Charles Caulson, Dunmore, Dies After Brief Illness
Charles G Caulson, 214 N Apple Street, Dunmore, died yesterday morning in Hahnemann Hospital after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Charles Caulson and had lived in Dunmore all of his life. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Caulson had been employed for many years by the Scranton Spring Brook Water Co. Mr. Caulson was a member of St. Mary's Church, Dunmore, and its Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Mary Burke; three daughters, Sister Laetitia, stationed at Mount Holy, NJ; Sister Annchen, stationed in Pittston; and Mrs. Eugene McHale, Dunmore; four sons, Brother Ronan, CP, Jamaica, Long Island; John, this city; and Thomas and Frank, Dunmore; a sister, Miss Margaret Caulson, Dunmore; and twelve grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted from the O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge St, Dunmore, Monday, with mass at 9:30 in St. Mary's Church. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery

Ruth M. Gallagher, 63, of 1029 Diamond Ave, died Friday morning at home. She was the widow of John A Gallagher, who died 4 Dec 1980. Born in Lehigh Twp, Wayne county, daughter of Mary Dewald, Scranton, and the late Stanley Heater, she was retired after being employed for over 30 years with the former Grass-Grossinger Company of Scranton. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Wood Street.
Surviving are two sons, John J, Throop, and Daniel, Lake Ariel; a daughter, Susan Keisling, Scranton; three sisters, Lorraine Marsala & Alberta Kizer, Scranton, and Gloria Jean Gilbride, Vestal, NY; three brothers, Albert and George, Scranton, and Donald, Apache, OK; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Heater, and a sister, Mary Jane Eastman.
The funeral will be Monday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, 436 Cedar Ave, with Mass at 9:00 am in St. Anthony's Church, Wood Street. Interment , St. Joseph's Cemetery, Scranton.

Anne R. Hennigan, 2433 S Garnett St., Philadelphia, died Tuesday night at home after an illness.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Mary Corish Hennigan, Philadelphia, and the late Thomas Hennigan, she was employed as a supervisor for Conrail, Philadelphia.
Also surviving are three brothers, Thomas, Patrick, and Jerry, all of Philadelphia, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Smurl, Massechusetts; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Friday with mass at 9:00 am in the Holy Rosary Church. Interment Cathedral Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crozer-Chester Medical Center Hospice Program, Upland, PA. Arrangements, the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Carbondale.

Katharine G. "Kit" Hennigan, 1505 Madison Ave, Dunmore, died Wednesday at home. She was the widow of John J Hennigan who died 26 Oct 1967.
Born in Pittston, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Wegge Gillespie, she was a graduate of Marywood Seminary and College. Prior to retirement, she was a teacher in the Scranton School District for many years. She was a former member of St. Clare's Church and a member of the Marywood Alumnae Association.
Surviving are a daughter, Kay O'Donnell of Dunmore; a twin sister, Grace G. Hall, of Paupack; 4 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank.
The funeral will be Sat from the Albert P O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge St., Dunmore, with mass at 10:30 at St. Mary's of Mt Carmel. Interment Cathedral Cemetery.

Miss Margaret Caulson, 1205 E Drinker St., Dunmore, died yesterday morning at the Lackawanna Co Institution District Convalescent Home, Ransom, after a brief illness. Miss Caulson, a lifelong resident of Dunmore, was a member of St. Mary of Mt Carmel, Dunmore, and its societies.
Surviving are three nieces, Sister Laetitia, St. Alphonsus Convent, New York City; Sister Annchen, Most Holy Rosary Convent, Syracuse, NY; and Mrs. Eugene McHale, this city; four nephews, John Caulson, this city; Brother Ronan, CP, Holy Cross Seminary, Dunkirk, NY; and Frank and Thomas, Dunmore.

Nancie J. Keisling, Moscow, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening in Moses Tailor Hospital. Her husband, Woodrow W. Keisling, died 24 Feb 1986.
Born in Spring Brook Twp, daughter of the late Michael & Catherine Repella Hrywnak, she was a life long resident of the Moscow area and a member of Gospel Hall, South Scranton. She was employed for the past 22 yrs by Angelica Healthcare Group.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth R., of Princeton, NJ; two daughters, Nancie Karen Renaud, Albia, Iowa; and Kathleen Keisling, Moscow; five sisters, Olga Balleo, Hartford CT; Annie Garelli, Newington, CT; Mary Ropiak, Throop; Judy Millard, Scranton; and Millie Wladlarski, Monticell, NY; two brothers, Paul and Harold, both of Springbrook; three granddaughters; four grandsons; and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a son, Nelson W, who died in 1991, and two brothers, John and Wesley.
The funeral will be Saturday at 2pm from the Miller Bear Funeral Home. Internment Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

Woodrow W. Keisling, RD 3 Moscow, died Monday in Community Medical Center after an illness. His widow is the former Nancie J. Hrywnak.
Born in Scranton, son of the late George W and Gertrude Brooks Keisling, he was a member of the Gospal Hall, South Scranton. He was a former manager of quality control and personnel for the Plastics Division of Moxness Products, Inc, Racine WI.
Also surving are two sons, Nelson W, Racine, WI, and Kenneth R, Cheshire, CT; two daughters, Mrs. Nancie Karen Renaud, Albia, IA, and Miss Kathleen J, at home; two brothers, Delbert, Clarks Summit, and Harold, Lake Ariel; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Rochon, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11 am from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, 436 Cedar Ave, with internment in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bible Truth Publishers, PO Box 649, Addison, IL.

Mary Caulson, North End, Dies
Mrs. Mary Caulson, 2113 Wayne Ave, died at State Hospital Friday after a brief illness. She is the mother of a brother in the Passionist Order and two Immaculate Heart of Mary nuns. She was a lifelong resident of Dunmore, daughter of the late John and Catherine Burke. Her husband, Charles, died in 1949. She was a member of St. Mary of Mt Carmel, Dunmore, and its Altar and Rosary Society and the convent guild.
She is survived by four sons, Brother Ronan, CP, Holy Cross Seminary, Dunkirk, NY; John, Niagra Falls, NY; and Frank and Thomas, Dunmore; three daughters, Sister Mary Laetitia, Marywood Motherhouse; Sister Mary Annchen, St. Rita's Convent, Dundalk, MD; and Mrs. Eugene McHale, with whom she resided; three sisters, Mrs. William Henning, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Michael Conway, Dunmore; and Mrs. Michael McCarthy, NJ; 20 grandchildren, one of whom is Sister Mary Ronan, IHM; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be from the Albert P. O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge St., Dunmore, at a time to be announced.

Mrs. Bonita G. Gardner, 401 Ward St., Dunmore, died Sunday afternoon in Moses Taylor Hospital. She was the wife of Harold J. Gardner. Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Daniel and Della Larkin McClymer, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School and Lackawanna Business College and was formerly employed by the Department of Public Assistance. She was a member of St. Mary of Mt Carmel Church, Dunmore, and its Women's Guild; charter member of Scranton Lodge of Elk Ladies Auxiliary; Elmhurst Country Club and its Ladies Bowling League.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Coyne, Dunmore; several nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews.
The funeral will be Wednesday from the Albert P. O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 at St. Mary's of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment , Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore.
