Mrs. Mary J. Case
Mrs. Mary J. Case, 95, formerly of Catasauqua and Pen Argyl, died Sunday in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. She was the widow of Ellsworth Case.
She was employed by the former Hilda Bet Blouse Company, Pen Argyl, before retiring.
Born in Pen Argyl, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Weidman) Bonney.
She was a member of Mackey Memorial Baptist Church, Bangor, and a former member of the Shutanka Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Pen Argyl.
Surviving are a son Carl of Slatington; seven grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Elma Weber.
Wilbur H. Moyer
Wilbur H. Moyer, 82, died Tuesday in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. He was the husband of the late Ethel E. (Everett) Moyer.
He was employed by Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown, for 20 years before retiring in 1980 as a shop engineer.
Born in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, he was a son of the late Harry J. and Ada (Ling) Moyer.
He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, South Whitehall Township.
Surviving are three sons, Wilbur H. Jr. of Gresham, Ore., Dwight R. of Slatington and Bruce A. of Wescosville; two grandchildren and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Helen A. Schickram
Mrs. Helen A. Schickram, 71, of 326 Rowe St., Tamaqua, died Tuesday in Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the widow of Herbert William Schickram.
Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Agnes (Rimbach) Schoener.
Mrs. Schickram was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Tamaqua, and a 1943 graduate of Tamaqua High School.
She is survived by three sons, John H. of Tamaqua R2, Wayne H. of Tamaqua and Craig W. of Pottsville; one daughter, Debra R., wife of David Radishofski of Hazleton; and six grandchildren.
The E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, is in charge of arrangements.
Roderick Kelly
Roderick Kelly, 63, of 49 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe, died Wednesday in the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton.
He was a chief steward with the National Maritime and the Merchant Marines, having sailed all of the oceans of the world before retiring.
Born in Gloversville, N.Y., he was a son of the late Arthur Kelly and Josephine (McKinnon) Kelly McThige.
He was an Army veteran, having been stationed in Delaware as a radar operator.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving is a brother William of Albrightsville.

David A. Ryan
David A. Ryan, 34, of 406 Third St., Weatherly, died Tuesday morning in his home. He was the husband of Kelly (Green) Ryan.
He was a dietary/utility worker at Weatherwood, the Carbon County Home for the Aged, Weatherly.
Born in Highland Park, Mich., he was a son of Mrs. Rosalie (Maggio) Weigand of Weatherly R.2, and the late Robert D. Ryan.
A 1982 graduate of Weatherly High School, the deceased was a member of the Wrecker football team.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Weatherly, and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
Surviving in addition to his mother and widow are two sons, Brandon and Mathew, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Alan (Deborah) Wesner of Weatherly and Mrs. Alfred (Janette) Bruzgulis of White Haven; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert J., and his stepfather, Wayne Weigand, who both died in 1991.
Margaret Rose Yeager
Margaret Rose Yeager, 82, widow of Raymond C. Yeager, and an ex-Lehighton resident, deid Dec. 28 in Santee, Ca.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Stehling) Hager.
Funeral services were Jan. 2 in Santee, and burial was in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Ca.
LeRoy M. Siegfried
LeRoy M. Siegfried, 71, of Catasauqua, died Wednesday in the Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Evelyn M. (Robertson) Siegfried. They observed their 49th wedding anniversary last March.
He worked in drafting services for Lehigh Valley Technical Associates, Whitehall Township, and previously had been employed in the drafting department of the Fuller Company, Catasauqua plant, for three years, and as a structural draftsman for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 20 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harold and Alice (Gangway) Siegfried.
He was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship, Allentown, where he was an elder for many years.
Siegfried was an Army veteran of World War II, having served with the 17th and 82nd Airborne paratroopers.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son Jeffrey of Danielsville; five daughters, Karen Roeder of Allentown and Audrey, Patricia, Christina and Donna, wife of David Ogden, all of Catasauqua; a brother Arnold of Coopersburg; three sisters, Delores Clouse and Fern, wife of Richard Bodey, both of Allentown, and LaMae, wife of Eugene Iasello of Bethlehem; and four grandchildren.
Rev. Donald L. Brown
The Rev. Donald L. Brown, 65, of Allentown, former pastor of Lutheran churches in the Nesquehoning and Summit Hill and a part-time pastor at Lehighton area churches, died Thursday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Eleanor E. (Brodell) Brown. They observed their 36th wedding anniversary in October.
A 1956 graduate of Temple University with a bachelor of arts degree, he received his master of divinity degree in 1959 from Mount Airy Seminary, Philadelphia.
