Sister of Julia Churches of Washington County, Henry Kazmierski of Atlanta, Ga., and the late Albert. Also 25 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mary R. Fedele, 87, a resident of John the XXIII Home in Hermitage, formerly of Greensburg, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, in the Sharon Regional Health System, Sharon. She was born March 8, 1913, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Nicoletta DeMarino Nicastro. She was a beautician, and the owner and operator of Marie's Beauty Salon in Greensburg for 40 years. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and its Rosary Confraternity, and the Catholic daughters of the Americas Court Seton 306. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Fedele; a brother, Carmen Nicastro; and a sister, Albina Ciarimboli. Surviving relatives include a son, Dennis Fedele and wife, Madeline, of Warren, Ohio; a daughter, Jane Hayes and husband, Frank, of Traverse City, Mich.; five grandchildren, Dennis Jr., John, Andrew, Andy and Jessica; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gertrude F. Gelik, 75, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, in Forbes Hospice, Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Frances Wojciechowski. Mrs. Gelik was a member of St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, where she served as a eucharistic minister. She was a member of the "Center" in Sharpsburg. She was raised from infancy by the late Jane and Joseph Treder. Survivors include three sons , Robert M. Gelik of Peckville, Raymond A. Gelik of Shaler and Roger B. Gelik of West View; two sisters , Victoria Ramski of Kansas and Cecelia Gazica of Pittsburgh; a brother, Bernard Wojciechowski of Sharpsburg; and seven grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Gelik; two sisters , Agnes Kims and Sophia Upval; and a brother, Anthony Wallace. Virginia A. Boles Guardino died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000. Mrs. Guardino was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Pentagon. She was a member of St. Mary of Assumption Church in Glenshaw. Survivors include her husband, Dominic D. Guardino; five daughters , Linda L. Guardino of Irwin, Joanne Cricks of Sarver, Donna Jean Kowach and Nancy Jean Regan, both of Lawrenceville, and Anna Marie Mayhew; two sons , Daniel J. Guardino of Sharpsburg and Thomas A. Guardino of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters , Mary Lou Colledge and Dorothy Sabo, both of Cheswick; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters , Corrine Oblich and Geraldine Unferdorfer; and a brother, Harry E. Boles. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday in FRANK R. Rebekah A. Marsh Guest, 96, of Fourth Avenue, Scottdale, passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 5, 2000, at her residence. Rebekah was born Sept. 11, 1903, in East Huntingdon Township, a daughter of the late John R. and Minnie Etta Mae Graft Marsh, who passed away in 1929 and 1912, respectively. Rebekah was a loving grandmother to her family, and a member of the Everson VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Years ago, she was employed as a seamstress by the former U.S. Casket Co. in Scottdale. She was the last surviving member of the Marsh family. Rebekah is survived by her seven grandchildren, Rebekah Knopp and husband, John, of Southwest, Richard E. Eberhart Jr. and wife, Roberta, of Dunbar, Betsy Weaver and husband, Roy, of Elyria, Ohio, Michael Eberhart of Scottdale, Brett Eberhart and wife, Sara, of Pleasant Unity, Butch Lowery of Baltimore, Md., and Gary Lowery of Kent Island, Md.; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Rebekah was preceded in death by her husband, William Guest, in 1966; her two daughters , Zelma Lowery, on May 3, 1999, and Nancy Jane Guest, on Jan. 20, 1996; her great-grandson, Richard E. Eberhart III, on July 5, 1976; her stepmother who raised her, Edith M. Wells in 1988; and her two brothers , William and George Marsh. Family and friends will be received at the ROBERT B. Dorothy J. "Dottie" Hank, 75, of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, June 12, 1925, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kattera Soforic. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Westmoreland Manor as an LPN. She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Joe "Bucky" Soforic; and a sister, Irene "Rene" Kammerer. She is survived by a daughter, Connie M. and husband, Blue Zimmerman; three grandchildren, Craig and wife, Sheri, Scott and wife, Amy, and Jason Zimmerman; and three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Max and Ian, all of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters , Marie Larko and husband, John, of Indiana, Pa., and Emily Tartal and husband, Ed, of Lincoln Park, Mich.; a brother, Joseph "Bud" Soforic and wife, Audrey, of Mt. She was the wife of the late, Herbert Harman; mother of Christie Souders of Philadelphia and Herbert (Bert) Harman of Munhall; sister of Margaret Packard of Lincoln Place; and grandmother of Juston Souders. William H. Johns, 80, of Wilsonville, Ore., formerly of Miami, Fla., and Greensburg, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at his home. He was born April 4, 1920, in Greensburg, a son of the late William F. and Clara L. Nowoski Johns. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He had attended the Wilsonville United Methodist Church. Prior to retirement, he had worked as an electronics service clerk for the E.F. Johnson Co., Miami. William is survived by his wife, Mary E. "Libby" Mitchell Johns; a son, William S. Johns and his wife, Amy, of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Bonnie Sawyer and her husband, Kyle, of Wilsonville, Ore.; two brothers , Ernest Johns of Greensburg and Edgar "Eddie" Johns of Broken Arrow, Okla.; four sisters , Betty Bush of Lorain, Frances Fleisher of Youngwood, Elsie Johns of Bovard and Mary Jane Masilli of Greensburg; and five grandchildren.
