Garnet J. Linderman, 79, of Wind Ridge, formerly of South Connellsville, died Sunday, December 14, 2003, in her home.
She was born March 3, 1924, in Connellsville, a daughter of Donald A. and Naomi V. Lytle Slanders.
Mrs. Linderman had lived since 2000 in Wind Ridge, where she attended Nebo United Methodist Church.
Prior to retirement, she worked as a carton maker for Anchor Hocking Glass Plant in South Connellsville.
Her husband, James R. Linderman, died October 4, 2000.
Surviving are a son, Calvin Linderman of Crucible; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Lipsanski of Harrisburg and Regina Clark of Uniontown.

Janina Czyzewski, 80, of Carmichaels, died at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2003, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born July 8, 1923, in Dublany, Poland, a daughter of Frank and Maria Szramiak Szemelak.
Mrs. Czyzewski was a member of St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church in Carmichaels.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing.
On February 18, 1948, she married Antoni Czyzewski, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Mario Czyzewski of Carmichaels and Edward Czyzewski of Waynesburg; six grandchildren, William, Nick, AshLee, Lyndee and Sarah Czyzewski and Kristi White; a great-grandchild; three sisters, Stella, Valerie and Laura, all of Poland; and a brother, Leo Szemelak of Chicago, Ill.
David C. Palmer
1971 Washington County Sports Hall of Fame inductee
David C. Palmer, 67, of Clarksville, died Monday, December 15, 2003, in Washington Hospital.
He was born August 20, 1936, in Vestaburg, a son of David and Frances Fowler Palmer.
Mr. Palmer worked for Industrial First in Garfield Heights, Ohio, Shuman Trucking in Virginia and M&T Escort.
In 1955, he played with the New York Yankees minor league team and coached an American Legion team in Mentor, Ohio.
Mr. Palmer was inducted to Washington County Sports Hall of Fame in 1971.
He made his home with his fiance, Mary Hager of Clarksville.
Surviving are three sons, David Wayne, Trevor Scott and Duncan Shawn, all of Mentor; two daughters, Maura Dee and Moya Lee, both of Florida; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Barry Palmer of Connellsville; two sisters, Marlene Giardini of Mentor and Pam Patterson of Waynesburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Arthur Palmer.
Delmas Lee Stout

Delmas Lee Stout, 54, of Mt. Morris R.D.1, died unexpectedly at 1:13 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2003, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va.
He was born January 26, 1949, in Dunkard Township, Greene County, a son of the late Cleave Blaine and Arlene Faye Sponaugle Stout.
Mr. Stout was a resident of Dunkard Township his entire life and was employed by Swanson Plating Co. in Morgantown.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, helping others and spending time with his family.
Mr. Stout was a member of the Greene County Chapter of ABATE and was a donor for the Locks of Love Program.
Surviving are his former wife, Brenda Hartman of Charlotte, N.C.; two sons, Delmas L. Stout Jr. of Charlotte and Dennis J. Stout of Mt. Morris; a brother, Dennis B. Stout of Mt. Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
