Kathryn "Kay" (Ryan) Tancraitor, 62, of North Versailles Township, died Saturday, July 29, 2000. A daughter of the late Henry and Evelyn (Powell) Ryan. Beloved wife of Otto J. Tancraitor Sr.; dear mother of Otto (Sharon) Tancraitor Jr., Cheryl A. Yadesky, Denise L. (Steve) Greco and Lisa Tancraitor; loving grandmother of Otto J. III and Jennifer Tancraitor, and William J. "Bill" and Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Yadesky; sister of Henry, Robert "Bob," Donald "Don," Thomas "Shorty" and Charles "Pete" Ryan, Patricia "Pat" McCoy, Clara "Wally" Byrne and Linda Kerr; sister-in-law of Sister Maxine, Max Sr., and the late John Tancraitor; also numerous nieces and nephews. James Taylor

James "Buddy" Taylor, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at the Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant. He was born Aug. 11, 1923, in Beaver Falls, a son of the late James H. and Lillie Jones Taylor. He was a member of the Connellsville United Methodist Church, the Teamsters, the Trotter American Legion Post 762, the F&AM Lodge, the Scottish Rite Consistory and he was also a Shriner. He was a graduate of Ramsey High School with the Class of 1942. Buddy was a 33rd Degree Mason, a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army 92nd Calvary in Northern Africa and European Theater. During his years of work, prior to his retirement, he had been employed by Cramer Trucking, Westinghouse Foundry in Trafford, Kaplan Trucking in Cleveland, Wilmer McGiffin Trucking, Morrow Trucking and Kendi Asphalt. He is survived by six sons , James B. Taylor Jr. and wife, Judy, of Peekskill, N.Y., Mark B. Taylor of Scottdale, Dwayne L. Taylor and wife, Minnie, of Lorton, Va., Michael A. Taylor of Aspen, Colo., and twin sons , Douglas H. Taylor and wife, Peggy, of Stafford, Va., and Dennis E. Taylor of Mt. Pleasant; 11 grandchildren, Lydia, Erin, William, Delfia, Andrea, Jonathon, Thandi, Douglas, Talia and Marcus Taylor, Michquel Nolan; three great-grandsons, DeAnthony, DeVon and Vinnie; a brother, Merle Taylor and wife, Dolores, of Plainfield, N.J.; four sisters , Sarah Drayton of Stroudsburg, Pa., Frances Robinson of Greensburg, LaVerne Wormack of Mt. Pleasant, and Hattie Taylor of Gallipolis, Ohio; and also many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy King Taylor in 1972; and a sister Lillian Lambert. Friends will be received in the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Griffin Mason officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with military rights accorded by the members of the American Legion.

Emma M. Wible, 74, of Latrobe, died Thursday, July 27, 2000, in the Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born Aug. 17, 1925, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Wilbert J. and Effie J. (Dunlap) Campbell. Prior to her retirement, Emma was the owner and operator of the former Wible's Market located on Ligonier Street in Latrobe, and was a member of the Christ United Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Wible; seven brothers , William J., Clarence W., Robert W., Charles L., Walter S., Harry R. and David D. Campbell; and three sisters , Agnes M. Fink, Ethel M. Schall and Effie V. Campbell. She is survived by her son, Reuel "Skip" Wible at home; her daughter, Judith D. Wible of Pleasant Unity; a sister, Myrtle Marcinik of Latrobe; five grandchildren, Jill M. Zaremba, Jennifer L. Shaffer and Julie S., Cassie J. and Dakota Wible; a great-granddaughter, Aislyn Zaremba; and a number of nieces and nephews. Lewis P. Angotti
Ellsworth
Lewis P. Angotti, 91, of Ellsworth, Pa., died Sunday, July 30, 2000, in the Bethany Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, DeKalb, Ill. He was born in Ellsworth on Dec. 19, 1908, a son of Pasquale and Maria Carricato Angotti. Mr. Angotti attended elementary schools in Ellsworth, Marianna, Pa., and North Bethlehem Township, Pa., and graduated from the Ellsworth-Cokeburg High School as salutatorian of the Class of 1927. He attended California Normal School (now California University of Pennsylvania ) before accepting a teaching position in Ellsworth in 1930. He completed his baccalaureate studies in 1935 and earned the degree, Master of Science in School Administration, from the University of Pittsburgh in 1949. Mr. Angotti was a life-long resident of the Ellsworth area and served as a teacher/administrator in the Bentworth School District and its antecedents for 42 years. After 18 years of teaching mathematics in the Ellsworth-Cokeburg Junior-Senior High School, Mr. Angotti served as the supervising principal of the Ellsworth Borough Schools from 1949 to 1961, the supervising principal of the Bentleyville-Ellsworth Area Joint School District from 1961 to 1966, and the supervising principal and later the superintendent of the Bentworth School District from 1966 to 1972. In addition to his teaching and administrative duties, he coached the Ellsworth High School basketball team in the 1945-46 school year and the school's football team in 1945, 1946 and 1947. Along with his administrative duties with the Bentworth School District, Mr. Angotti served as the part-time supervising principal of the following Pennsylvania school districts: Beallsville (1950-57), North Bethlehem Township (1957-61), and Cokeburg (1958-61). He also served on the Board of Control of the California, Pa., School District when it was in a state of financial distress and helped lay the groundwork for the Monongahela Valley Vocational-Technical School. He served as Monongahela Valley's superintendent during the 1971-1972 school year. After retiring in 1972, Mr. Angotti was an active and dedicated member of the Bentleyville Lions Club, serving as the club's treasurer on several occasions, the club's president on one occasion, and its unofficial photographer. For his contributions to the community, he was named as the Bentleyville Lions Club's Man-of-the-Year in 1972 and a Melvin Jones Fellow by Lions Club International in 1997. Most recently, he received an award for 27 years of service to the Bentleyville Lions Club and served in absentia as the Grand Marshall of the Ellsworth Centennial Parade in July 2000. Mr. Angotti was a member of the Washington County Retired Teachers Association, the Pennsylvania State Education Association, the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees, and the National Educational Association of the United States. Mr. Angotti's wife of 57 years, Verna Vance Angotti, died in 1991. He is survived by his son Lewis Paul (Grace) Angotti of Carrollton, Ky., his son, Rodney (Joyce) Angotti of DeKalb, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Lewis Vance Angotti, Elizabeth (James) Thurber, Sherry (Ed) Stokes, Donna Angotti, Gary (Sarah) Angotti, Katherine Bell and Elizabeth Bell; seven great-grandchildren, Alexa Angotti, Lauren Angotti, Kelsey Stokes, John Angotti, Brandon Stokes, Morgan Angotti and Virginia Thurber; two sisters , Rose Adams of Pleasant Hills and Mary Kusky of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Angotti's brothers , Frank, Michael and Leopold, and sisters , Rachael Sirianni and Theresa Coccari, are deceased. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 3, at 10 a.m. in GREENLEE'S FUNERAL HOME, Bentleyville, Pa. Entombment will be at the Beallsville Cemetery. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, with the Rev. Father Pierre Falkenhan officiating.

