamstown; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Monday September 8, at Halifax U.M. Church.

Howard L. Miller
Howard Lester Miller, 93, of Port Orange, FL, formerly of Millersburg, died Sunday, September 7, 2003, at Daytona Beach Health and Rehab Center, Daytona Beach, FL.
He was the owner of Miller's Single Trigger Manufacturing Company until 2000; was a member of the Pikeville Sportsman Association; the Straustown Gun Club; and the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Millersburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Zimmerman Miller.
Surviving are a daughter, Pamela Miller of Port Orange, FL; two grandchildren, Lori Rothermel of Reading, and Terry Rothermel of Robisonia; a brother, Delbert Miller of Port Orange, FL; five sisters, Betty Brosius of Millersburg, Phyllis Barry of Elizabethville, Shirley Nye of Lykens, Helen Smith of Doylestown, and Hazel Shidler of Oklahoma City, OK.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