He was pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, Nesquehoning, 1963-67, and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Summit Hill, 1960-67, and, at the time of his death, was part-time pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Lehighton, where he was a member, Zion Lutheran Church, Packerton, and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Weissport.
Rev. Brown interned at Rosemont Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, from 1959-60, when he was ordained.
He also served as pastor of Zion (Spies) Lutheran Church, Reading, 1967-76; Zion Lutheran Church, Minersville, 1976-84; and Jordan Lutheran Church, Orefield, 1984-96.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Leslie F. and Beatrice T. (Tompkinson) Brown.
He was a past president of the Lutheran Service of the Lehigh Valley; an officer in the Lutheran Historical Society, Philadelphia; former board member of the Northern Lehigh Branch No. 8629 of the Lutheran Brotherhood; member of the Lutheran Men in Mission of the Lehigh Valley; and a committee member of Bike for World Hunger, Northeast Pennsylvania Synod.
Brown was a member and former board member of the Community Camarata Singers, Allentown; vice president of the Kuhnsville Area Lions Club; and a member of the Lehigh Valley Coalition on Gambling.
Surviving in addition to his widow are three sons, David L. of Allentown, Philip J. of Woodmere, Ohio, and Kenneth C., at home; a daughter, Barbara J. of Fountain Hill; and a grandson.
George T. Unangst
George T. Unangst, 89, of Fullerton, died Thursday in the Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Anna M. (Shotzberger) Unangst. They observed their 58th wedding anniversary in April.
He was a turn foreman in the alloy and tool steel division of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation before retiring in 1970 after 38 years of service.
Born in Bethlehem Township, he was a son of the late Dayton E. Sr. and Laura (Diebert) Unangst.
He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, South Whitehall Township, where he was treasurer of the menıs Sunday school class and former treasurer of the usher association.
Unangst was an advancement chairman of District 5, Boy Scouts of America, Minsi Trails Council, for 45 years, and a former scoutmaster. He was a recipient of the Key and Silver Beaver awards.
He was a former secretary-treasurer of the Civilian Conservation Corps, Chapter 6, and an alumni of the National Association of the CCC.
Active in the Ecumenical Food Bank, Allentown, he was a member and former secretary of the Pennsylvania Dutch Folk and Cultural Society, Lenhartsville.
Unangst served in the National Guard.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, George M. of Walnutport and David L. of Catasauqua; a brother, Dayton E. Jr. of Palmer Township; a sister, Isella Paulus of Pennsville; five grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
Alice L. Green
Alice L. Green, 70, of 618 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, died Wednesday in the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. She was the wife of Donald E. Stufflet.
Born in Jim Thorpe, she was a daughter of the late Eugene L. and Mabile L. (Walck) Hardy.
She was a member of Dinkey Memorial Church, Ashfield.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three sisters, Pauline Rausch of Slatington, Joyce, wife of Burnell Neff of Bowmanstown, and Shirley M. Muth, residence unknown; two brothers, Leroy of Allentown and Albert of Lehighton; and 10 children.
Mrs. Kathryn S. Kuba
Mrs. Kathryn S. Kuba, 82, of Allentown, died Wednesday in the Zohlman Nursing Home, Richlandtown. She was the widow of Samuel Kuba, who died last month.
Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Charles R. and Mary E. (Stichter) Schiefly.
Surviving are a son Kenneth of Allentown; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
John P. Fisher
John P. ³Dumper² Fisher, 89, of 629 Hazle St., Tamaqua, and formerly of Coaldale, died this morning in Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. He was the husband of Anna (Kidda) Fisher.
A former coal miner, he worked for the former LNC Company until it closed, then worked for Tam-Pallet, Lehighton RD, until retiring.
Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late John and Maria (Boyle) Fisher.
He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Tamaqua.
He also was a member of the South Ward Fire Co. Tamaqua, the Lansford Golden Agers, and the Father Henry K. Baker Council 2711, Knights of Columbus, Tamaqua.
He was a graduate of the former St. Maryıs High School, Coaldale.
Surviving with his widow is a son, John P. Fisher Jr. of Tamaqua; a sister, Sister Mary Alfred, IHM, Camilla Hall, Immaculata, Pa.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Cecilia Sterner, Helen Higgins and Anna Fisher; and two brothers, James and Emmette Fisher.

Pauline Macik
Pauline Macik, 87, formerly of Lansford, died this morning in the Miners Geriatric Center, Coaldale.
She worked in the garment industry many years, prior to her retirement.
Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of the late John and Susanna (Puskar) Macik.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Lansford.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