Robert A. Blacka Sr., 70, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Perryopolis, died Sunday, July 30, 2000, at 2:40 p.m. in his home. He was born Feb. 20, 1930, at Fayette City, a son of the late Delton and Margaret Reckard Blacka. Robert was a member of Perryopolis United Methodist Church, the Teamsters Local 491 of Uniontown and Local 872 of Charleroi. He was a Veteran of the
Korean War, having served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by a son and three daughters , Robbie A. Blacka Jr. of Woodbridge, Va., Mrs. Paul (Deborah) Galla of Star Junction, Mrs. Wayne (Cheryl) Nicholls and Mrs. Randy (Lisa) Fisher, both of Perryopolis; and 11 grandchildren. Alice M. Logreco Cichetti, 76, of Youngwood, died Monday, July 31, 2000, in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. The oldest of three children of Earl and Elsie Paul Guy of Uniontown. She was born Nov. 7, 1923, in Rivesville, W.Va. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Youngwood, and the Senior Citizens Craft Class and Circle I of the church. Also she was a member of the Ridgerunners Trailer Club and enjoyed square dancing. She had worked at Westinghouse at Youngwood and was a cook at Hillview Restaurant. She is survived by six children, Mrs. Ben (Joann) Policastro of Youngwood, Mrs. Ward (Barbara) Harrold of Youngwood, Ronald Logreco and wife, Michele, of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Bill (Laura May) Rust of Indiana, Pa., Richard Logreco of Youngwood, and Mrs. Bob (Cindy) Bayus of Ruffsdale; and two stepchildren, Denise Ohr of Greensburg and R. Dean Cichetti of Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, in October 1990; a brother, James Guy; and a sister, Pauline Lloyd. Friends will be received at the C. Wilburta D. "Deets" Cosco, 74, of Butler, died Monday, July 31, 2000, at her residence. She was born in Irwin, July 15, 1926, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Margaret (Lawson) Dudley. She was a homemaker, and a member of Nixon United Methodist Church and the Penn Township Women's Club. She is survived by her husband, Anthony V. Cosco, whom she married Sept. 19, 1947; two daughters , Mrs. Samuel (Valerie Cosco) Price of Greensburg and Stephanie Cosco of Pittsburgh; a son, Mark A. Cosco of Cranberry; a granddaughter, Rebekah I. Cosco; a sister, Mrs. Earl (Jane) Frye of North Huntingdon; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters ; and two brothers . Sarah Jane Cottom, 60, of Greensburg, died Monday, July 31, 2000, at her daughter's home in Douglasville, Ga. She was born in Brownsville, Feb. 14, 1940, and was a daughter of Ada Salisbury Cottom of Greensburg and the late Charles I. Cottom. Sarah had been employed by the J.C. Penney Store in Greensburg and in Ross Park Mall. She was Methodist by faith. In addition to her mother , she is survived by her daughter, Beverly Ann Sheets Shevlin and her husband, Michael, of Douglasville, Ga.; her sister, Luzetta Cottom Booth of Greensburg; her brother, William G. Cottom and wife, Betty, of Monroeville; grandchildren, Lindsay, Jennifer and Ryan Shevlin; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Henry "Harry" Donegan, 78, of Irwin, died Monday, July 31, 2000, at his home. He was born April 11, 1922, in Scotland, a son of the late Henry and Margaret (Clark) Donegan. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a machinist for the Elliott Co., in Jeannette. He was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Irwin. He was also an avid gardener. Surviving are his beloved wife, Catherine Evans Donegan; a daughter, Kathleen Hoffman of Austin, Texas ; a son, Kevin Donegan of Irwin; and two grandchildren, Bobby and Katie Hoffman. Friends will be received at the JOSEPH F.
